We are seeking an ambitious and dynamic Corporate Partnerships Executive to help deliver Carers UK’s growing corporate partnerships programme. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to account manage a diverse portfolio of partnerships from a range of sectors, including finance, insurance, retail, energy, and telecommunications. As a key player in our team, you will manager and develop these relationships, working closely with corporates to drive impactful partnerships that support unpaid carers.

This role is perfect for a self-motivated fundraising professional with experience of corporate account management, from either the charity or commercial sector.

This role is pivotal in maintaining the smooth operation of the Learning and Participation department, providing operational support and excellent customer service across its activities. The position involves close collaboration with our Schools, Community & Access Learning, Family Learning, and Guided Tours teams.

About You

Our ideal candidate will be logical and methodical, with experience of planning, administering, and developing processes. They will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work well as part of a team to deliver a high-quality service and project a positive image of Kew

They will be able to manage conflicting priorities and work at pace, being proactive in raising issues and suggesting improvements. Whilst already possessing excellent IT skills, they will be open to new ways of working, and quick to learn new processes.

As an operational role, this job is primarily onsite with some capacity to work from home, dependent on business needs.

As the Finance Analyst you will be responsible for the following duties:

• To work closely with the Head of Internal Operations on the required grant drawdowns requests including attending quarterly meetings with government bodies.
• To do a cash reconciliation of grant funds on a weekly basis to the bank & on a monthly basis between the bank and salesforce.
• To liaise directly with government bodies on quarterly claims.
• To prepare periodic updated annual re-forecast on management fees working with CEO/Directors.
• To complete quarterly reconciliations and ensure accurate repayment is transacted from Grant Funding.
• To produce monthly management reporting
• To work closely with the leadership Team to support any contract extension work or benefit realisation work allocated
• Previous experience working with government funding bodies will be highly beneficial
• Previous experience of using Xero will be beneficial

Back Up’s mentoring service is there to help. We know that peer support can have a life changing impact and our Mentoring Team are the ones who can facilitate this through matching them with a suitable mentor who will be able to support them over a series of phone calls to reach their goals. The Mentoring Team Leader leads the team through providing excellent line management and driving the delivery of the team’s business plans to empower the team to ultimately support more people affected by spinal cord injury

In addition to leading the team, a Mentoring Team Lead will assist in creating mentoring relationships and support mentors and mentees as appropriate, assess mentee suitability and provide support in the process of identifying, recruiting and training new mentors.

A Mentoring Team Lead will be motivated to achieve the aims, targets and milestones that have been set in terms of making quality matches and will be comfortable and efficient with data management and GDPR compliance.

Lived experience is an advantage; but most important is your sharing our commitment to transform the lives of everyone affected by spinal cord injury.

Strategic Funding and Co-financing Advisor

About the role:
As our dynamic Strategic Funding and Co-financing Advisor, you will oversee a portfolio of restricted funding projects, bringing donors closer to our work through engaging project proposals and reports. You will also act as the global focal point for your portfolio and proactively support country and fundraising teams to drive income growth through strategic advice and guidance.

This is a unique role within the organisation and will suit someone who thrives in a busy working environment with a varied workload. You will enjoy using your meticulous eye for detail and creativity to develop compelling materials that inspire donors and stakeholders.

You’ll also: 

• Oversee the project cycle, supporting project selection, bid development, and monitoring until closure.
• Provide quality assurance of internal and external project proposals and reports.
• Manage donor communications, tailoring content for diverse audiences.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with project staff and stakeholders across the WaterAid federation.
• Provide strategic guidance on funding priorities and programme needs, including managing a busy helpdesk that supports teams across the federation.

About you:

• Experience in project management and administration
• Knowledge of restricted funding cycles and budgets
• Excellent writing and IT skills, including Excel
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills

Although not essential, we also prefer you to have:

Are you passionate about volunteer engagement and making a real difference in the world of healthcare? The Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) is looking for an experienced Volunteer Officer to lead the way we attract, manage and recognise the invaluable work of our volunteer community.

We have over 2,000 volunteers that engage with us and refer to these individuals as ‘Contributors’. The Contributor Officer will be our Volunteer Lead and will work alongside the Head of HR on the engagement, management and retention of volunteers across the organisation. What you’ll do:

• Conduct regular business partnering meetings with RCR staff who have management responsibility for key Contributors, advising on how to manage, support and engage the group.
• Actively input into the development of the RCR’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and other relevant systems to ensure there is a single point of truth for all Contributor related data and that important information is recorded in an easy to access way.

Location: Central Services Office in Marlow

This is a newly created role which is being introduced to support the centralisation and future growth of the Trust. This hands-on role will be responsible for preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring all transactions and month-end processes are carried out, preparation of balance sheet, capital projects and fixed assets reconciliations , line management of finance officers and assistants, as well as oversight of accounts payable, accounts receivable and VAT returns. You will be involved in cash flow forecasting, treasury/banking processes, budgeting/forecasting process, monthly reporting, variance analysis and more. You will support the CFO and the Business Manager, and work closely with all schools’ leadership teams and Headteachers. 

The successful candidate will have previous financial experience and recognised accounting qualification, ideally in a school environment, and will be flexible and able to demonstrate an ability to adapt to a changing environment. You will be professional in your approach to all aspects of the role, extremely well organised, a team player and competent with accounting and procurement software, MsOffice and Google Suites.

The RCR is a professional membership body for Doctors who work in cancer care and medical imaging. Our examiners are clinical oncologists, clinical radiologists and other specialists, who work voluntarily as contributors developing exam questions, delivering assessments to candidates and shaping the future of FRCR exams. This role plays a vital part in ensuring that the clinical expertise needed to run the RCR’s exams is available via both UK and global examiners.

The postholder will have strong people skills with the ability to build good relationships, excellent communication and organisational skills will be key to your success. The post holder will be the first point of contact for potential new, and existing, examiners and will work closely with exam chairs and across all exam boards and committees, ensuring that examiners have the tools they need to deliver as an examiner alongside their clinical commitments, including alleviating any pain points. Examiner recruitment and coordinating induction and training - plus the set-up of meetings, events and panels - will form part of the workload.
