What we do
Time & Talents is a lively, busy community centre in the heart of Rotherhithe, SE16. Set in a leafy heritage building, and ‘T&T2’, our second venue in Surrey Quays Shopping Centre, we offer something for everyone. With a history of 137 years of supporting people of all ages in Rotherhithe and Bermondsey, we bring people together for mutual support, fun and friendship, with a wide range of services and activities for older people and other adults, along with volunteering and children and families’ projects. Since resuming services post-Covid, we have realized the needs and wants of the community have shifted from our previous offer. We have a strong Community Development programme to connect with and rebuild our offer, including some big changes to pre-Covid ways of working. Building on a strong track record, we intend to continue working with the community to deliver activities and events that meet local needs while also providing opportunities for fun and friendship. Our community offer includes activities connecting children to nature and tackling food insecurity; accessible community fitness and wellbeing activities; and intergenerational activities and events. We are re-developing our offer whilst staying focused on our aims: ensuring that everyone feels part of a community and that no one is isolated or lonely. We are looking for a fresh pair of eyes to help us evolve this work.
The role
In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
• Strategic development and oversight of community programmes for children, adults and across multiple generations
• Leadership and line management of team; oversight of sessional facilitators and contractors used by team
• Setting programme budget and service targets; monitoring and evaluation to ensure delivery against these
• Playing a key part in building, broadening and developing new funding for these programmes and maintaining relationships with current funders
• Lead role in planning and execution of community events
• Development of corporate partnerships and CSR relationships
• Responsibility for general outward communications, including social media
• Contributing to the wider organisation as a member of the Senior Management Team
• Acting as Deputy Safeguarding Lead
About you
You have a track record of developing and delivering excellent community programmes in the third sector. You’re a seasoned team leader with experience of change management. You have an outwardlooking approach and are passionate about building programmes with community buy-in. You’re flexible, accountable, take responsibility, are highly organised and skilled in multitasking and balancing priorities. You have experience of fundraising and maybe other types of income generation. You have strong relationship building skills – internally and externally - and build trust and credibility easily. You are passionate about the power of community to connect and support people.

Your role
The business development team aims to expand Contact’s reach to parent carers and practitioners by exploring opportunities for new projects, partnerships, commissions and paid for content including webinars, workshops and training. We also work with forums to offer support on areas not covered by their grant. We expand our reach and support offer alongside of funded programmes. We aim to increase organisational sustainability by generating income and contributing to core organisational costs.
The Business Development Co-ordinator reports to the Business Development Operations Manager and is the linchpin for our business development programmes. You will be responsible for setting up events online and face to face, contacting trainers, taking bookings and supporting with promotion; making sure the support and content made available to families is kept up to date. The role also involves updating our CRM database, making sure invoices are raised and paid and collating information for reports from the database or Excel.
What we’re looking for
We are looking for someone who has excellent IT and digital skills, ideally with experience of online event systems such as Eventbrite and Zoom, a good knowledge of Excel and experience using a CRM database. You’ll need to be highly organised with excellent written and verbal communication skills, a friendly, confident phone manner and a good knowledge of the issues and concerns families with disabled children face.

The Development Trusts Association Wales (DTA Wales) is an independent practitioner-based membership organisation promoting the work of, and supporting the growing network of, community enterprises in Wales. Our members are all independent not-for profit organisations who are serving their communities through a wide variety of services and initiatives.
We are seeking a skilled and adaptable comms professional to deliver engaging communications and event support in both English and Cymraeg for DTA Wales and our Egin programme. We need someone who loves telling stories to convey the power of community action, and who excels at curating online and in-person events which support it.

The Upper Norwood Library Hub (UNLH) provides lifelong learning and opportunity for local communities and designs inclusive spaces for learning, wellbeing and the arts that support local communities and protect and sustain libraries. UNLH sits on the cusp of 5 London Boroughs (Croydon, Lambeth, Bromley, Southwark and Lewisham). Our professional library service is delivered by Lambeth Council, co-funded by Croydon Council; working in close partnership with the library and Council teams. We work in close partnership with library services, statutory and voluntary sector partners, connecting us to multiple communities and deeply rooting us into the heart of South London. Our library hub operates a co-created community programme focusing on sharing and learning, health and wellbeing, venue and performance and outreach activities. We promote equality through information, education, wellbeing and creative programmes that create open access and widen participation.
UNLH is managed by the Upper Norwood Library Trust (UNLT - an independent charity), formed in 2012 by local residents and a strategic priority is that we are ‘of’ our community not ‘for’ our community to ensure resident voice is central within the organisation.
This is an exciting time to join the UNLT team as we expand our community programmes and strengthen our impact. UNLT is seeking a Community Programme Manager to manage our education, wellbeing and arts activities for children and adults. Our programmes run on site, in the community and across London. The role sits at the very centre of our work. Working closely with the Hub Director, you will make UNLT’s activity programme a reality. The role also offers the opportunity for some hands-on delivery.
We’re looking for someone with strong people skills and exceptional organisational skills. For UNLT to have its intended impact, you will need to have a real eye for fine detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to engage empathetically with a wide range of people.
You will:
• be aligned with our values and our context.
• be skilled at communicating with artists, educators, practitioners, colleagues and partners with strong influencing skills.
• understand how the detail of programme planning feeds through into outcomes and you’ll be able to evaluate those outcomes in a systematic way.

Job Title: Public Affairs and Campaigns Manager
Location: Hybrid (requires a London office presence once a week/as needed for external meetings)
Hours: 28 hours per week
Contract type: 12 months Fixed - Term (Maternity Cover)
Salary: £33,795.20 per year (pro-rata), £42,244 (FTE)

- You will be excited to use your public affairs and campaigns skills to improve care and support for young people facing cancer across the UK
- A passion for current affairs and a keenness to build impactful public affairs relationships that lead to change for young people with cancer
- Keen to keep young people at the heart of our influencing work, considering how they can be meaningfully involved at each stage
