Major Appeals Project Manager – Interim, an opportunity to join a Health Charity, based in Central London, for a 3-month period, starting asap. 

The Appeals Project Manager role is ideal for someone who has strong project management and communication skills, with experience of working on or developing appeals and fundraising propositions, or similar.

  • Mostly Remote Working. Ideally 1 x day per week office based.
  • Open to Full-Time and Part-Time days of work.  
  • Starting ASAP.
  • Initially for a 3-month period.
  • £350.00 a day (LTD). Open to PAYE or Fixed-Term options. 

As the Interim Major Appeals Project Manager, you’ll provide additional support to the Head of Philanthropy, and wider team at an exciting time and busy period.

You will project manage and support the development of their fundraising appeals, working with colleagues across the organisation pulling together aspects of the appeals, developing the fundraising proposition, and playing a key role in driving forward the collective momentum of the appeal.

Key areas of the role:

  • Project manage the development of a range of fundraising appeals and propositions, working closely with the wider fundraising and marketing teams and senior leaders across the organisation on all aspects of the planning and delivery
  • Manage project plans to ensure an integrated approach between clinical, fundraising and marketing teams, as well as senior oversight and approvals
  • Work with Clinical group on building a business case of propositions and the key results the charity intends to make
  • Work with the marketing team on articulating the case for support and commissioning the necessary marketing materials

Skills and experience required for this Interim Major Appeals Project Manager:

  • Experience of leading on, or supporting with, the development of appeals and fundraising propositions or similar.
  • Experience of working within fundraising. Philanthropy and high value fundraising settings would be advantageous.  
  • Experience of cross team working, project managing, and able to develop strong relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • Experience of working in or with a healthcare provider would be advantageous, though not essential.
