Financial Controller
We are seeking an exceptional Financial Controller to join our Finance function in a pivotal senior role. As a key strategic partner, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and compliant operation of our financial accounting processes.
Asthma + Lung UK is the only charity in the UK fighting for everyone with a lung condition, aiming for a world where everyone can breathe with healthy lungs. We fund cutting-edge research, provide advice and support for the 12 million people who will get a lung condition during their lifetime. We also campaign for clean air and for better NHS diagnosis and treatment.
You will manage comprehensive accounting operations; ensure financial transaction recording and reporting compliance; develop and maintain internal control policies; oversee financial risk management; prepare Statutory Reporting Accounts; manage audit processes; and contribute to company financial strategy
You will have an CCAB recognised qualification (ACA, ACCA) with significant post-qualification management experience. Your skills will also include advanced financial analytical and modelling capabilities; excellent communication (written and verbal) with strong IT literacy and Excel proficiency; staff management expertise; exceptional organisational skills; detailed problem-solving abilities and high attention to detail.

Location: Hybrid working between the Aldgate, London office and home
Salary: circa £65,000 per annum
