Job description

The Alliance for Youth Justice is seeking a values driven, engaging and creative individual to join our small team to build the profile of the charity with our stakeholders and foster strong relationships with our members.

About the Alliance for Youth Justice

We bring together 80 member organisations, ranging from national charities to grassroots groups to influence policy, legislation, and practice. The Role

As our Communications and Engagement Manager, you'll play a vital role building the profile of the Alliance for Youth Justice with our stakeholders and fostering strong relationships with our members. You'll be responsible for:

  • Strategic Communications: Developing and implementing effective communication plans to reach diverse audiences, including policymakers, the public, and our members.

  • Member Engagement: Building strong relationships with our members, organising events, and providing support to help them achieve their goals.

What We Offer

  • Impactful work: The opportunity to contribute to meaningful change in the lives of young people.
  • Collaborative and values driven team: A supportive and passionate team dedicated to our mission and values.
  • Competitive Salary: A salary of £28,000 per annum for 4 days a week.
  • Flexible Working: A flexible work arrangement to balance your work and personal life.

To Apply

If you're passionate about social justice and children's rights and have the skills and experience to make a difference in this role, we encourage you to apply. We recognise that historically marginalised groups may choose not to apply for a role they could be brilliant for because they don’t see themselves in every single element of the person specification. If you are interested in applying but aren’t sure that you have all of the skills and experience listed, please do still apply.

Deadline: 28th November 2024, 9.00am

Interviews will be held on 12th and 13th December 2024

Please download the recruitment pack and send your CV and covering letter outlining how your skills and experience align with the person specification.
