Reporting to the CEO, this pivotal role will ensure the smooth running of a fast-paced executive office. As a key support to the CEO and SMT, the PA will manage schedules, oversee correspondence, and drive efficient administrative processes. They will coordinate meetings, board papers, and governance tasks, while also supporting operational planning and event logistics. This role requires exceptional organisation, discretion, experience in minute taking and the ability to anticipate and respond to the needs of a dynamic leadership environment. Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Schemes and Programmes Coordinator to oversee our specialist and on-the-day duty schemes across the country and our Bar in the Community (BIC) programme, which connects volunteers from the Bar with charities in need of their expertise. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following aspects of Schemes and the BIC programme:

• Overseeing and delivering the day-to-day administration
• Collating data into quarterly and annual performance reports
• Creating annual strategies
• Engaging volunteers and stakeholders
• Working closely with Courts, Judiciary, Chambers, the local Bar and other front-line organisations on the development and management of Schemes
• Facilitating BIC’s Management Committee

How we work with Employers and Higher Education Institutions

At Unifrog, we partner with universities and employers to help them connect with our global network of highly engaged students, teachers and careers leaders.

Our partnerships allow universities and employers to co-create content which can be accessed on the Unifrog platform (including online subject taster courses and day-in-the-life videos), share upcoming events and opportunities with relevant Unifrog students and teachers, and take part in a series of events throughout the year aimed at providing students at Unifrog schools with all the information they need to make the best decisions for their futures, and create the strongest applications.

The Employer and HE teams exist to support each of Unifrog's university and employer partners to make the most of their partnership with Unifrog, and to secure new partnerships with universities and employers who could benefit from a relationship with Unifrog.

The role and responsibilities

As New Business Lead for Employer and HE Partnerships, you will play a pivotal role in driving Unifrog’s growth in our employer and higher education markets. You’ll need to be target driven to help create a wider network of universities and employers to support Unifrog students from around the world to find their best next step.

You will be given support by both the HE and Employer teams but will also have the autonomy to lead your own campaigns and projects. 

You will be able to develop your skills, strengths and interests. We always look to make space for our team to grow within the company, and we have a general policy of promoting within.

Your key responsibilities:

• Design tailored campaigns involving emails, phone calls, webinars and social media, to target employers and higher education institutions in a smart and engaging way.

• Communicate with interested employers and higher education institutions to explain the work we do at Unifrog and the partnerships we offer in a compelling manner to secure online demonstrations for our Employer and Higher Education Partnership Managers.

• Attend conferences (sometimes overseas) to promote the work we do at Unifrog and network with relevant stakeholders in the employer and higher education sectors.

• Be the first port of call for partnership/collaboration enquiries from employers and higher education institutions.

• Work with our team of Employer and Higher Education Partnership Managers to understand the challenges they face and how you can support them in growing their partner bases.

• Analyse data from the Unifrog platform to inform your research around suitable higher education institutions and employers that we don’t work with but who would benefit from a partnership with us. 

• Support with other projects such as organising conferences, analysing our competitors, and reviewing our marketing collateral.

• Communicate information about our line up of online and in-person events to non-partner HE institutions, to secure their attendance at these events.

• Gain an in-depth understanding of our competitors in the market.
   

Working together

You’ll be working with the HE and Employer teams, alongside the Partnerships Director for International Schools and HE (who will be your line manager), the Partnerships Director for UK Schools and Employers, the Head of Employer Partnerships, and the Head of HE Partnerships. Your projects will also see you collaborating closely with the Marketing team.

Main Responsibilities:

Our FOOD (Food On Our Doorstep) programme aims to: provide regular access to a sustainable supply of food to people at risk of food insecurity; encourage families to access local support services and be signposted to other agencies; increase disposable income for local families to improve life chances and wellbeing; reduce the amount of food being sent to landfill in the UK by utilising surplus food. 

Key tasks and responsibilities:

1. Supporting all aspects of the day-to-day running of the programme to ensure the clubs have high standards of service delivery.

2. Supporting the FOOD Club Coordinator to carry out regular compliance checks to ensure the quality and safety of the service, in order to protect service users and Family Action. 

3. Ensuring all aspects of the role are carried out in line with food safety/hygiene standards.

4. Ensure volunteers are using up-to-date allergies forms to prevent any risk to service users.

5. Support the FOOD Club Coordinator with financial checks, stock control, recruitment, induction and training of volunteers.

6. Recording accurate data to enable the FOOD Club Coordinator to report on KPIs, including uptake of the scheme, service user income, and the positive financial impact on families. 

7. Encourage regular attendance at FOOD Clubs to ensure income is maintained and to prevent food wastage. 

8. Provide regular feedback to the FOOD Club Coordinator on the quality of food and resources from suppliers.

The post holder will have an excellent understanding of domestic abuse and its effects on women and children. The post holder will understand children’s social care and care proceedings. As an experienced domestic abuse advocate who has worked with complex and multiple needs, the post holder will be skilled in risk management and safety planning, remaining calm in a crisis and in handling sensitive information on a daily basis. Experience of direct work with female survivors of domestic abuse, of supporting women involved with Children’s Social Services and Early Help, and of working within safeguarding procedures is essential for this post, as is the need to adopt and promote a strong partnership approach to service provision.

This part-time role is an enhancement to the existing One-Stop-Shop (OSS) with a specific focus on families, which brings together a range of organisations to work together in one location to offer advice and services to victims and survivors of domestic abuse. Currently the service operates 1 -2 day per week, offering specialist multi-agency support and with this enhancement of provision, this will enable an increase in the days the OSS is open and available, including the OSS Co-ordinator also being based in a greater variety of locations such as family hubs.

The One Stop Shop Coordinator will coordinate a range of organisations e.g. solicitors, housing, by-and-for organisations, DWP to work together in one location to offer advice and support service to victim survivors of domestic abuse. Their interaction with families will include being the first point of contact for families when they are entering the OSS, advising mothers of their rights and options for seeking help and support from other agencies and direct them to the most appropriate service and, proactively assessing the needs and safety of children and women to ensure that any risks/needs identified are addressed.

About the role:

The Children & Young People Worker will be based in our Brent service and hold responsibility for delivering one to one and group work services for children of the age of 5 – 18 years, where there is domestic abuse perpetrated from one parent to another or in the household. The post holder will provide support and advocacy for young people and identify and improve referral pathways for those experiencing domestic violence and abuse to access ongoing support.

The post holder will have an excellent understanding of domestic abuse as its effects on women and children, and of best practice within the domestic abuse and young people’s sectors. As an experienced children and young people’s advocate who has worked with complex and multiple needs, the post holder will be skilled in risk management and safety planning, remaining calm in a crisis, and in handling sensitive information on a daily basis. Experience of direct work with children survivors of domestic abuse and working with young people and children in face-to-face and group-work is essential for this post as is working within safeguarding principles and promoting a strong partnership approach to service provision.

A car may be desirable for this role, though not essential

At London City Mission, we estimate that one in two Londoners, that’s roughly 4.5 million people, are unlikely to hear the gospel in their lifetime. It’s clear throughout the Bible that God has a heart for people who are marginalised and overlooked. And tragically, it’s often in London’s most deprived communities that people are least likely to hear the invitation to repentance and eternal hope in Jesus. 

At London City Mission, we are partnering with churches who have a growing passion for reaching out to the communities around them, but who need equipping and building up for this crucial work. Our aim over the next five years is to see 150 new missional teams established in churches across London. These missional teams are groups of church members who take responsibility for a ministry to a community who may not otherwise hear about Jesus, are affirmed and publicly supported by the church leadership, pray for each other and for the people they want to invite to follow Christ, using their different gifts regularly to reach people who are part of this community. We pray that, together by 2029, these teams will be part of 25,000 gospel conversations within communities where Jesus Christ isn't known. The Missionary role is, therefore, a Church mobilisation role.

We are seeking candidates for Missionary roles who have a passion for sharing the good news of Jesus with specific groups of Londoners, and who can also come alongside churches to train and inspire Christian believers to reach their local communities with the hope of the gospel.

Successful candidates will minister in – but not restricted to - the following locations:  

• Tower Hamlets team with a specialist focus on Islam & Other Religions*

This position is a full-time, permanent appointment. Starting salary is £22,045 per annum plus £1,200 per month housing allowance (taxable). Sutton Community Works (SCW) is a Christian charity in South London. Sutton Foodbank is one of our faith in action projects and we are looking for a dedicated manager to oversee the smooth delivery of this amazing project supported by almost 100 volunteers!

Our vision is for our faith in action projects to contribute to a safe and flourishing community in Sutton.

Our work focuses on areas including food poverty, young people, rough sleepers and homelessness. In all our work, our ethos is to love God and others in all we do and say, ensuring people feel seen, heard, understood, and helped.

Sutton Foodbank has been helping people in food crisis since 2009, and supported nearly 4000 adults and children in 2024. We are open 5 times per week across 4 different venues and people are referred to by referral partners across the borough. Details of our sessions can be found on Sutton Foobank website.

Sessions are run by our dedicated volunteers who come from local churches; and our dependable warehouse, restocking and transport volunteers always ensure food gets safely to where it is needed.

People visiting the foodbank come from a vast variety of backgrounds but all have faced difficult life experiences. Beyond food, we also want people to access support to improve their situation, so we commision Citizens Advice to come to the foodbank sessions to help people maximise their income and provide advice on topics such as housing, debt and benefits.

And as a Christian project we underpin everything with prayer, and actively offer prayer to our clients too. The genuine care and compassion from our volunteers helps to build trusting relationships so we can more effectively listen, pray and signpost people to other support. 

As our Foodbank Manager, you can use your leadership experience, excellent communication and organisational skills and Christian faith in a way that makes a real difference in people's lives.

This role focuses on legacy and in-memory giving - including gifts in wills which are some of the most meaningful contributions we receive, helping us fund research that will save and improve lives.

In this role you’ll be part of an exciting time at the charity, joining us as we roll out our new Fundraising Strategy and start developing new products. About the role

Woman’s Trust is looking for an interim Senior Communications Consultant to support the delivery of our ambitious organisational strategy, and our goal to ensure more survivors of domestic abuse have access to the mental healthcare they need.

We are looking for someone with a minimum of five years’ senior media relations experience within the VAWG or mental health sectors. This is essential as we work at the intersection of both policy areas and need someone who understands the unique position that puts us in, in terms of the services we provide and our expertise.

We are looking for someone proactive, with a keen eye for uncovering news stories within an organisation and spotting opportunities to respond to issues in the media or more widely.

Applicants must also be able to demonstrate they have secured recent print and broadcast press coverage and that they have experience supporting vulnerable survivors with media work.

The priorities will be to:

• Generate media coverage using case studies, data, research, spokespeople and in response to the news agenda (newsjacking)
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists
• Support senior staff and domestic abuse survivors with media work and speaking at events
• Review and update our website
• Monitor, manage and engage with communities proactively and reactively across our social media channels, including creating content
• Support the development of a communications strategy to underpin the organisational strategy
• Provide senior communications counsel and advice to the CEO, Chair and Senior Leadership Team
• Work and develop relationships with colleagues across the VAWG and mental health sectors in support of shared communications objectives
• Represent the organisation as and when needed at external events or media events

We’re looking for someone to come and join our friendly and dedicated team based in London for a period of three to four months while we re-assess our requirements internally and recruit for the position permanently.

The consultant will be expected to provide regular updates on progress and will be supported with an induction with team members from across the organisation.

Please note that this is an interim consultancy assignment and not a salaried role. The consultant will be engaged on a self-employed basis or via a limited company, with a clear scope of work and deliverables.
