Across your geographic area of South London:
- Identify, develop, and steward supporter relationships with businesses, fundraising groups, and high value prospects.
- Understand supporter motivations, identifying opportunities across the Charity that inspire and engage, enabling them to achieve their fundraising goals and reach their potential.
- Identify and steward corporate prospects using a pipeline process resulting in applying for and converting opportunities.
- Be proactive within your area to identify opportunities for fundraising and raise awareness of the Charity.
- Manage supporters effectively using our CRM system (OneCRM) to provide excellent stewardship.
- Meet agreed financial targets, provide monthly financial progress reports, and put mitigation plans in place for any shortfall.
- Promote BHF’s activities and campaigns to raise awareness and drive income.

You'll need to live in (or within easy commuting distance which is defined as 1 hour from) South London region, or be able to relocate to this region.
This role requires regular travel within the area, and occasionally to other parts of the UK.
You must have a full UK driving licence at the time of application with access to your own vehicle.
There will be a requirement for flexible out of hours working to support occasional evening and weekend activity. You will be compensated for this with time off in lieu.

As our Product Events Executive, you will be working across our portfolio of amazing third-party events, including Cardiff Half Marathon, Edinburgh Marathon Festival and Bath Half Marathon. You will successfully manage the full delivery of your portfolio, including recruitment, stewardship and event day activations.
You will plan and deliver sector-leading stewardship for our supporters, bringing the events to life and encouraging participants to fundraise for the charity.
Working closely with the Product Manager, and the wider product deliver team, to deliver your own product portfolio over the long-term and collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders, building strong relationships to ensure resource and continued portfolio growth.

Join our dynamic Data Operations Team at the British Heart Foundation (BHF) as a Data Assistant! In this role, you'll play a crucial part in supporting our marketing activities through effective data management, retrieval, and reporting.
As a Data Assistant you'll be reporting to the Senior Data Executive by:
- Assisting with regular jobs held within the Data Ops team, including clearing exceptions on regular data imports, running simple selections, etc
- Importing and exporting data effectively and to Service Level Agreement (SLA) into and from our central database (Blackbaud CRM) with guidance from senior team members.
- Supporting the testing of data extracts and imports for campaigns and assisting with the administrative and ad-hoc duties of a busy team
- Liaising with internal customers; learning and understanding their requirements in order to deliver excellent service.
About You
You will come from a background in charity or marketing environment, with previous experience of using databases such as Blackbaud CRM, Raiser’s Edge or similar CRM application,
To be successful in this role you'll have the following skills and experience:
• IT literate; fully conversant with standard Microsoft packages particularly Excel.
• Good degree of data literacy with some familiarity of relational database structures, data querying and manipulation.

About the role
Our Database Support Team works to provide efficient, effective, and relevant system support to the users of the British Heart Foundation’s (BHF) CRM system, BlackBaud ECRM (BBEC), via the team’s helpdesk.
As a Data Support Assistant, you’ll play a key in supporting the work of the wider Data Operations team and Technology directorate, helping to structure and implement agreed changes and updates to the BHF’s CRM system and assist in the implementation & management of CRM housekeeping programmes.
You’ll work with a wide range of internal stakeholders, ensuring data is handled compliantly and efficiently across the board and our supporters have a high-quality experience and journey that they expect from us.
About You
With strong computer literacy skills, including knowledge of CRM systems or other database packages, as well as proficiency in Microsoft packages, you’ll be familiar with data querying and data manipulation.
You’ll have previous experience of using Raisers Edge/ BBEC/ or equivalent CRM/ database software, and will have excellent communication skills, able to develop strong working relationships with the team and colleagues at all levels of the organisation.
It would be beneficial to have a background in fundraising or marketing, as it will help in understanding the broader context of our projects. Additionally, your strong customer service skills will ensure that stakeholders have a high-quality experience and feel valued.
To be successful in this role you’ll also have:
- Experience of prioritising your own workload with exemplary attention to detail.
- Previous experience working with large databases, preferably Blackbaud products.

Our Finance team is looking to recruit a Finance Officer to join our Accounts Payable (AP) team to support the work and transactions that British Heart Foundation (BHF) perform for us to fund lifesaving science.
As an Accounts Payable Finance Officer, you'll:
- support the team and deliver a high-quality service in terms of timely, accurate and efficient entry of BHF expenditure onto our central accounting system
- ensure you achieve key performance indicators and individual targets agreed upon and set by the AP Team leader
- ensure that all transactions are coded and authorised to meet month end deadlines and meet agreed service levels.
- work on data capture and will have knowledge of IPOS queue management.
The AP team provides a high level of customer service, ensuring colleagues and suppliers are kept updated in the process and that the payment process is as smooth as possible, so you’ll effectively manage your workload and escalate complex issues to the team lead.
Understanding the needs of customers, you’ll raise the profile of finance through provision across the AP team of best-in-class service both internally and externally.
The role involves dealing with internal & external customers via email and over the phone, so you’ll be confident communicating in both conversation and writing.

- Accounts payable experience: A strong understanding and experience of BACs, invoicing, reconciliation, finance administration, and Account Payable processes. Familiarity with HMRC requirements for VAT and payments within the UK banking system, and a good knowledge of GDPR.

Experienced in designing and delivering complex learning programmes for both technical skills (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics, Azure, Power BI) and behavioural skills (e.g. communication), you’ll have previously experience managing complex learning programmes with multiple audiences, workstreams and stages, as well as experience in developing online learning resources and delivering virtual learning experiences.
You’ll be an all-round L&D Specialist but who has experience with technical training and can understand/pick up new tech quickly, able to work directly with subject matter experts and not get overwhelmed by the jargon.

Are you a dynamic marketing professional able to create impactful customer experiences and journeys that inspire and engage? Are you skilled at analysing data to optimise marketing performance and engagement?
We are seeking a Senior Marketing Executive to work within our Retention and Customer Journey team, to play a key role in delivering inspirational and valuable multi-channel customer experiences. Your work will inspire, engage, and mobilise individuals and communities to fundraise or donate, driving forward BHF’s vision of a world free from heart and circulatory diseases.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and Manage: Create customer engagement and retention plans across our customer our segments, working across a portfolio of products such as cash appeals, regular giving, events, and mission-related tools like RevivR (our online CPR training tool).
- Deliver Campaigns: Execute marketing communications, customer journeys, and multi-channel campaigns to meet income and mission targets, on time, within budget, and to agreed KPIs. Upsell, retain, and deepen engagement with existing customers.
- Customer-Centric: Ensure customers feel central to our work and achievements, motivating them to continue supporting our research long-term.
About You:
You’ll have solid experience in direct or integrated marketing roles across several channels, with expertise in analysing data to drive decision-making and optimising performance and engagement (especially direct mail, telemarketing, and email). You will have demonstrable experience managing customer retention marketing or loyalty campaigns in a fast-paced direct marketing team.
To be successful, you will have:
- Experience leading campaign delivery across multiple channels, generating growth and engagement.
- Outstanding planning and project management skills, with a track record of managing projects/campaigns on time and within budget.
- Strong analytical skills, be highly numerate and have experience working with expenditure budgets, including monitoring and reporting on income and expenses.
- Ability to identify opportunities, drive impact, and exceed KPIs.
- Strong interpersonal and confident negotiation skills, with the ability to develop strong working relationships with customers, external suppliers, and internal departments.
- Experience managing multiple external agency relationships.
- Experience with databases and CRM systems (Experience of Adobe and/or other marketing automation systems is desirable).
Working arrangements
This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London office.
