Job description

Youth services are a vital component of Asylum Welcome's wide range of services for sanctuary seekers across Oxfordshire . You will lead and deliver advice and support to individual young people and organise a regular youth club, sports and other activities.

You will have part time staff support and will organise a team of volunteers, working closely with other Asylum Welcome staff and services to help young people under and over 18 to settle and thrive locally.

You will have experience of youth work and of working with refugees and an understanding of the law and challenges facing young asylum seekers and refugees. People with lived experience are particularly encouraged to apply.

We would be open to appoint on a full time or 4 day a week basis and we would consider a job share if feasible. Some evening and occasional weekend  work will be required. You will primarily work from the Oxford office, with activities across and outside the city. Some home working is possible.
