Job description

You will be joining our new Propel into Work service and will deliver advice, support and information for care experienced young people towards vocational learning and employment opportunities, and their supporting adults, via 1-to-1 support and employability workshops, resources on our Propel Into Work webpages, and by connecting young people with volunteers to offer further career insights. Whilst this role will support care experienced young people in different parts of England, they will have a particular presence and visibility in Manchester and Greater Manchester, through attending events, some in-person delivery, connecting with local organisations, and engaging with volunteers from local corporate partners.

Interview details:  

Interviews will have two parts: 

  • A sessionwith young people; 

  • A panel interview with Become staff. 

Interviews may be held virtually using a video calling app (Microsoft Teams or Zoom) or in person at our location in Central London. If access to technology/ WiFi is difficult for you, please contact us so we can assist in making suitable arrangements.   

Become also wants to ensure fairness in all of our interviews so all successful shortlisted candidates will be sent the interview questions in advance. 

Interviews will take place: 

  • Young people’s panel: Tuesday 5th November  

  • Staff panel: Wednesday 6th November
