Support Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team in South Warwickshire, including Rugby.  We’re looking for enthusiastic, motivated and well organised individuals to join the team in delivering a comprehensive Stroke Recovery Service across the region.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to support them following a stroke.

Position: S11267 Stroke Support Coordinator

Location: Home-based South Warwickshire, including Rugby. However, extensive travel will be required as part of this role (will include team meetings and other work-related meetings)

Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week

Salary: Circa £27,435 per annum 

Contract: This is a fixed-term contract until 31 March 2026. Services are contracted and there is currently funding for this contract until 31 March 2026.

The Role

Reporting to the Stroke Service Delivery Coach, the coordinators will work with the local Health and Social Care services to receive referrals and support stroke survivors and their carers. As a coordinator you will provide personalised information, advice and support with regular reviews throughout.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Working with the local Health and Social services to receive referrals to support stroke survivors and their careers.

• Providing personalised information, advice and support to address any needs identified.

• Completing Needs Assessments with stroke survivors and supporting them to develop a stroke recovery plan.

About You

You will:

• Have a background in a caring and/or charity profession supporting people with disabilities.

We Are Survivors are looking for an experienced therapeutic manager to come and join our Community Team to help us support survivors and their supporters across Greater Manchester.

You will help us to provide key services across Greater Manchester. The Community team is made of therapists, group, and community workers to support men and boys to access the services they need. About the Role

EduSpots is seeking a Global Philanthropy Manager—an engaging, dynamic, and proven fundraising specialist who will play a key part in our next phase of growth. As we continue to expand, we need an individual with a track record of securing income from trusts and foundations, ideally at the 5- to 6-figure level (GBP), and the ability to cultivate new funding partnerships.

In the past two years, we have doubled our income and expanded our programmes significantly. Essential

• Knowledge of a broad range of UK-based funders and some familiarity with international (European/US) funders.

• Understanding of programme development and management, ideally in an education context.

• Some experience in communications/marketing within an NGO setting.

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead and grow our national family support services for disabled children, young people, and their families. As Head of Advice, Information and Family Support, you will be responsible for the strategic development, delivery, and quality assurance of a broad portfolio of non-clinical family services—ranging from emotional and practical support to peer networks, parenting guidance, and tailored one-to-one interventions.

You will be a confident leader with extensive experience managing family-facing services, ideally within health, social care, or community settings, and possess a strong track record of working closely with commissioners and local authorities to secure funding and shape service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership and Service Development

• Lead the strategic development of our national family support services, ensuring they are responsive, evidence-informed, and outcomes-focused.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Dementia UK as a Clinics Administrator, providing administrative support to the Clinics team and the wider Delivered Services function.

Working closely with the Clinics Programme Lead and the Clinical Operations Support Manager within the Clinical Effectiveness team, the postholder will support the day-to-day running of various administrative processes and procedures, ensuring safe and effective service delivery to beneficiaries. This will involve liaising with both internal and external stakeholders as required.

As the first point of contact for all queries relating to the Clinics team via email, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the online clinics featured on the Dementia UK website. You will set up and maintain online booking systems to support Delivered Services clinic programmes, which are currently undergoing significant expansion. The role will also involve booking travel, accommodation and venues for clinics and related activities, as well as completing finance processes in support of associated expenditure.

To succeed in this role, you will have demonstrable experience in administrative support roles and managing booking systems, be a clear and logical thinker, with experience in developing and implementing processes. You will be highly proficient in using Office 365 and able to produce high-quality documents, including complex reports and correspondence. Experience in project management and the use of project management software would also be an advantage.

Bridge 5 Mill is a centre of social change in a historic 5 storey mill on the edge of Ancoats, comprising workspaces and event spaces. Our unique sustainable and ethical approach characterises our building and drives all our activities. Bridge 5 Mill is part of a family of organisations including the Kindling Trust, promoting ecological and social justice through a broad range of projects. 

We have just secured funding to fix our broken lift. This is great news, as the period without a lift had a significant impact on our community of tenants, wider users and also therefore, on our income from venue hire (with much less events able to take place during this time). This came on the tail of the Covid pandemic, which transformed how and when people use workspaces and events spaces. The funding means we are now at a pivotal time to rebuild both our events program and our offer as a beautiful, ethical and central venue to hire, as well as exploring how to diversify our services.
