The Role:

Mary’s Meals International is recruiting for an experienced Personal Assistant to join our Risk & Governance function. Reporting directly to the Support Services Lead, you will be responsible for providing efficient and effective support to our Chief Growth Officer, Chief Operations Officer and Chief People & Governance Officer, with ad hoc support to other members of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT). In this fast paced and varied role, you will work closely with our Boards, Committees and Leadership teams, providing a variety of support including diary management, attending meetings, taking minutes, managing follow up actions, travel arrangements, maintaining systems and processes and undertaking specific projects as required.

Key responsibilities & activities:

• Assess ELT priorities and re-directing emails, enquiries and requests as necessary.
• Drafting emails and other correspondence, proof-reading, and writing reports.
• Managing emails, phone calls, post, general correspondence, reports, minutes of meetings, forms and compiling address lists.
• Carrying out background research and providing reports on various subjects.
• Attending Board meetings for Programme Affiliates, and MMI Board meetings in the absence of the Support Services Lead, taking minutes at the same and preparing follow-up actions for circulation.
• Organising internal and external meetings and teleconferences, including booking venues, arranging accommodation, preparing agendas and meeting papers, disseminating meeting papers and liaising with board members.
• Organising and coordinating complex travel itineraries to optimise travel time and making all travel and accommodation arrangements necessary for the ELT and other key personnel as required.
• Undertaking projects from time to time on behalf of the ELT - examples include organisation of events.
• Attending regular ELT meetings in person in Glasgow.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Response are looking for an enthusiastic & creative individual to join our Communication & Fundraising team as Senior Digital Marketing Manager. The Senior Digital Marketing Manager will lead the development and implementation of Response’s social media strategies, overseeing both paid and organic content to raise awareness of the organisation’s work, connect with key stakeholders, and drive digital fundraising. The Role 

5Rights Foundation is seeking a dynamic and skilled Communications Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a central role in managing external communications, strengthening our media presence, and ensuring our messaging aligns with the organisation’s pioneering and ambitious global advocacy objectives. This role offers the opportunity to deliver practical change for children, as part of a small organisation with a strong track record of changing narratives, setting the agenda and bringing together both the expertise and the public support to get policy over the line.

Reporting to the Head of Communications and working closely with the 5Rights Advocacy and Operations teams, the Communications Officer will be responsible for crafting compelling content (such as articles, social media posts and press releases), liaising with journalists, and enhancing our brand visibility across multiple platforms. About Children Not Numbers

The escalating crisis in Gaza has left thousands of children in urgent need of medical care, trauma support, and long-term assistance. Children Not Numbers is a grassroots medico-legal NGO committed to the health, safety, education, and wellbeing of Gaza’s children.

Children Not Numbers was established in February 2024 by Sarah Ben Tarifite and Somaya Ouazzani, founders and co-directors, who were driven by the urgent need to support Palestinian children caught up amid an unprecedented conflict. In just over 12 months, the organisation has grown rapidly into a global network of over 115 staff and volunteers, most of whom are volunteer paediatric medics representing more than 30 subspecialties.

Their work includes:

• Emergency medical aid for sick and injured children in Gaza, delivered through collaboration between local staff and an international network of volunteer medics

• Short-term medical evacuation for urgent and complex cases – more than 230 children have been safely evacuated to date

• Rehabilitation and trauma support for children with life-changing injuries and extreme psychological trauma

• Maternal Support Programme – over 500 women supported across 1,100+ appointments

• Education and Empowerment Programme, currently supporting 300 children in Gaza with academic and psychological care

About the role

As Executive Assistant to Sarah and Somaya, you will play a vital role in helping the co-directors manage their time, priorities and communications, as well as providing organisational support across a fast-paced, high-growth NGO.

The Philanthropy Specialist plays a major role in meeting the organisation’s ambitious fundraising goals. Responsible for major giving and grants portfolios, the Philanthropy Specialist identifies, cultivates, solicits and stewards financial support from generous individuals and granting bodies.
