Public Fundraising Officer

We are delighted to be working with Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) who are searching for a Public Fundraising Officer. DofE helps young people to build life-long belief in themselves, supporting them to take on their own challenges, and this is your opportunity to support this transformation!

The DofE’s brand new Public Fundraising team are responsible for Individual Giving, Legacy Marketing and Mass Participation Fundraising, and the Public Fundraising Officer will be key to ensuring its success. This vital new role will support the delivery of DofE supporter acquisition and retention campaigns, as well as creating and delivering fantastic fundraising and stewardship materials across Individual Giving, Gift in Wills and Mass Participation programmes.

To be successful in the role of Public Fundraising Officer, you will need: 

• The ability to write clear and engaging copy that effectively inspires and motivates supporters
• Enthusiasm and a strong desire to develop within fundraising
• A creative mindset, with an eagerness to generate new ideas and contribute to the development of the Public Fundraising team
• Ability to build excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Salary: £29,900 - £35,000
Contract: 3 year fixed-term with potential to extend
Location: London, flexible working options
