About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Support Worker (known internally as Duty Worker) to join the team. You will develop valuable skills and experience while playing a key role in providing support to St Mungo’s clients.
You'll be joining the growing teams across The Hammersmith and Fulham Housing Pathway, a Supported Accommodation Pathway which includes vital services such as semi-independent, gender specific safe spaces and services for people with complex support needs. This role is at The Coninghams, which is a 31 bed complex needs accommodation.
Our aim is to support people who have recently been sleeping rough, or who may be experiencing long term homelessness and work with them to develop the skills, networks and confidence to live independently in the community.
In this role you will jointly manage the safe day to day running of the project with other members of the team and provide basic support and advice to clients. You will be the first point of contact at Reception for clients and visitors and have the opportunity to maintain a welcoming and supportive environment within the project. You will coordinate Health and Safety checks and administrative duties while working alongside the team to provide a person centred support to residents and clients.
About you
This role is ideal for people looking to develop a career in the sector; a number of current Managers started their career as Duty Workers. In addition you will have:
- Some experience of dealing directly with the public and/or clients or customers in a busy service environment and good communication skills.
- Personal experience of homelessness and/or an understanding of and empathy with the issues faced by homeless or vulnerably housed people.
- A genuine interest in helping vulnerable people to make positive changes in their life, and the willingness to develop these valuable skills.

Your new role
- Support the Payroll Manager in providing an accurate and timely payroll service.
- Input data into the Payroll Systems to ensure that details of staff, ministers and pensioners, including tax codes, entitlements, NI and other deductions are correctly set up.
- Calculate final payments as notified by HR and send P45s by the contractual pay date following the employee's last day of service.
- Ensure all statutory and voluntary reductions are made correctly.
- Prepare and post payroll summaries to the nominal ledger and reconcile control accounts.
- Update and submit RTI submissions to HMRC and upload tax code changes, ensuring all data is correct.
- Produce monthly debit statements, deal with staff queries and provide payroll information to HR, HMRC and other government departments.

- Carry ou the annual payroll year-end routine, ensuring that the records reconcile with net pay, PAYE and other departments on annual returns.
What you'll need to succeed - CIPD qualified or equivalent / Qualified by experience.
- English and Maths GCSEs at grade 5 or above (or equivalent qualifications).
- Processing payroll: starters, leavers, changes, sick pay, maternity, deductions, shared parental leave, auto enrolment.
- Great communication (both written and verbally) with different stakeholders.

The post holder will be responsible for the Midlands area plus other areas as required with an expectation of completing in person visits across the allocated counties. About the Masonic Charitable Foundation
The Masonic Charitable Foundation (MCF) is one of the UK’s leading charities, providing a range of benevolent support to individuals and awarding grants to local and national charities.

DEBRA is seeking members for its Charitable Purposes Committee to inform to inform and develop the Charity’s evolving care and research strategy. Our Charitable Purposes Committee advises our Board of Trustees and is responsible for ensuring that the Charity’s resources are used effectively to support our provision of lifelong care and support for sufferers of the genetic skin disorder Epidermolysis Bullosa, and to support our investments in cutting edge research to find a cure for this debilitating condition.
Key responsibilities of the Charitable Purposes Committee are to:
- Review DEBRA UK’s Research & Care Strategy as it relates to research, health and community support and social policy on an ongoing basis.
- Receive and review reports from medical and scientific experts on current research activities.
- Determine, taking appropriate advice, the priorities for care and research expenditure each year.
- Oversee collaborative partnerships on care and research.
- Develop membership engagement, support and services.
- Review and develop healthcare initiatives to support member care.
- Receive reports on changes in national policy or practice within health and social care and agree appropriate responses from the Charity.
We provide any training necessary to allow you to fulfil your committee duties. This is an unpaid volunteer role, but any reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed in line with the Charity’s expenses policy.

Project summary - Species Recovery for Chalk Steams – Wilder Communities
Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust has secured a grant from the Species Survival Fund, a partnership between Defra and the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
The Species Survival Fund is enabling the Trust to deliver an ambitious restoration programme for our chalk river and wetland habitats across 11.15km of the River Lea Catchment in Hertfordshire. As part of the project, with additional funding, the Trust will be working in local communities to highlight the importance of our chalk streams and wetland habitats and enabling groups and individuals to take their own local action for wildlife.
This community organising work will initially focus on communities in and around Welwyn Garden City and Hertford.

The organisation have been commissioned by the London Borough of Waltham Forest to deliver high-quality, evidence based interventions to young people across the borough. The post holder will provide support for children, adolescents and their families who are experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties. They will deliver evidence-based 1:1 and group interventions across various sites in Waltham Forest. These interventions will employ the principles of the CYP-IAPT initiative. The post holder will develop partnerships with key individuals across youth services, CAMHs clinicians, and Education providers to support the development and improvement of children’s Mental Health Services in the borough.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide a thorough assessment of mental health needs in collaboration with young people and their families
• Take responsibility for managing own caseload, including group work.
• Work in partnership with Primary Mental Health, CAMHS, Schools and GPs
• Provide evidence-based mental health provision to children, young people and their families for mild to moderate mental health difficulties

Skills and Qualifications

As our ideal candidate you will have CIM/IDM or similar qualification, you have demonstrable end-to-end experience in developing integrated, multi-channel campaigns, including B2B and B2C. You'll have experience in setting objectives, tracking, and evaluating results and managing budgets.
You'll also have significant experience in partnership, corporate, or B2B marketing, as well as experience targeting high-net-worth audiences.
Additionally, you'll have experience of delivering marketing activity through a range of channels and creative formats including the production of TV, radio, outdoor, press and digital formats as well as direct marketing and mail pack production and scheduling Face-to-Face and Telemarketing channels.
With a strong understanding of managing brand campaigns and brand strategy, you’ll have proven project management ability, including working with agencies and a wide variety of teams and stakeholders, and will be a self-motivated, solutions-focused individual.
You’ll have strong influencing and negotiating skills with a sense of diplomacy and empathy and will be a flexible team player who shares knowledge and learning openly and strives to help others. Main Purpose of Job
To coordinate and lead the implementation and delivery of a sports, social and employability programme for Deaf & Disabled young people across West London.
The post holder will split their time between coordinating the project, and leading on delivery of the sessions, which will be a mixture of sports sessions, social clubs, and employability sessions, designed to prepare participants for the workplace.
Responsibilities will include
- To increase participation in sport for teenagers and young adults who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing or have a disability.
- To increase social opportunities for teenagers and young adults who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing or have a disability.
- To create and provide employability opportunities for Deaf/Hard of Hearing and disabled teenagers and young adults, including training courses and volunteering opportunities.
- Use Deaf/Disability-friendly communication to publicise and co-ordinate the Project.
- To help build the team of staff to effectively deliver the Project, including assisting with recruitment of new coaches and volunteers.
- Train coaches, support workers and partners in basic BSL and Deaf Awareness.
- To encourage partnership work across West London to ensure a coordinated approach to all Deaf and Disability activity participation across the region.
- To ensure monitoring reports are completed to a high standard and in a timely fashion, as per funder’s monitoring guidelines.
About You
You will have atleast two years’ experience of working with teenagers/young adults who are Deaf or disabled and previous experience in delivery Deaf or disability activity programmes. You will have a good understanfing ofthe issues faced by Deaf and disabled participants and their families related to activity provision and attendance.
You will have the ability to work to deadlines and have good time mangement. Good organisational skills are essential.

Mencap's advice service are looking for a Learning Disability Community Caseworker that specialises in delivering energy and money advice using video calling, telephone and email advice and face to face in the community.
This is a fixed term contract until March 2026, working 30 hours per week. We are flexible to where you do your work, but there will be an expectation of travel to our Peterborough office or community venues when needed.
Working with three other Energy and Money Advice Caseworkers - you will:
· Offer clear accessible advice to people with a Learning Disability, their families and carers.
· Manage a caseload of your own clients.
· Create, book and deliver workshops, events and webinars on Money and Energy Advice.
· Identify and undertake safeguarding alerts, following up on these and challenging them if necessary.
· Ensure that the caseworkers are at the right locations, with the right stock and equipment ensuring cost-efficient travel and venue planning/booking and excellent time management.
· Working with Subject Matter Experts in other nominated advice areas, to refer cases in and out of other parts of the team when the clients need more than Money and Energy Advice.
· Communicate effectively and accessibly, with empathy and clarity.
· Assist with the monitoring and evaluation of the project, capturing K.P.I's and flagging any slippage.
