Talent Acquisition Coordinator

Job Title: Talent Acquisition Coordinator

Location: Islington, London, Hybrid working with 2 days a week in the office and service visits regularly across London, Brighton, Luton, Bedford, Kent, and Liverpool. Once a month, the full People and Culture team have a collaborative office day on a Monday. 

Salary: £34,100

Shift Pattern: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00, with some flexibility around these hours for events, outreach, and ad hoc duties as necessary for organisational needs. This role is a fixed term contract, ending December 2025.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established Talent Acquisition team, supporting our hiring managers with all areas of hiring needs. You will report into the Talent Acquisition Partner and work closely alongside another Talent Acquisition Coordinator, and the wider People and Culture team. We are still developing the way we do things and continuously improving our efforts in recruiting the right people for the right roles within our organisation. There is an opportunity within the role to bring a wealth of new ideas and experience, to support us broaden our employer brand into localised and national communities. 

You will be responsible for the day to day coordination of talent acquisition activities, regularly liaising with hiring managers at all levels to understand their hiring needs, and create engaging campaigns to support them in attracting and recruiting the right people for their roles. You will support them with end to end recruitment, utilising our ATS Reach to enhance candidate experience and hiring manager processes. We are a fast paced organisation and at times you will be handling multiple priorities at once, you will be someone who is up for the challenge and able to organise your work schedule to meet the varying demands of the organisation. 

Your role will include:

  • Support with day to day recruitment, supporting managers in completing actions via our ATS, ensuring a positive candidate experience
  • Creating engaging job adverts which attract a high quality of candidates
  • Liaise closely with hiring managers to understand their needs, and reflect this in campaigns
  • Run recruitment campaigns to market SIG and the role to the correct market; utilising online and offline methods such as platform enhancing, social media, in person events, outreach, localised recruitment, community links, and building partnerships with external partners
  • Outreach and events - from research, to planning, to attending and post event administration
  • Headhunting candidates utilising job boards, social media, and other platforms necessary
  • Build an internal presence within the organisation, building sustainable relationships
  • Regular service visits to understand our hiring manager needs, our internal teams, and services
  • Using own Marketing knowledge and campaigning experience to further our jobs to be filled
  • Support with Onboarding

What we're looking for:

We are looking for someone who has a passion for what we do as an organisation, with a drive to support our frontline services to be at staffing capacity, with positive influence to our resident and participant group. You will have an understanding of the Social Care market, and be able to differentiate ourselves from competitors and other health and social care providers.

We're looking for someone who can think outside the box, bring new ideas, can be proactive in talent sourcing, and can produce high quality recruitment campaigns. You will be confident in filling niche roles, as well as general frontline care and support roles, and central office positions. 

  • Previous experience/depth knowledge of end-to-end recruitment/similar role/in house or agency recruitment
  • Ability to provide advice and guidance in line with employment law and equality acts
  • Working knowledge and experience managing an Applicant Tracking System or HR System
  • Previous experience in headhunting, and creating new initiatives to further successful recruitment campaigns
  • Knowledge, skills and ability to create engaging campaigns to improve quality of candidates for our roles which includes utilising various areas of Marketing online and offline such as improving platform reach, community reach, building external relationships and headhunting
  • Proactiveness and outgoing approach to work, ability to use initiative to resolve challenges
  • Attention to detail and quality, with organisation skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral including relationship building
  • Ability and willingness to work flexibly and attend regular visits to our different service locations and outreach
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple tasks and competing priorities within a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lead by example and share our values of Ambition, Empowerment, Inclusivity, and Transparency
  • Marketing background is extremely desirable
