Interested in taking the next step in your fundraising career? Stroke Association is looking for an experienced Corporate Partnerships new business fundraiser to join their organisation to generate vital funds from new corporate partnerships. Their mission is to provide specialist support, funding critical research and campaigning to ensure people affected by strokes get the best support to rebuild their lives.

The Business Development Manager will support the growth ambitions of the Corporate Partnership team by shaping the new business and partnership development strategy, and helping to build a sustainable pipeline to drive new partnerships and income. As part of the role, you will be responsible for identifying, approaching and securing new high-value, multi-year corporate partnerships across different commercial sectors, focusing on opportunities with potential value £50k plus per annum. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation, such as Research, and Individual Giving, to develop partnership propositions which support teams to deliver on their strategic ambitions.

To be a successful Business Development Manager, you will need:

  • Proven experience in securing and building high-value corporate partnerships in the charity sector across a variety of income streams.
  • Demonstrable understanding of ‘shared value’ approaches to corporate/ non-profit partnerships and how these may be applied to Stroke Association’s operations.
  • Experience of developing existing corporate engagement, with strong ability to create compelling pitches and lead presentations.

Salary: £45,000 to £49,000
Contract: Permanent
Location: Remote, with work-related travel
