About Us: CWA is dedicated to providing life-changing support and safe accommodation to women and children experiencing domestic abuse. We are very passionate about our work and we are immensely proud of the support we have offered in Cambridge since 1977. We are seeking a resourceful and motivated refuge support worker to help deliver our life-saving refuge service to survivors of domestic abuse.

The Role: As the Refuge Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering tailored emotional and practical support to women and children living in our refuge. You'll work closely with a small caseload of women, helping them rebuild their lives, navigate their support plans, and move towards independent living. Your work will range from providing safety advice and emotional support to practical assistance like securing move-on housing, advocating with other agencies, and coordinating resettlement support. You’ll also ensure the smooth operation of the refuge, maintaining a safe, welcoming environment. You will be directly responsible to the Refuge Manager and will work as part of a small team which includes the Children’s Worker, Family Worker and Housekeeper.

● Act as day-to-day point of contact for the Development team’s use of the Spektrix database ensuring best practice.

The Centre for Computing History is an accredited museum and charity situated in Cambridge, with collections and learning at its heart. The museum's core purpose is to increase understanding of the history of computing by exploring its social, cultural and historical impact.

Role Summary
We're now seeking a talented, energetic and efficient Project Coordinator to oversee this exploratory project.
The Esmée Fairbairn Collections Fund, run by the Museums Association, aims to encourage participatory practice in museums, and this concept lies at the heart of this project. Participatory practice means involving visitors and communities in the creation and interpretation of museum exhibitions, programs, and events content – asking for stories about objects in the collection, rather than assuming we know what the most important stories are. This approach is inclusive, encourages visitors to feel ownership and helps museums discover untold stories about their collections.
We are looking for someone special to co-ordinate this process and exploit our unique platform to raise awareness of environmental issues and e-waste and to create change. The Project Co-ordinator will take ownership of the day-to-day operations of the Broken Earth Project, including working closely with all external and internal stakeholders, monitoring progress, and ensuring project milestones are met. This new fixed-term role is a critical part of the project and crucial to its success.

About the role:
We’re looking for passionate and dedicated Project Worker to join our Complex Needs Services in Camden. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team providing tailored support to clients with multiple and complex needs, including mental health challenges, substance use, offending behaviour, and physical health issues. Using a Biopsychosocial model and working within a Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE), you will deliver high-quality, holistic support to help clients achieve stability and move forward in their lives.
Role responsibilities will include;
- Providing personalised support to clients with multiple disadvantage, including poly-substance misuse, mental health concerns, and histories of trauma.
- Conducting needs and risk assessments, and work collaboratively to develop and implement support plans.
- Promoting harm minimisation and recovery, enabling clients to set and work towards their own goals.
- Supporting clients to develop life skills, manage relationships, build social networks, and access external services and community resources.
- Facilitating group activities and structured interventions as part of our in-house recovery programme.
- Working in a multi-disciplinary setting, coordinating with other professionals to create integrated care plans.
About you:
- Experience of working with multiple disadvantage individuals, including those with substance use, mental health issues, or histories of offending and trauma.
- Proven ability to provide personalised assessments, support planning, and casework.
- Strong understanding of the challenges that disrupt clients' journeys towards independence, such as substance misuse, mental health issues, and domestic violence.
- Excellent crisis management skills and the ability to respond effectively to challenging situations.
- A strong understanding of the strengths and recovery model and experience of working within a Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE).
- Ability to motivate and engage clients through structured activities, group work, and positive interventions.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

The purpose of the post is to work with a wide range of partners and volunteers to build active, more connected and resilient communities within the city of Salford. This includes recruiting, training and supporting volunteers and VCSE organisations to engage in civil contingencies and humanitarian responses within the city, and more broadly supporting the development of our volunteering work across multiple services.
Salford CVS delivers a range of projects and services that build resilient communities and encourage local people to be active citizens.
The postholder will primarily work on our Volunteering and Emergency Response activity, including the development and delivery of Salford CVS’s own volunteering programmes. We anticipate that, while it will fluctuate throughout the year, the postholder will spend roughly half their time on Emergency Response related work, and half their time on volunteering related work (although both areas overlap).

We are currently seeking a Digital Marketing Lead as part of the Communications Team at Carers First. The Digital Marketing Lead will play a central role in enabling us to deliver our 2024-2027 strategy and provide support to unpaid carers. This will include:
· Raising the profile of Carers First, building our brand awareness and engagement levels to reach new carers and to raise awareness of the issues affecting carers.
· Building on how Carers First engages with carers and supports them in accessing timely and relevant information.
· Managing Carers First’s digital marketing activities using a variety of digital marketing tools
· Overseeing Carers First’s digital presence, focusing on promoting our digital offer to reach more carers
To be successful you will be a digital expert, with proven experience of developing and delivering exceptional digital work as part of an overall communications strategy. You will be data driven with a passion for implementing and analysing effective marketing campaigns.
This role is hybrid with the expectation that it will be mostly remote working with some travel to Carers First locations required.
