Key Purpose:
Contribute to the implementation and administration of RABI’s grant campaigns leading to a significant positive impact on the delivery of these services.

- Process grant requests and ensure timely and accurate payments.

- Liaise with partners to ensure a seamless delivery of services.

The Role
This is an exciting new role in a newly formed team, built to enable personalised and human connection with the Stroke Association’s Regional Fundraising supporters.

About the role
We are seeking a passionate and strategic leader to join our team as our new Head of External Affairs. In this critical role, you will develop and implement a comprehensive external affairs strategy aimed ensuring decision makers and influencers understand the impact of the challenges farming people face and continue to work with RABI to develop and implement solutions that building physical, mental and financial resilience. Significant experience in advising at senior levels and expertise in integrated external affairs, including drafting public affairs briefings and developing policy positions will be crucial. As well as an exceptional influencing and networking ability, alongside exemplary written and oral communication skills.
We need someone with experience managing teams through organisational changes and be open, confident, and collaborative in engaging with others. The responsibilities of this role will include:
1. Financial Management
- Be responsible for and run the organisation’s bookkeeping and financial management processes including invoices, expenses and bank payments.
- Produce and manage the organisational cash flow, project cash flows and management accounts.

- Compile and submit VAT returns quarterly.

The Business Development team leads and co-ordinates pilot service projects for RABI and runs the mental health training programme.
