AAUK are seeking an agile, creative, and proactive team player to lead the Acquisitions team in the Funding Directorate.


The Acquisition Team in the Funding Department is a dynamic department with a wide ranging product portfolio and a multi-million pound budget envelope across Acquisition and Retention teams. We’re now looking for a strategic and forward thinking Head of Acquisition to take on the collective goal of maximising net income for our work with woman and girls.


The ideal candidate will be strategic and innovative, a good written & verbal communicator, and someone with a collaborative mindset & approach. Someone who  is motivated and has a proven track record in effectively motivating others. The right person will have the interpersonal skills to build strong relationships based on mutual respect and trust, and a strong commitment to anti racist storytelling. Working as part of a friendly and enthusiastic team, you will develop strategies to grow our income through delivery of multi-channel acquisition campaigns that engage supporters through positive experiences. 
Experience of driving effective direct marketing activity is essential, as is knowledge of fundraising compliance and best practise in line with evolving regulations.


This is a key strategic role in our funding team and you will have the opportunity to influence and transform the programme.

ActionAid UK has a hybrid working policy for many of our roles.  The requirement will vary from team to team and the responsibilities of individual roles.  As a minimum, all colleagues are expected to attend the office 12 days per year, plus additional time for induction, training, and “Company Connection days.”  Some roles may require in-office attendance on all days and if so, these will clearly be marked as in-office roles.
