Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to work across the organisation leading on the development and delivery of our inclusion work. Covering everything from our Diversity policy to our Client Engagement and Lived Experience strategy as well as relating directly to our clients, you’ll have the opportunity to transform our approach to these vital areas, ensuring we’re delivering the best possible service for years to come.

Action Foundation is an award-winning charity providing support to asylum seekers and refugees in the Tyne and Wear region, empowering them to overcome immediate barriers, integrate with the community, and build skills for the future We are an Equal Opportunity employer and welcome applications from all sectors of the community, particularly those who have lived experience of migration. This post is part time and though this post would require a good deal of flexibility including some evening commitments we operate hybrid working and flexible hours to accommodate a healthy work-life balance. Our offices at the CastleGate are situated close to Newcastle’s vibrant Quayside.

Essential information

Hours: 7-10.5 hours per week, 0.2-0.3 FTE, including some evening commitments

Salary: £30,301 – £35,208 per annum plus 6% pension contribution

Holiday entitlement: 28 days + English Bank Holidays, pro rata

Contract: Permanent, subject to passing a 3-month probation

Location: Hybrid Working / Mostly Office Based
