 The role

We have experienced an exponential growth in income from public fundraising leading to an increased awareness of fuel poverty. To build on this success and maintain increased unrestricted income from a wider fundraising mix, we are recruiting a Fundraising Officer to join our knowledgeable and caring team.

The new Fundraising officer will join a small, friendly, but hardworking team who raise funds from a variety of sources including trust and foundations, corporate partnerships, major donors, events and community fundraisers and individual giving.  

What you will need to succeed

You will have a strong knowledge of fundraising and income generation, and you will play a major part in significantly increasing income growth. Reporting into the Fundraising Manager, you will be a motivated and talented Fundraising Officer who will help us grow our unrestricted income and expand our pool of donors. 

You will be required to lead your own portfolio of work, researching and identifying potential new funders, submitting applications and pitching for partnerships and support, as well as building strong relationships with donors. 

You should have demonstrable experience of working in a Fundraising role, with the ability to cover the whole spectrum of fundraising duties, thinking strategically and working operationally.

Your base location is negotiable, but you will be expected to travel across England, Wales and Northern Ireland with overnight stays as required.   

Hybrid and home working is subject to necessary H&S and GDPR checks. Post holders must be resident within the UK and be able to provide their Right to Work in the UK. 

We are offering: 

£29,778 to £34,546 per annum (Scale 6 - SO1, Points 18 – 25) plus London weighting of £3,300 if applicable. New appointments will usually begin at the starting point of the scale. 

· 11½% non-contributory pension.

· 25 days annual leave plus 3 additional days in between Christmas New Year Period when our offices close; plus, all public holidays per annum for full time staff, pro-rata for part time staff.

Partnership Development Executive.

Evidence of being a credible, clear communicator will be key and copywriting and creative design skills a huge bonus. St Ann’s Hospice is growing! Currently in the process of building a brand new hospice in Heald Green, this new role will build on the strengths of our existing Major Gifts fundraising programme to provide a significant contribution to our new build target and secure income for the future too.

• Researching, developing and managing a pipeline of HNWI in the hospice delivery area,

The successful candidate will work in partnership with Manchester Women’s aid to provide specialist support. You will lead a team of staff to provide excellent services and outcomes for women.

You will represent Nacro in this service area and work with the area manager to grow and develop the service.

Key Responsibilities.

• Lead, manage, develop, and motivate staff, including undertaking support and supervision and performance appraisals, to ensure their ability to perform roles and that they engage in their own personal development.
•  Plan and direct the activities of the team to ensure the delivery of a high-quality support and housing management service, which meets the contractual and organisational objectives, targets, standards, and outcomes.
• Oversee accommodation offers and placements.  Ensuring that people accepted meet the service criteria and are issued with the correct tenure.

Age UK are recruiting for a Retail Support Administrator with exceptional customer service skills to join their busy Retail Help Desk team based in Warrington. In this role you will offer specific administrative and operational support to a Divisional Sales Team and provide first line support through the Customer Services Helpline. No two days will be the same, whether it be receiving inbound calls and emails or customer enquiries. About the role:

As a Supporter Care Lead, you will be the primary contact for all fundraising supporter enquiries, ensuring every interaction is handled with empathy, care, and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities

• Supporter Engagement: Provide exemplary service in processing donations and handling enquiries via phone and email.
• Database Management: Maintain and enhance the CRM (Raiser’s Edge), ensuring accurate and compliant data handling.
• Team Leadership: Manage and support two Database Administrators, one focused on income and the other on clinical data.
• Operational Support: Collaborate with finance and data teams to support our growth ambitions and ensure compliance.

About you:

A charitable organisation is currently recruiting a Head of Finance on an interim basis for approximately 6 months. 

As the Head of Finance you have overall responsibility for the consolidated financial reporting and will support the Business Director to set the financial strategy and ensuring the Trustees are appropriately informed of the financial position of the Charity.

You will be responsible for the preparation and consolidation of annual budgets, management accounts and statutory accounts for presentation to the Trust and its Audit and Finance Committees.  You will also provide advice on VAT, tax, trading companies and submit the quarterly VAT returns.

The Finance team acts very much as a partnering function for the wider organisation and you will maintain strong working relationships with external stakeholders.
