We have a big ambition: to ensure that no parent in London feels alone and every child has the best start in life. Our network of 16 local Home-Start charities in the capital provides volunteer-led home visiting, group and other support to parents and carers with young children facing challenges such as social isolation, mental health difficulties, and poverty. Our work focuses on building new partnerships and securing funding, facilitating shared learning and more coordinated services, and amplifying the voices of disadvantaged families with young children to drive wider change. We are part of the national Home-Start movement. 

About the role

As Director, you will be the public face of an impactful and dynamic charity. You will ensure successful delivery of our strategy and lead on developing new partnerships that build financial sustainability of the charity and grow support for our wider network. Working with your small but mighty team and Home-Start staff and trustees across London, you will ensure we provide quality support to our network that drives increased impact. Your professional development and growth will be well supported.

Playskill is a Hertfordshire based charity supporting pre-school children with physical disabilities & delays and their families. Across two sites in Watford and Hemel Hempstead, our work helps to build family resilience in the pivotal early years of a child’s life. Our specialist early intervention work delivering multi-disciplinary therapeutic play sessions, parent training/modelling, family social respite events and family support provides holistic family centred work aiming to build foundational skills for life. 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Paediatric Physiotherapist to work in an interdisciplinary team alongside an Occupational Therapist, Speech and Language Therapist, specialist workers, family support workers and the families/carers of the children within groups in Hemel Hempstead on Fridays. 

As a Clinical Care Manager, you will also play a pivotal role in overseeing the clinical operations within the charity. Providing strategic direction and leadership to therapy teams, ensuring alignment with the charity’s mission and goals including the recruitment, training, and performance of therapy staff; fostering a supportive and effective work environment. You will be responsible for ensuring that our children and families receive the highest standard of care while supporting our dedicated team of therapists.

This role requires an experienced physiotherapist with excellent organisational and communication skills, as well as a deep commitment to service delivery, clinical governance and quality improvement to ensure the highest standards of care. You must be able to engage with other agencies to ensure collaborative practice for best therapeutic outcomes. Overall Purpose

To work and lead on setting clear standards for high quality gathering, recording, monitoring and use of data collected via our grant’s programmes and initiative, accessing this data to inform donor grant reports, infographic data sharing, donor reports and network reporting in an accurate and transparent way. Reporting to the Head of Impact you will be technically proficient in monitoring data use of the CRM systems. You will also work directly with the Senior Leadership team on initiatives requiring evidence of impact and return on investment. Responsibilities

To lead on the accurate recording, management, and accessibility of data gathered through the Foundations programmes and initiatives via our Salesforce CRM system and future platforms, including potential Social Value and Social Return on Investment models.

Support the grants team in recording and maintaining accurate data, ensuring records are complete, up-to-date, and compliant. Conduct routine system checks and regular data cleansing as required.

Support monitoring received from grantees, helping extract key data and learning, checked by Head of Impact.

Provide support to Head of Impact with Salesforce CRM training to internal teams to enhance data usage and impact measurement.

Performance Management

Collect, analyse, and present relevant data on a quarterly basis to support donor reporting.

Produce data driven reports aligned with the Donor Care Plan, ensuring accuracy in evaluation, impact measurement, and End of Grant reporting (quality checked by Head of Impact).

Develop and submit annual data reports for platforms such as 360 Giving, FREA (Funders for Race Equalities Alliance), IVAR and other partnership platforms aligned to BLCF work including UK Community Foundation Quality Assurance.

Provide insights and key learnings that demonstrate the effectiveness of grantmaking, inform strategic decisions, and highlight return on investment.
 

Relationship Management

Regularly connect and engage with wider Community Foundation network to ensure BLCF’s data systems remain fit for purpose and aligned with sector best practices.

Participate in cross-foundation learning initiatives to stay updated on trends in data-driven grantmaking and impact measurement.

Work with the Head of Business Development to provide insights from donor trends and grant impact data, supporting fundraising and partnership strategies.

Representing the Organisation

Maintain a strong understanding of community and charity sector issues to inform BLCF’s data strategy and grantmaking approach. Ensure relevant insights are shared across the team.

Develop and maintain an appropriate network of contacts within the grantmaking sector across BLCF’s geographic reach.

Serve as a BLCF ambassador, promoting the Foundations values and impact through data storytelling and sector engagement.

Be an ambassador for the work of the Foundation by demonstrating its values in the delivery of its work.

The Role

This is a new role within the communications and engagement team, with responsibility for helping our members to campaign and secure improvements to regional transport accessibility. The role is part of our work to achieve justice in society, where disabled people’s voices are amplified, and our message is heard and acted upon.

You will work across the north of England, mirroring the regions covered by the Sub-national Transport Body ‘Transport for the North’. You must live in this region to apply and undertake this position.

You will collaborate with Transport for All members, disabled people’s organisations, and civil society organisations, bringing disabled people together to share our views on accessible transport and make change. Where campaigning is already taking place, you will work alongside it, offering resources and practical support as desired.

You will need to stay abreast of transport developments in your region, and work closely with other teams to share your insights. This will ensure local disabled people’s experiences guide the national agenda.

Key responsibilities

1. Planning and development (10% of time)

· Plan regular activity across your region, considering staffing, budget, and wider organisational requirements

Job Outline:

CFAB is a national charity and the UK branch of the International Social Service network. CFAB’s social work team helps to resolve cases involving child protection, children in care, unaccompanied children, and vulnerable adults when the case crosses international borders. CFAB social workers and caseworkers offer advice and guidance to individuals and local authorities and help to link social work services between the UK and other countries.

The main purpose of this role is to assist with the day to day running of the CFAB Advice Line and manage a caseload of allocated inter-country cases originating from the UK or overseas.

Key responsibilities:

Finance

· Code and process purchase invoices, staff expenses and obtain authorisation of expenditure as per financial procedures manual.

· Save copies of the Approval Max pdf’s in the Purchase folder.

· Prepare sales invoices to customers on the receipt of instruction from the social work team and email copy of invoice to customers.

· Liaise with the social work team to ensure sales invoice requests are generated for all Opportunities raised in Salesforce.

· Update Salesforce to reflect processed sales invoices.

· Maintain records of sales and purchase invoices in accordance with CFAB’s policies and procedures

· Banking of cheques received.

· Perform credit control duties according to the financial procedures manual.

ABOUT US

MaidEnergy is a renewable energy Society, which supports the growth of renewable energy infrastructure projects for the benefit of the local community. Thanks to National Lottery players, we are expanding. 

MaidEnergy supports the growth of locally generated and locally owned renewable energy in Maidenhead, Windsor, Egham, Staines and the surrounding area. We are a community business, democratically run, with an asset lock to preserve the solar panels or other energy generation infrastructure for the benefit of the community.

We launched our first renewable electricity generating community Solar Photovoltaic (PV) share offer in 2015. Since then people have demonstrated their faith in us by investing £970,000. Their investment has funded eight Solar PV installations totalling 640kW and a 60kW Ground Source Heat Pump. These installations have brought low carbon, lower priced renewable energy to public organisations and seen 260 local and national investors join a movement of ethical and financially rewarding community ownership.

MaidEnergy works by:

· Finding community buildings that are interested in cutting carbon emissions

· Raising community finance from people in the local area and throughout the UK, through the issuing and managing of community share schemes, to fund installations

· Providing all relevant legal documents and arranging grid export capability

· Managing the installation and all ongoing maintenance

· Working with sites to maximize financial, environmental, and community benefit

If you are right for this role, you will be a committed, motivated, and outgoing individual who wants to support the sexual and reproductive health (SRH) of young people living in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, working in a partnership capacity as part of a holistic health and wellbeing programme. Your role will be multi-faceted, and you will therefore be flexible and able to offer a variety of SRH interventions in a broad range of settings, to a broad range of young people.

First, you will provide brief interventions in sexual health in an outreach capacity at schools, colleges, universities, leisure centres, youth organisations, and other venues. Here, your primary focus will be to provide basic information about SRH to young people, whilst also encouraging them to complete a Chlamydia screen and register to the free condom scheme. You will also promote online testing for those aged over 18, and connect young people with other local sexual health services through referral and signposting.

Second, you will deliver SRH and relationships training to groups of young people and professionals, in smaller workshop settings as well as to larger groups. You will be able to deliver accurate information on a variety of topics that are often sensitive and complex. You will have an existing knowledge base that you will be willing to expand and solidify through a combination of supported training and independent learning.

Third, you will facilitate offsite drop-in sexual health sessions and offer 1:1 sexual health support to young people who attend any of the four Young Greenwich youth groups. You and your team will each be responsible for attending the four Young Greenwich hubs once each week during evening hours, working closely with the youth group leader as well as the young people themselves to establish trusted relationships and an engaging programme of activity. You will be proactive and creative at integrating sexual health to other, ongoing activities, and ensure effective safeguarding.

Additionally, you will work closely with the wider SHO team, including supporting the sexual health phone lines processing screening results, and where necessary, signposting to relevant services. Across all aspects of your role, you promote local sexual health and contraception services to young people and adults alike, referring to in-person or online services as appropriate and handholding as much or as little as needed, particularly to those most vulnerable. You will keep accurate monitoring records for all interactions, referrals, Chlamydia screens, and C Card registrations / distributions. You will also contribute to quarterly service review reports.

This role requires flexibility, working unsociable hours in the evenings, and occasional weekends. Schedules may vary from week to week depending on programme need.

Community Outreach: Engage with members of the local community, supporting existing outreach projects and helping develop new initiatives.
