We have an excellent opportunity for a Head of Fundraising and Communications working for Girls Friendly Society, which seeks to support and inspire girls and young women. You will report to the CEO. As part of this role, you will lead on the delivery of the organisation’s fundraising strategy, including developing new income streams with a focus on corporate partnerships and building large multi-year funding partnerships. You will develop the charity’s brand and communications, which is a key pillar in the charity’s new ‘Ambitious and Brave Strategic Plan’.
Excitingly, this will offer you the opportunity to lead a team of four across fundraising and communications to deliver on annual plans as well as being a member of the organisation’s leadership team, fostering a collaborative and supportive culture.
To be successful as the Head of Fundraising and Communications, you will need:
- Proven experience of effectively managing and motivating a team, with experience at senior level and in strategic thinking.
- Proven track record of fundraising across income streams with some experience of corporate.
- Experience of delivering targeted communications and/ or multi channelled campaign design and delivery.
