Age UK is recruiting for Procurement Manager on a permanent basis. This position is a new role to the organisation.
The Procurement Manager will lead on and manage end-to-end procurement processes for a range of goods and services across Age UK's portfolio of supplier spend; provide expert advice and guidance to stakeholders across all levels of the organisation; and promote awareness and understanding of the organisation's procurement policy and processes.

Additional Information
We ask all members of Age UK's Partnerships and Philanthropy department to work from our London office at least once a week to enable collaboration, skills development and team dynamics (currently Thursdays).
From time to time, we may also require the successful candidate to come into our London office for face-to-face meetings with funders and colleagues at other times in the week: as per the terms of our hybrid contracts we aim to give seven days' notice when this happens.
This role will on occasions require travel outside of London and working outside of normal office hours e.g. for funder events and cultivation.

Working within our dedicated Retail Support Team, the successful applicant will utilise their skills in administration, data management and customer service to help ensure Age UK's retail Operations are compliant and well-supported.
Working full-time at our Warrington office, you will support our Retail Support Senior Co-ordinator in the swift response to both internal and external stakeholders, both over the phone and via email, while fostering positive relationships with shops, volunteers and external contacts.
With an average of around 4,000 retail volunteers supporting our shops and over £2 million generated annually through Gift Aid, you will take responsibility for any administrative duties through our new online volunteer application platform as well as ensuring the accurate compliance and administration of Gift Aid across Age UK's retail estate; experience and knowledge of Gift Aid is therefore fundamental to the role.
