Reporting to the Director of Corporate & Business Services, The Finance Business Partner (FBP) will conduct a key role in bridging the gap between finance and the broader business. The individual will work closely with staff and other key stakeholders to provide financial insights, support strategic decision-making, and ensure financial targets are met.

The FBP will oversee delivery of core finance operations being the lead point of contact for our outsourced finance provider. The FBP will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, enabling business units to achieve their goals.

About the role:

Our Health team has an exciting opportunity for three new roles to join the team. Two of these roles will be focused in our North London TST team, and one in our Lewisham hostel team with a focus on improving the barriers faced by those experiencing homelessness when accessing health care. 

As a Health Lead, your role will focus on developing and embedding SHPs health approach into the services the charity provides.  It will involve working with and supporting those living within our hostels who have underlying health needs to access and maintain the health care they need. To complete initial health screening tools, create a health support profile  plan for each client and to make referrals to and support them in engaging with the correct services  (i.e. dentistry, podiatry). In this role you will complete health mapping and use this information to influence partnerships formed with external services to help overcome barriers faced by those experiencing homelessness. 

The approach taken with clients will be psychologically informed, incorporating an understanding of Personality Disorder, complex trauma and addiction.  The outcomes for your role, include developing positive and sustained relationships of trust with clients, supporting them to engage in health care support and see an improvement in their overall physical health.   

About you:

To be successful, you will have:

• A knowledge of (or willingness to learn) about common health issues and the barriers to health access that people experiencing homelessness may encounter.
• Ability to find ways to engage and develop relationships with clients who may have a low level of interaction with and/or suspicion of services. 
• Good understanding of local level health set up/services i.e. homeless health providers and teams. 
• Confidence in working both as part of a team and independently. 
• Skills and understanding of creating and monitoring support plans and record-keeping with regards to client support, safety and safeguarding issues. 
• The ability to advocate for and coordinate access to health care for clients with multiple disadvantage.

Main Responsibilities:

 u  Manage a case load working in partnership with agencies to provide integrated and planned interventions, giving advice, information, and practical and emotional support to families.

u  Maintain accurate records including use of the Early Help Management System (EHM) of all interventions and communications, including Early Help assessments, plans, chronologies, reviews, and outcomes electronically; share information with other professionals as appropriate (with consent).

u  Coordinate and facilitate TAF/TAC meetings and provide precise information.

As an IDVA, you will be able to effectively work with men experiencing domestic abuse, and supporting them to increase their safety and reduce harm. You will be providing high-quality, front-line service to prioritise risk, primarily focusing on males aged 18+.

Due to the funding of this job role, you will need to be willing to travel to different Boroughs within London and carry out lone working to spread and raise awareness of the DAVE Team, meeting with other services to create partnership working to ensure our clients receive the best ‘wrap around support’.

AAFDA was founded by Frank Mullane in memory of his sister Julia Pemberton and her son Will who were both killed by her ex-partner in 2003.

Each year, around 150 families lose a loved one to domestic homicide. The actual number of suicides as a result of domestic abuse remains unknown.  Most of these families suffer significant problems including relationship breakdown, job difficulties/loss and mental and physical health issues. We help these families in many ways, our prime function being to provide families in England and Wales with specialist peer support and expert and specialist advocacy for the range of statutory reviews that will take place after domestic homicide.

AAFDA (Advocacy After Fatal Domestic Abuse) is a growing Charity and to meet the demands of this growth, we are looking for an exceptional candidate to join our team in a highly rewarding opportunity. Although home based, some travel will be required - frequency will be commensurate to the role. • manage families’ expectations of the legal and procedural processes facing them by supporting families in meetings with agencies such as health, police and local authorities;
• give families practical help on a wide range of issues - including help with letter writing or advocating with employers and local authorities on the families’ behalf;
• Support AAFDA in our bringing families together in AAFDA’s peer support events, such as the Hear Our Voice weekend and the on-line peer support Zoom sessions, where families can speak with others to share their experiences and stories. This will involve occasional evening work.

Minds Up is a growing mental health and wellbeing training programme for young people, delivered in schools across five south east London boroughs by South East London (SEL) Mind. The programme aims to increase young people’s awareness of mental health, help them recognise the signs if they are experiencing poor mental health and help them take action to protect their own mental health and boost their wellbeing.

We are looking for an administrator to help support the effective operation of the Minds Up Service. The role holder will need first rate communication skills, with a genuine passion for supporting young people’s mental health. Applicants will be able to demonstrate skills in efficiently managing a central inbox and calendar, as well as experience as the first point of contact for public enquiries.

The administrator will require knowledge and experience of maintaining up-to-date, accurate records across multiple platforms, and supporting data and report compilation. An ability to work independently but collaboratively, to be proactive and show initiative is essential for this role.

This role is 15 hours per week, which will be worked over at least 3 days. The hybrid working arrangement would involve at least one day working in the office. The working pattern will be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate.

We are looking to recruit a fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) FP&A Manager to lead a newly established Business Planning team for the Raspberry Pi Foundation. The Foundation has an annual expenditure of £17m and employs 180 people in the UK, Ireland, India and the USA. We are anticipating further growth in the coming years. 

Reporting to the Director of Operations and working closely with the Chief Financial Officer, you will lead all aspects of the annual business planning and budgeting cycle and monthly reporting to the Foundation’s management and Trustees. The role will include financial planning, budgeting and analysis, and management accounting. You will lead a highly-skilled team, including the current Business Operations Manager and a Finance Apprentice.

As Head of Development, you will be a key member of a small team. Reporting to the incoming Chief Executive, you will develop and implement the preexisting fundraising strategy and guide the organisation’s communications and PR strategy. You will inherit a strategically developed portfolio of relationships and income streams, with particular strengths in trusts and foundations, and a strong network of individual donors and scope to build corporates. There is also a small but growing legacy circle, created in response to a recent bequest of £1M+. You will line manage a small team of two: the Development & Communications Coordinator, and the Marketing & Communications Coordinator. With ambitions to expand upon NYJO’s existing work, your ability to set and achieve more ambitious targets will be essential.

Please note that this role will require occasional travel that will vary across the year, depending on the events calendar. Travel is likely to be required twice per month - please discuss with Joe Blythe at QuarterFive. 

As Head of Development, you will:

• Develop and implement the existing fundraising strategy and develop marketing and communications efforts, ensuring cohesive and impactful messaging to effectively engage donors and stakeholders
• Deliver a high standard of supporter care and relationship management tailored to the level of giving, including nurturing their successful new Legacy Club
• Manage and attend an annual series of fundraising events, from relaxed open days to formal receptions
• Oversee NYJO marketing and communications
• Line manage the Development & Communications Coordinator and the Marketing & Communications Coordinator

Ideal skills and experience: 

• Experience of securing 5- and 6-figure grants from a range of trust, statutory and/or individual sources
• Tailoring applications to appeal to a diverse range of funders/donors, which may include drawing together distinct areas of activity to create bespoke packages
• An outgoing, approachable, confident and professional manner in dealing with donors, prospects and other stakeholders
• Interest in UK Jazz and enthusiasm for working with young artists and musicians and broadening access to participatory arts for all young people

About the Role:

Main Responsibilities:

The successful candidate:

• Knowledge in business administration, sciences, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Solid experience in a quality assurance or risk management role.
• Experience in ISO 9001:2015 implementation and audits would be great.
• Strong project management skills or relevant training
• Digital proficiency, with a keen understanding of how technology can improve processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Analytical, with a strong eye for detail and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in training staff on quality processes and standards.
• A proactive, flexible approach and the ability to work independently.
