This role is within our Evaluation Practice. The evaluation team works with schools and organisations, analysing the impact of programmes and interventions to help them do more of what works and less of what doesn’t. We work with more than 1,400 schools and 70 education organisations, serving more than a quarter of million pupils. This includes helping our partners to design high-quality research projects, delivering them, and providing systems and tools for data collection, reporting and impact benchmarking.

The Opportunity

The School Engagement Coordinator is a new role working across ImpactEd Evaluation. The role will work directly with schools to deliver national research projects, support their onboarding to our School Impact Platform, and lead communications and data collection for our partnerships. The role would be a good fit for someone with experience or interest in the school sector and research and evaluation.

Day to day your role is likely to be a mixture of:

• Supporting new schools we are working with through their onboarding and data collection processes and monitoring progress
• Working with school leaders and teachers to implement research in their setting - for example on projects like our Understanding Attendance research
• General support for partnership delivery and administrative tasks working with different team members
• Standardised reporting and data analysis – this will require good attention to detail and working with Excel and MS Office Suite

We are looking for some of the following attributes, though you might be more experienced in some areas than others, and we are open to a range of backgrounds:

• Understanding and experience of the UK education system
• Experience of working within an administrative or customer service/partner focused role

I am urgently seeking an experienced Reward Practitioner for a Charity to undertake an almost fully remote position as Interim Reward Business Partner for an initial 3 month contract. The role can pay a salary in the range of £55,000 to £65,000 per year or a day rate of £300 to £350 per day through an umbrella company, depending upon experience.

The Vacancy
We are offering this unique and exciting opportunity to join in the work of the Connexional Property Support team and the wider Methodist Church in delivering its strategic plan to make the best use of its buildings for mission in local communities across the country.

Working alongside the Director and colleagues within the team, you will be helping to provide the essential support and guidance the team offers to Trustees, Ministers, Connexional colleagues and the wider church.
In particular, your role will provide a crucial focus helping to guide Trustees and Ministers on matters including the planning, development and commercial potential for their individual buildings and wider Circuit portfolios to enable them to make informed choices and contribute to the promotion and delivery of the Methodist Church’s property strategy.

This is a remote working role, with the post holder focussing on supporting churches in the Midlands and Northern regions. You will be required to travel to our offices in Manchester or London and other locations around the country as necessary.

Respect is seeking a Fundraising Manager to develop and deliver a fundraising strategy in-line with Respect’s five-year strategy, Stopping the Harm. This is a new role, which will be positioned within the Influence team, with some administrative support from the Operations team.

The role

Global Greengrants Fund UK is looking to hire an energetic and passionate individual who will play a key role in establishing and developing Global Greengrants Fund UK’s offering to individual donors to be able to make gifts of £100,000 annually, in order to secure significant unrestricted income for the organisation.

GGF UK has a small portfolio of existing high net worth individual (HNWI) supporters but is currently primarily reliant on income from trusts and foundations. The post holder will join the organisation at a time of very significant growth and will be expected to be able to work autonomously to build out a new income stream with significant potential to diversify our revenue and strengthen the organisation’s support to grassroots environmental justice movements.

Working as part of the Philanthropic Partnerships team and reporting to the Director of Philanthropic Partnerships, the postholder will also collaborate closely with colleagues across the global organisation Global Greengrants Fund, particularly within the Programmes, Communications, and Development teams towards realising organisational aims.

The candidate profile

The successful applicant will have significant relevant experience in a similar role in a charitable, environmental, development, and/or grant-making organisation. They will be an experienced, senior-level fundraiser with a track record of securing and developing successful relationships with HNWIs to achieve ambitious income goals. They will have extensive experience in developing pitches, proposals, and fundraising products; and a strong interest in environmental justice, international development or human rights issues. They will have an extensive knowledge of the funding and philanthropy sectors in the UK and Europe; excellent written and verbal communication skills; and be confident in engaging a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including at senior levels. They should also have excellent interpersonal understanding, relationship-building, stewardship, and conceptual skills to build strong alliances with diverse constituencies and manage complex politics, positioning, and relationships. They also thrive in a virtual environment and are motivated to take on challenges and collaboratively find innovative and creative solutions.

About the Role

This role will support the development and delivery of the RSPB’s UK carbon partnerships and reporting directly to the Head of Corporate Partnerships. Chronic Granulomatous Disorder (CGD) is a rare, life-limiting immune disorder, where children and adults get frequent bacterial and fungal infections, which can be serious and life-threatening.

The CGD Society is the primary resource for individuals facing a CGD diagnosis, offering essential information and support to families throughout their CGD journey. Our organisation is led by our dedicated and inspiring Executive Director who works tirelessly alongside our CGD Clinical nurse specialist, who is based at Great Ormond Street Hospital. While headquartered in the UK, we proudly support around 1,500 members across 77 countries, representing this global community with pride.

Key responsibilities

Community Fundraising 

• Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to increase income through regular giving, donations, campaigns, legacy giving, corporate partnerships, and other fundraising initiatives. 

• Promote participation in major sporting and challenge events. 

• Provide supporters with the necessary materials and motivation to maximize their fundraising efforts for the CGD Society. 

• Send personal thank you letters and certificates to acknowledge donations and fundraising efforts promptly.

Corporate Sponsorship and Partnerships

Grant fundraising

Digital Marketing 

• Lead the development and execution of social media content to increase awareness and income, utilizing optimal methods to reach target audiences and drive engagement.

• Source and maintain a repository of up-to-date case studies, photos, and videos on life with CGD, transforming these into media-ready stories for social media, newsletters, the website, and reports.

Person specification 

​Must have skills 

• Experience working within a fundraising or digital marketing environment demonstrating a track record of maintaining and growing income for supporters and/or organisations.

Baca is looking for a Support Worker who can join the support team and provide support, care and be a role model for young people who are newly arrived refugees and victims of trafficking aged 16 to 18. Service Overview: Barnardo's, the UK's largest Children's Charity are currently on an exciting and innovative Journey alongside Leicestershire County Council to deliver a range of Children's homes for the most vulnerable children & young people in Leicestershire.

Please note: Our Short Breaks home is due to open in May 2025. You must be flexible to travel throughout the locality to work in our other Leicestershire Residential Services Children's homes based in Hinckley, Coalville and Syston until Short Breaks is operational. This home will then become your base location.

Our beautiful new Short Breaks home in Mountsorrel will support children & young people between 8-18 years who have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and challenging behaviour. The service will provide up to 3 service users at any one-time opportunities to enjoy different experiences, establish friendships and develop confidence, independence and social/emotional skills.

Some of the responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

• To build trust and develop nurturing relationships which promote the service user's independence, wellbeing, strengths, and capabilities.

Main responsibilities:  

• Provide admin and operational support to the Fundraising Team
• Accurately record and manage data using the Salesforce CRM system.
• Ensure that fundraisers and supporters get timely correspondents by email or phone.
• Inspire supporters through innovative new stewardship ideas, sending out relevant materials and offering support and advice to enhance their event/fundraising.

About the role

Travalyst is recruiting its first full-time COO. This is a broad role, supporting Travalyst’s CEO and a growing Executive Leadership team to enable delivery of this first-of-its-kind global initiative. About you

You will be able to demonstrate a track record in successful organisational design and implementation, including the development of effective but adaptable systems and processes and their roll-out across a complex organisation with multiple partners and stakeholders. You will manage and lead on finance, governance and risk, ensuring that Travalyst is run according to the highest standards for a UK not-for-profit organisation. 

Proven scale-up operational experience, in a sustainability-focused organisation and/or a UK not-for-profit, is essential. Strong project management skills, enabling effective prioritisation and decision-making and excellence in delivery, would be of huge benefit in the role. 
 

Areas of responsibility: 

Governance, Legal & Risk

· Be accountable for governance structures and processes, including reviewing and revising governance documentation annually

· Ensure compliance with UK statutory and legal obligations 

· Support the Travalyst Board and CEO to ensure effective risk management and mitigation 

· Support CEO with preparation of Board packs and attend Board meetings as an Observer 

· Act as Company Secretary 

· Provide oversight of legal discussions and documentation, working with pro-bono legal team where needed

Financial Management

· Oversight of financial management and administration, including near and longer-term financial planning, modelling, and cash flow management

· Manage outsourced Finance Director, bookkeeper accountants and auditors for budgeting, statutory accounting, audit, payroll, and tax - and evolve the Finance function as the organisation scales

· Support the CEO on funder management, leading on financial and operational aspects of fundraising, including leading grant application processes, budgeting and grant reporting

HR and Organisational Design

· Oversight of HR management and administration, including resource planning and recruitment

· Managed outsourced HR and recruitment consultants on professional development, culture & engagement, employee lifecycle management and recruitment initiatives

· Evolve HR function as the organisation grows

· Oversee workforce planning and recruitment for new hires supported by outsourced HR

· Ensure compliance of all existing legal/ contractual agreements with employees, consultants and suppliers

Operations and Strategy

· Support the CEO on the development of Travalyst’s annual strategic planning and lead on the accompanying operational plan

· Support the CEO in managing Travalyst Coalition Partners, including acting as the relationship lead where required

Role Purpose

You will work alongside the Strategic Projects Manager to provide flexible and high-quality project management and administrative support to the Senior Management Team, working across THET’s programmatic, operations, policy, and advocacy work.

Community Fundraising Officer – Temporary Position from July 24 for 6 months (£24-25k)

You will become the fourth member of the Fundraising Team (there are 3 full time staff) and will help to support the fundraising team.

Sepsis is the immune system’s overreaction to an infection or injury. There are over 245,000 cases each year in the UK with approximately 48,000 deaths. UKST aims to reduce preventable deaths from this ‘killer’ condition. We achieve this by:

· Raising awareness

· Supporting those affected by sepsis

· Educating health professionals

· Lobbying political organisations for better sepsis and severe infection care

Key Responsibilities

1. Deliver supporter journeys i.e. fundraising resources and stewardship communications to maximise supporter numbers, retention and engagement.

2. Use UKST’s CRM system (Raiser’s Edge) to accurately capture fundraiser information and key data contributing to the improved development and implementation of fundraising processes.

3. Communicate proactively and effectively with team members to pass on all relevant information, deliver excellent supporter care and to maximise fundraising opportunities.

Position: S11187 Stroke Association Support Coordinator

Location: Home-based Birmingham and Solihull however, extensive travel will be required as part of this role (may include team meetings or other work-related meetings).

Hours: Part-time, 30 hours per week (flexible working available)

Salary: Circa £22,919 per annum (FTE circa £26,700 per annum)

Reporting to the Stroke Association Service Delivery Coach, the coordinator will work with the local Health and Social Care services to receive referrals and support stroke survivors and their carers. As a coordinator you will provide personalised information, advice and support with regular reviews throughout.
