The Role

Reporting to the Service Delivery Coach in the East of England, you will have the ability to support stroke survivors to identify their goals. Using strong assessment skills and a person-centred approach enabling them to maximise their recovery and improve communication.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting new stroke survivors and their carers from hospital discharge into the community.

• Supporting a diverse caseload including anyone experiencing communication difficulties via a combination of face-to-face visits or meetings, telephone calls, emails or letters, and digital methods (such as video calls)

• Providing personalised information, advice and support. 

• Enabling stroke survivors to make informed lifestyle changes which will help them to prevent further strokes.

• Working with other health and social care professionals across the stroke pathway to ensure high quality support.

About You

You will have experience in:

• Experience/ background in a caring profession, ideally supporting people with disabilities

• Excellent IT skills and an ability to maintain accurate records.

• An affinity with the values of the Stroke Association.

• A flexible approach and an ability to effectively manage a caseload.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Programms & Communications Manager to support our events, marketing, website management and membership functions. This role requires a dynamic individual who is detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities, and experienced in project coordination. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, problem-solver, and self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Project Management/ Event Management

  1. Managing and coordinating BIMA events, iftar, events, dinners, charity health promotions.

  2. Coordinate local network projects/ activities for Luton Muslim Health Alliance and London Muslim Health Network, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met. 

  3. Track project progress, and provide status updates to Senior Management Team.

  4. Support logistical requirements of the events, this may include but not limited to printing, refreshments, liaising with venues, volunteers, stakeholders.

  5. Facilitate team meetings, document minutes, and follow up on action items.

  6. Evaluating and completing written reports on the projects and deliverables. 

• Marketing Management

  1. Assist in the execution of marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media, and content creation.

  2. Content creation and curation, working with a marketing agency, ensuring consistency with branding and messaging.

  3. Collate marketing materials, ensuring consistency with branding and messaging.

  4. Maintain marketing databases and mailing lists.

  5. Management/ Engagement on Social Media Platforms. 

  6. Assist with promotional activity for BIMA events.

  7. Creating an evergreen campaign on membership growth.

  8. Marketing Administration

• Membership Onboarding

  1. Reviewing and processing membership sign ups via the website.

  2. Reviewing and processing members on BIMA’s whatsapp community.

  3. Maintain and deliver professional customer service for membership queries.

• Administration

  1. Supporting BIMA teams and colleagues in organising and delivering projects and events, this may include but not limited to email management, marketing and promotion, database management and logistical support.

  2. Support senior leadership in administration and management of the email inbox.

Person Specification

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field, such as event management or project management

• Demonstrated expertise in marketing, event planning, and website management, with a track record of successful campaigns and initiatives.

• Exceptional writing skills with the ability to create compelling, persuasive, and well-structured content tailored to diverse audiences.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in English at a professional level.

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and ensuring high-quality outcomes.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.

• Experience with website management platforms (e.g., WordPress) is highly desirable.

• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment, demonstrating adaptability and problem-solving skills.

• Highly self-motivated and proactive, with a strong drive to take initiative and achieve goals.

The Project Manager will play a vital role in furthering BIMA's mission to serve the Muslim healthcare community in the UK.

About the role

We seek an experienced Business Development Manager to drive our UK growth and expand our client and partner base. Reporting directly to the CEO, (initially) you will lead our sales strategy targeting UK businesses, with a particular focus on small and medium businesses, and public sector organisations. 

With a proven track record in generating revenue through outbound marketing, online channels and relationship-building, as well as developing new revenue-generating business models, you will be hands-on in driving our B2B sales, securing over £150,000 annually through direct sales, grants, tenders, contracts and partnerships. You will also contribute to developing engaging communications to support The Human Edge's financial growth and brand development.

• Execute the sales growth strategy aligned with organisational goals
• Proactively identify and ensure new business opportunities, partnerships and collaboration

About you

Skilled in securing new business, developing growth strategies and building long-term client relationships, you leverage your established network of HR/talent leaders and Managing Directors in UK businesses, with a particular focus on small and medium businesses, and/or public sector to enable consistent revenue growth.

Your role in our mission:

InPhase is a new platform at Marie Curie and is a comprehensive system used across various departments, including Caring Services and Retail, for managing incidents, complaints, concerns, compliments, and feedback.

Our InPhase Administrator will play a key role in supporting the efficient use of our InPhase system. You'll be responsible for managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting the system, ensuring that it runs smoothly for the whole organisation.
