About the role

As one of two Regional Programmes Manager, you’ll inspire and lead a team of Senior Programmes Officers and Kinship Family Workers to effectively deliver high quality support services for kinship families across Greater London, the South of England and the Midlands.

You’ll do this by working in close collaboration with local authority teams who have commissioned our services and other funders where appropriate.

You’ll have accountability and ownership for ensuring we deliver impactful services for kinship carers and that we meet targets for our commissioned services. Working collaboratively with our other managers in other services, you’ll ensure we’re delivering high impact programmes.

You’ll ensure your team have real clarity and direction on their role and responsibilities - encouraging curiosity, learning and solutions-focused thinking. As a leader in the organisation, you are a key model for the team.

Your team will deliver the following programmes:

• Kinship Connected – in-person one-to-one support and support groups in the community
• Kinship Reach – remote one-to-one support and virtual support groups
• Kinship Ready – online workshops to prepare new and prospective special guardians for their role, as well as wraparound one-to-one support (in one local authority)

You will also manage a new role of Grants Officer - London, funded by the Aviva Foundation.

As one of our deputy safeguarding leads, you’ll be part of our key safeguarding structure.  This means you’ll take ownership to make sure our people feel confident and well supported to demonstrate best practice and making sure safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility.

Key responsibilities include:

• Oversee the day-to-day running of programmes, supporting mostly home-based Senior Programmes Workers and Kinship Family Workers to ensure high quality, consistent and impactful programme delivery.

• Meet performance targets as directed.

• Create and keep developing processes and systems which support consistency across all programmes, ensuring good quality documentation and manualisation on Notion.so

• Develop quality assurance frameworks with other service managers and directors.

• Support your team to establish and deliver in-person and virtual peer support groups regionally and generate engagement with kinship carers.

• Line management and supervision of Senior Programmes Workers and Kinship Family Workers as required.

• Actively encourage personal development and support staff to deliver key targets and outcomes and ensure high levels of wellbeing.

• Work with the Director of Services and Digital, Head of Programmes and the Business Development team to develop proposals and present to local authorities to secure commissions.

• Manage the delivery of commissioned contracts through collaborative relationships with local authorities, ensuring targets are met.

• Manage the programmes and services within budget, in accordance with Kinship’s financial procedures and ensure the reporting of progress in line with funder requirements.

• Work actively and positively with other managers within Kinship to ensure sharing of best practice, problem solving, relevant connections and consistency of delivery across England and Wales.

• Act as a deputy safeguarding lead at Kinship

Essential requirements include:

• Substantial experience in managing a regional service or programme with high quality outputs (national experience desirable but not essential).
• Substantial experience of managing, developing and evaluating effective and innovative services for families experiencing crisis and experience in reaching ‘hidden communities’ and a commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.
• Experience of leading and managing continuous improvement in changing contexts.
• Experience of governance and managing risk on high profile service delivery.
• Experience of ensuring that services are designed and led with user needs at the heart, ensuring that the voices of our kinship carers inform ongoing design and development of our programmes.
• High quality digital and data literacy and using technology to help us to be better in our processes. You’ll have to own Salesforce and be a massive champion for the team. You will be accountable for ensuring they use it well.
• Substantial experience of leading high-performing service teams including managing wellbeing, development and performance.

Involve has grown in terms of both its turnover and staffing headcount in recent years. We’re looking for a youth worker to lead our weekly educational youth club programme in Bournemouth. Delivered in partnership with International Care Network (ICN), sessions take place on a weekly basis between 4.30-7.30pm throughout the year including school holidays.

The role is six hours a week (three hours on a Wednesday at Club Class plus three hours a week for planning/prep/meetings).

Main purpose of the role:

The youth worker will plan, deliver and facilitate educational and cultural activities to separated children (16-21 years old) in the context of an interactive youth club held weekly in partnership with the ICN in Bournemouth. Although you will prepare and deliver the materials, you will be supported by our youth support worker and ICN support worker during the actual Club Class session. Plus one support worker from ICN and one staff member from Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole local authority (BCP LA) – usually a personal advisor or social worker.

Main duties:

• Research, plan and devise educational activities/classes for the weekly sessions based on our Club Class framework
• Deliver and facilitate the weekly Club Class with the support of our youth support worker and the ICN support worker.
• Source outside facilitators on occasion (on a voluntary basis) to deliver specialist sessions 
• Ensure sessions are young people-led and participants have an opportunity to input into future Club Class sessions using our participatory feedback mechanism 
• Provide emotional support and guidance to the group (please note this is not a casework role), referring individual young people to their case worker where one-to-one support is required.
• Ensure the highest level of safeguarding for the young people attending with adherence to The Separated Child Foundation’s safeguarding policy

Purpose of the post 

The Warehouse Supervisor plays an essential role in the smooth running of the Vale Lane warehouse, supporting all aspects of the food operation. 

You will work as part of a team to effectively support the warehouse operation, incoming goods, storage and dispatch of goods to Community Food Members (CFMs) to high levels of compliance and service. This role will include working with a large and diverse team of volunteers throughout the week.  

The role will be primarily based at our South Bristol warehouse, where alongside our usual food redistribution operation and volunteering programme, we run our youth employability programme FareChance for 18 to 25-year-olds to develop logistics and workplace experience.

Duties and responsibilities: 

Warehouse  

• Ensure the smooth running of food intake, storage, and food distribution, liaising with food industry representatives, FSUK, distribution companies and hauliers. 

• Support the South Bristol Hub Manager in coordinating and maintaining the fleet of vans and machinery. 

• Provide ongoing support to the South Bristol Hub Manager to ensure high levels of compliance in the warehouse throughout the year and for internal/external audits. 

• As part of the warehouse team, reduce waste and maximise the distribution of surplus food to members. 

• Report to the South Bristol Hub Manager with operational improvements to increase efficiency and implement agreed changes. 

Volunteers and FareChance  

• Oversee (under the direction of the South Bristol Hub Manager) FareChance participants, regular volunteers and corporate volunteers on warehouse shifts, delegating/assigning tasks, and supervising work to ensure all tasks completed effectively. 

• Support and train all FareChance participants and volunteers with their allocated warehouse/job-specific tasks/roles

• Supporting the FareChance participants’ and volunteer’s health, safety, and welfare during their shift. 

• Undertake continual professional development e.g. training in mental health, active listening, coaching, safeguarding, inclusive practice etc 

• Provide positive role modelling to FareChance participants and volunteers while undertaking warehouse tasks together. 

Goods In and Storage 

• Follow FSSW goods-in procedures including liaising with suppliers, completing relevant paperwork, using inhouse software and fork-lifting duties. 

• Ensure pickable and non-pickable areas are ready to receive good in and dispatch orders at all times. 

• Manage storage of stock within the warehouse, including: 

• Assisting with stock checks 

• Ensuring effective stock rotation and sharing best practice  

• Oversee the dispatch of goods through deliveries and collections ensuring all FSSW procedures are followed. 

• Liaise with the wider FSSW team and FSUK to report quality, quantities, and other issues.  

Compliance and Health & Safety 

• Operate according to the FSUK HACCP Food Safety Manual and FSSW compliance standards and processes.  

• Support the South Bristol Hub Manager to ensure compliance with relevant food hygiene, health & safety, and other standards applicable to FSSW premises, vehicles, refrigeration equipment, staff, and volunteers. 

• Undertake relevant training in food hygiene, safeguarding and health & safety 

General 

• Respond to/answer any enquiries/communications via telephone, email, in person or via inhouse IT/systems. 

• Engage positively with any visitors to the warehouse. 

• Support FSSW events. 

• Carry out any other duties that may reasonably be required in support of the main purpose of the role, including liaising with the wider FSSW team.

IPSEA is the leading charity in the field of special educational needs and disability (SEND) law in England, and we provide free and independent legal advice and support to families of children and young people with SEND. We also provide training on the SEND legal framework, and we influence policy at both a local and national level.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Trusts and Philanthropy Officer to join our small, ambitious fundraising team. IPSEA has a proven track record of successfully securing grants, and this is a new role designed to help strengthen and grow IPSEA’s income from charitable Trusts and Foundations. You will be responsible for researching new funding opportunities, preparing and submitting tailored applications and reports, and managing relationships with existing funders through thoughtful and timely stewardship. You will also support the early development of strategies in major gifts and wider philanthropy. 

This role is an opportunity to play a key role in our future fundraising strategy and help secure long-term financial sustainability for our services. 

You will work remotely, with occasional travel required for essential meetings approximately 4-5 times per year.

> Role Overview

The Festivals & Events Producer curates and executes a range of Symphony experiences—from intimate worship nights to large-scale gatherings like “Tribe: Festival of Hope.” You’ll balance creative vision with logistical precision to produce memorable events that highlight the talents of Black, Brown, and LGBTQ+ communities.

> Key Responsibilities

• Event Curation & Production

• Develop concepts, run-of-show, and themes for festivals, conferences, and special events.

• Manage vendor relationships, scheduling, budgeting, and on-site logistics.

• Creative Collaboration

• Work closely with Symphony Arts, Academy, and Campaign teams to align programming with our mission.

• Ensure each event fosters joyful, inclusive spaces for participants of all abilities.

• Budget & Resource Management

• Monitor production budgets, negotiate contracts, and streamline cost-effectiveness.

• Coordinate staff, volunteers, and freelance crews on event days.

• Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate with artists, speakers, and community partners, maintaining continuous feedback loops.

• Conduct post-event analyses to refine future planning.

Qualifications & Experience

• Demonstrated track record in event production, ideally within a performing arts or social-impact setting.

• Strong project management skills, comfortable with 3 days/week schedule.

• Ability to create inclusive, accessible experiences for diverse audiences.

Overview of the Projects Manager – South Asia role and the team

The Projects Manager – South Asia will join the projects team and interface with new and existing project partners in areas where the Church is persecuted and/or suffering. This role is responsible for identifying, evaluating and overseeing projects in South Asia that align with Barnabas Aid’s mission and objectives. It involves managing the entire project lifecycle, from proposal evaluation and grant administration to monitoring and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent organisational skills, and a passion for making a difference in the lives of suffering Christians through effective grant management.

This is a remarkable opportunity to make a tangible impact. Leading and inspiring a small team,
you will collaborate closely with the Head of Fundraising to create and execute innovative
fundraising strategies, while expanding key income streams, including regular giving, appeals, the
charity's weekly lottery, and gifts in wills.
The ideal candidate will possess:
 A proven track record of success in individual giving fundraising, encompassing some or all
of the following - legacies, regular giving, lottery schemes, and in memoriam donations.
 Management abilities, fostering a collaborative and positive working environment.
 Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on kindness and
responsiveness in all interactions.
 Creativity and a strategic mindset, with the ability to develop and implement successful
fundraising campaigns tailored to diverse audiences via newsletters, social media, website,
and supporter collateral.
 Confidence in handling financial data, with strong numerical acumen and the ability to
analyse and report on complex information.
 A solid understanding of individual giving fundraising legislation, regulatory codes of
practice, and other relevant laws and guidelines.
 Proficiency in Raiser's Edge database, with demonstrable experience in data extraction and analysis
