At Cancer Research UK, we exist to beat Cancer.

We are looking for a Marketing Executive to join our Awareness and Activation team delivering marketing to mass audiences, to bring to life the CRUK brand and drive awareness and support of key fundraising products, including Legacy and Individual Giving.

In line with our brand refresh last year, the Awareness & Activation team led the development and delivery of the 'We Are' campaign () which shines a light on the incredible achievements and potential of our research. As we look to the year ahead and the continued rollout of the 'We Are' campaign and related activity, we have big ambitions and exciting plans!

Cancer Research UK couldn't raise the millions that they do each year without our passionate and ambitious supporters. This is a great opportunity for an individual to join a key marketing delivery team and use their skills to have a real impact on how Cancer Research UK communicates with the public, and ultimately funds our life saving research.

What will you be doing?

  • Support the team in the delivery of CRUK's flagship integrated campaign to mass audiences to address brand and fundraising (Individual Giving and Legacy) objectives, with a focus on digital channels.

  • Work with the wider team to manage internal creative teams and agency partners on creative development.

  • Work with the wider team to manage the media agency and media plans (focus on digital).

  • Support the team, as needed, to deliver adhoc projects to amplify and/or complement the core 'We Are' campaign - e.g. media partnerships.

  • Work with the wider team to monitor campaign performance and identify and action optimisations. Fed into internal reporting and evaluation processes.

  • Manage team processes to support collaboration (within team and cross-functionally) and ensure the campaign is delivered effectively, across all channels.

  • Finance administration, including raising and receipting POs.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience within a marketing role, including creative & media delivery and campaign performance analysis & optimisation.

  • Ability to prioritise, manage conflicting deadlines, work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks to deadline.

  • Proven success of good stakeholder management, with the ability to build strong working relationships and collaborate effectively.

  • Highly analytical and numerate.

  • Proactive with a results & solution focused mindset.

Our organisation values are designed to guide all that we do.

Bold: Act with ambition, courage and determination

Credible: Act with rigour and professionalism

Human: Act to have a positive impact on people

Together: Act inclusively and collaboratively

We're looking for people who can believe in and embody these organisation values and can use them to drive forward progress against our mission to beat cancer.
