Global Greengrants Fund (GGF) supports grassroots activists and civil society organisations around the world working to address environmental and social justice in over 160 countries.  GGF applies a participatory and decentralised model in making grants to grassroots groups through regional and thematic boards of advisors, global partner networks and independent funds, to support grassroots environmental and social justice action.

Global Greengrants Fund comprises two organisations located in the USA, Global Greengrants Fund Inc (established in 1993), and Global Greengrants Fund UK (established in 2012). The two organisations work closely together with a shared grantmaking programme and strategic collaboration at the senior leadership level. GGF UK consists of thirteen staff members working on fundraising and influencing philanthropy; finance; communications; and operations, with all of these functions operating autonomously but in close collaboration with their US counterpart functions.

The Role

Global Greengrants Fund UK is looking to hire an energetic and passionate individual who will play a key role in leading the finance function. The Head of Finance reports to the Director of Finance and Operations (DFO) and is responsible for the ensuring the smooth day to day operations of the finance function, including maintaining and ensuring accuracy of organisation's financial records, supporting all financial strategies and financial operations. They are responsible for all accounting, financial reporting and budgeting functions of the organisation, and with guidance ensures the organisation adheres to relevant regulatory and accounting principles. They work closely with the DFO to manage information exchange, integration and collaboration with our US sister organisation.  Playing a vital role in the finance function they ensure accurate financial data capture and high-quality financial reporting while driving automation and efficiency across financial processes. They will work closely and collaboratively with budget holders, particularly in programs and philanthropic partnerships teams, providing them with meaningful financial insight and advice.

They will also play a key role in understanding and managing program/project funding (both restricted and unrestricted) and collaborate with the Programme Funding Manager ensuring effective tracking of restricted and unrestricted income and expenditure within GGF.

The ability to leverage Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks and other financial tools (policies, processes and software) will be crucial in optimising our financial systems and improving processes.

The candidate profile.

The successful applicant will have significant relevant experience in a similar role in a charitable, environmental, development, social justice, feminist, gender, human rights organisation, and/or grant-making organisation. The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled and experienced finance professional with a relevant accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or AAT) experience in the charity or non-profit sector. They will value transparency and accountability, demonstrating strong critical thinking and, strategic risk management. They will have a deep understanding of UK GAAP accounting principles and a strong background in financial management, including budgeting, financial controls, grant processing, and audit preparation. Proficiency in financial systems, particularly QuickBooks Advanced or similar accounting software, as well as advanced Excel skills, is essential. The candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of prioritising workloads in a fast-paced and evolving environment. With a proven ability to oversee financial processes, implement automation strategies, and manage treasury functions, they will also be confident in providing financial insights and risk assessments to senior leadership. Experience working in an international organisation and knowledge of exchange rate risk management would be advantageous. They also thrive in a virtual environment, motivated to take on challenges and collaboratively find innovative and creative solutions. Multiple language skills would be ideal, while English fluency is a must.

In partnership with MOPAC, this specialist role is your chance to support victims of stalking with expert advice and advocacy for London, all while hlping to shape a trauma-informed, survivor-led approach that leads the sector.  The Stalking Threat Assessment centre is a multi-agency partnership involving the Metropolitan Police, NHS mental health services and Probation services to effectively manage stalking perpetrators and support victims.  Advocates within this team are co-located within the STAC unit, minimum one day a week.

About the role

As an Experienced Practitioner, you will provide direct support and care for our young people who have complex emotional and mental health difficulties (such as trauma and loss) and can struggle to regulate their emotions.

Join a high-performing, award-nominated fundraising team as a Supporter Engagement Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in a well-established charity that’s making a tangible difference every day.

As part of the Individual & Community Team, you’ll be central to building lasting relationships with supporters, helping to grow income streams across individual giving, in-memory and legacy donations, regular giving, lottery, and general fundraising. This role sits within the Supporter Engagement function, but its reach spans across stewardship, donor development, and communications.

About the Role

You’ll be the first point of contact for a wide range of supporters – from someone donating after a sky dive, to those giving in memory of a loved one. This is a deeply varied and people-focused role where emotional intelligence, empathy, and professionalism are key.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering high-quality donor care and stewardship

• Creating and supporting multi-channel fundraising campaigns

• Managing supporter journeys and communications

• Analysing campaign performance and suggesting improvements

• Supporting team-wide initiatives and cross-functional collaboration

About You

You’re empathetic, well-organised, and a confident communicator who thrives on building relationships. Ideally, you bring at least a year of experience in one or more areas such as regular giving, in-memory fundraising, supporter stewardship, or legacy giving. You’re just as comfortable crafting engaging email content as you are talking someone through how to set up a tribute page.

You’ll need:

• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills

• A good understanding of supporter care principles

• Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Beacon) and working with donor data

• The confidence to speak with supporters from diverse backgrounds with sensitivity and compassion

Our day centre service is currently open three days per-week offering respite, food and somewhere safe to be for anyone facing street homelessness. It provides advocacy and casework services to those who are vulnerably housed or homeless, supporting them to address their individual crisis and the underlying causes. We also provide a small year-round night shelter provision. 

APAP works in close partnership with a number of key agencies locally including drug and alcohol teams, street outreach services, local authority housing teams and the wider VCS. We are a gateway service in the community through which our clients can access a range of support. 

This role will require a keen interest in homelessness and the devastating impact this can have on people. This is a new role which would suit someone with experience of recruiting and managing volunteers. The role will entail expanding our volunteer base, developing processes and procedures to effectively support them and managing them on site. The role will report to the Senior Project Worker.

*Executing the fundraising strategy developed by the Head of Corporates and Trusts in relation to corporate partners, during the maternity period.

*Oversight and leadership of the income and expenditure budgets for the Corporate Business Unit.
*Identifying major prospects and the pursuit of these, with a view to raise considerable financial support, working to agreed targets.

*Working closely with senior colleagues and high-level volunteers to implement the strategy

As Head of Trusts and Corporates you will;

- Gain an in-depth understanding of current corporate partnerships and patronages at ENB and identify areas for growth, leading on the income and expenditure budgets for the Corporate Business Unit. You will also Support the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager to review and deliver the existing strategy for the Corporate Business Unit and be accountable for the programme's pipeline development, for the future

About You

You must have had;

*Experience of working with commercial organisations in a fundraising environment, with a track record of securing six figure support.

*Proven experience of line management in a fundraising department, supporting their professional development and providing inspiring and supportive leadership.

*Track record of growing income and pipeline development in the performing arts, cultural, higher education or third sector, in the UK.
