• Serve as Global Dialogue’s Safeguarding Lead, ensuring that programmes are aware of our safeguarding policies and procedures, supporting them to implement safe practice, and ensuring that any safeguarding concerns are raised promptly and handled appropriately.
• Support the development of new business, particularly the emergence of new initiatives from our existing programme portfolio, but also when opportunities arise externally.
• Assist in the on-boarding and off-boarding of programmes joining and leaving the programme portfolio, in collaboration with other members of the leadership team.
• Connect regularly with external peers, share learning, and participate in sector-wide initiatives to advance our mission and the organisation. Represent Global Dialogue externally at conferences and events, and promote the organisation by sharing our successes, learning and innovation through online content, consistent with our communications strategy.

This role has been benchmarked at a UK salary of GBP 75,000 (pro rata for a part time position). Candidates based outside of the UK will be offered comparable compensation either through an Employer of Record or consultancy contract, depending on their location. The National Homicide Service is a fast paced, specialist team funded directly by the Ministry of Justice to provide exceptional trauma informed practical and emotional support every day. We currently have an opportunity for a Caseworker to join our Remote Working Team. This role is home-based working 37.5 hours per week

About the role:

The role of Homicide Caseworker is varied, demanding and rewarding; no two days are the same and you will thrive on this challenge. You will need to be extremely organised and able work independently and as well as being a pro-active, supportive member of a team open to developing your personal resilience.

You will work closely with the Major Crime Police Units, Senior Investigators and Family Liaison Officers, you will provide a pivotal role to support clients through the Criminal Justice System. You will provide support to families by phone and Zoom when their usual Homicide Caseworker is unavailable. You will complete needs assessments, and will coordinate and deliver a tailored package of support alongside our commissioned providers and other key stakeholders.

You will be driven to make a difference every day with the ability to focus on the needs of vulnerable service users. You will have resilience and adaptability; understand the importance of professional boundaries; have excellent listening skills and the ability to demonstrate empathy. You will enjoy the challenge of a busy caseload and will be able to demonstrate the excellent organisation skills essential to managing a demanding and diverse workload.

As a fully trained Homicide Family Caseworker you will be responsible for managing your own complex caseload to the highest quality standards. This role is part of our remote working team and so you will be home-based, however you will need to be able to travel to work meetings and to attend training as required.

Rights & Security International (RSI) is seeking a Team Leader on International Civic Space to help us take our international work to the next level, especially in Latin America and East Africa. The successful candidate will lead our engagement strategy across Global Majority countries while building and supporting coalitions around country-specific projects.

Role overview:

After two years of coalition-building with partners, we have developed a network of relationships with human rights activists and groups in El Salvador, Colombia, Brazil, Kenya, Indonesia, the Philippines and elsewhere. We are looking for a strong organiser and human rights advocate to continue building this network and help other groups organise to create impact.

We aim to facilitate civil society groups’ engagement with UN and regional human rights bodies, support grassroots-led research projects through small grants, and facilitate collaborations on shared advocacy projects.

This position reports to the Executive Director and supervises the work of the Eastern Africa Human Rights Assistant (EAHRA).

Person specification:

· Degree in law, human rights, public policy, international development or another relevant field.

· Fluency in spoken and written Spanish as well as English.

· A minimum of 4 years of experience in international human rights advocacy or relevant community organising, including at least some experience in building or leading coalitions.

· Experience in designing and implementing effective plans to achieve reforms.

· Familiarity with the social and political landscape of at least one country in Latin America.

· A record of drafting and publishing human rights analyses or advocacy documents.

· A strong commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace, and solid experience of work in multi-cultural environments.  

Optional qualifications:

· Expertise in one or more of the following areas: counter-terrorism issues, climate justice, migrants’ rights, or technology and privacy.

We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Digital Inclusion Community Builder to join our team of committed, value-driven people focused on mobilising community-led social change across Gloucester.

The Digital Inclusion Community Builder role is part of an exciting partnership, the 'Gloucestershire Digital Hubs Project' which aims to increase digital inclusion across all six districts in Gloucestershire, offering free, accessible, tailored support to individuals, facilitated by a group of seven partner organisations.  As the partner covering Gloucester, we aim to establish digital hubs in communities across the city, enabling people to access and use digital technologies to enhance their lives and participate fully in society. The primary focus is on addressing existing digital inequalities that prevent people from reaching their full potential.

Supported by our team of community builders, you will continue the work of facilitating the development of community-based digital hubs, leveraging existing connections, spaces, and organisations within local communities. Your role will involve understanding how digital tools can support and enhance people's existing skills and passions, as well as encouraging them to share their expertise through formal and informal volunteer roles.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Digital Inclusion and Community Engagement:

• Facilitate digital inclusion by building confidence and capacity within communities to take action for themselves.
• Encourage the use of digital tools and social networks to build connections within communities. 
• Develop strengths-based approaches to digital inclusion and engage with communities to understand their needs and aspirations.

2. Digital Hub Development and Support:

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of existing digital "assets" and community meeting spaces within Gloucester.
• Create, and work towards, an action plan outlining how communities can be encouraged to establish or build upon existing digital hubs, sharing good practices and ideas.
• Develop a training and skills plan to maximise the contribution of existing community builders, organisations, and volunteers, enabling mutual support within communities.
• Identify any gaps or specific training needs and leverage existing opportunities.
• Ensure existing hubs are supported.

3. Collaboration and Network Building:

• Work to establish a network for digital inclusion across Gloucester, fostering partnerships and collaborations with voluntary, community, and business organisations.
• Contribute to the countywide Digital and Community Hub Forum, ensuring consistent progress and momentum.

4. Digital Champion Volunteer Programme:

• Recruit, train, and manage Digital Champion volunteers to build sustainability across digital hubs in Gloucester.
• Provide ongoing support and create a welcoming and inclusive environment for volunteers.

5. Funding and Resource Support:

• Signpost and share knowledge between hubs on how to access funding for their ideas or projects.
• Support the development of a sustainable strategy for digital inclusion across Gloucester.

6. Monitoring, Evaluation, and Storytelling:

• Undertake risk assessments of all activities as required.
• Collect information on successes and lessons learned, contributing to the monitoring and evaluation requirements of the project.
• Help people share and celebrate their stories of success.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Area Support Coordinator to lead, manage and support teams of volunteers, develop, and maintain relationships with local services, and ensure that people living with and affected by MND receive an exceptional service, improved support, and are at the heart of our care initiatives.

A fundamental part of the role is ensuring individuals affected by MND receive tailored support. Your responsibilities will include leading and coordinating volunteer activities, developing branch and group capacity, and establishing new groups as needed.

A key focus will be understanding local needs and collaboratively planning, designing, and delivering support activities. You will build and maintain excellent relationships with our wonderful volunteers, care centres/networks, care coordinators and multi-disciplinary health and social care professionals, hospices, other partners.

We are in search of someone who can:

• Identify and address support issues by working with volunteers and individuals affected by MND.
• Guide collaboration within the branch and group network, fostering a supportive environment.
• Proactively manage the recruitment, selection, and induction of volunteers.
• Facilitate local learning, development, and networking opportunities for volunteers in collaboration with Association colleagues.
• Enable effective communication between volunteers, staff, and the wider Association, promoting a culture of collaboration.

This opportunity is home-based with travel requirements across Bristol, Gloucestershire, Bath, Northeast Somerset, North Somerset and Wiltshire.
