Group FP&A Manager | £450 - £500 per day (Umbrella) | Hybrid | London | 6-months +

For a large international organisation, we are recruiting an Interim Group FP&A Manager who will coordinate and produce consolidated financial plans, budgets, and forecasts. The Group FP&A Manager will contribute to planning activity and data across Finance, working closely with Regional Finance Directors to ensure consistency of all planning and forecasting. This role will report to the Director of Group Planning and Reporting and will lead, manage, and motivate a Financial Planning Analyst. This role is for a minimum of 6-months and could be extended.

Main Duties:

• Provide a financial planning, forecasting and management reporting service in the UK, Regions, and international business units across Group level.

We are looking for an experienced Prospect Research Manager to join the Strategic Relationships and Philanthropy team. You will provide exceptional prospect research support and maximise fundraiser portfolios to drive income growth which will help create a world without barriers for blind and partially sighted people.

What you'll be doing:

In this role, you'll work closely with the Senior Manager Prospect Research to effectively implement the pipeline management strategy. You'll ensure prospect and donor portfolios are properly qualified, dynamic and allocated appropriately. You'll be responsible for delivering a high-quality research service and you'll take a leading role in managing some of the research projects, such as sector work, network mapping, due diligence and prospect identification.

What you'll need to succeed in this role:

This role will suit someone with an eye for detail, strong interpersonal and communication skills, who is proactive and comfortable providing insight and sharing new ideas and best practice.

You will have:

· Significant experience of delivering high standards of prospect research within a fundraising context, including proactively identifying prospects from a variety of sources.

The Global Safeguarding Team work together with business delivery units to manage and mitigate safeguarding risks across the organisation. 
 
This role is specifically focused to support the Cultural Engagement (CE) business unit and has a dotted line to the Cultural Engagement Operations team. CE brings together our work in arts, education, English & School Education and research. With a workforce of approximately 1000 globally and an income in 2023/24 of over £230 million, CE delivers impact through research and insight, sector engagement, policy dialogue and a mixed portfolio of commercial and non-commercial work globally.  

The purpose of the CE Operations function is to set and support an operating environment that enables CE to efficiently deliver the CE global business plan. It focuses on enabling teams to embed ways of working, good practice, continual improvement and to demonstrate compliance.
 
The Role:
 
As Safeguarding Manager, you will lead the implementation of the British Council safeguarding framework and resources across all Cultural Engagement programme delivery and ensure practice is aligned with the global Safeguarding policy and strategy. 
 
As part of this, you will lead the development of fit for purpose resources that can be practically and usefully embedded within the Cultural engagement project/programme lifecycle.

• Based on the British Council global safeguarding case management policy, provide support and guidance to global cultural engagement staff to report and manage incident-based risks. 

 
There will also be collaboration with an extended team consisting of Cultural Engagement teams covering Risk, Internal Communications, Media, Employee Relations and Reward, Contract Management and Legal.

Requirements of the role:
•    Experience of working in an international development context and in an international (matrix) organization
•    A sound knowledge of international safeguarding standards and service delivery within statutory and non-statutory settings 
•    Experience of creating, managing and implementing safeguarding frameworks and tools for project and programme management

You’ll play a key role at Share, making sure the day-to-day management of the CEO’s office is organised and productive, and that all matters are dealt with in a professional, efficient, and sensitive manner. You’ll support fundraising at Share, so we can do more great work supporting our students. You’ll conduct research and compile data to support decision-making and help demonstrate the impact we make.  

Main responsibilities  

• You will provide support to the CEO on strategic and improvement projects 

• You will provide high-level and comprehensive executive support to the CEO, including efficient coordination of meetings and other appointments on behalf of the CEO  

• You will liaise with Share’s board by taking and producing Share board minutes and supporting new trustees 

• You will provide support with fundraising and provide data about our students to support fundraising applications 

• You will work with the CEO and working parties to organise annual events such as the Share awards

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for an Apprenticeships Service Administrator to support the apprenticeship provision within Harris Federation Central Head Office.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the apprenticeship team and support by managing administration and providing essential support to apprentices across the Harris Federation. Key responsibilities include the organisation of Apprenticeship events, maintaining individual learner records (ILR), data analysis, and managing the virtual learning platform and MIS. Additionally, there will be a requirement to assist line managers and staff members with Apprenticeship queries.

A primary focus is on onboarding learners and maintaining accurate enrolment records, contributing to the effective delivery and evaluation of apprenticeship programs across the Federation.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Reporting to the Apprenticeship Manager you will be responsible for:

General Administration and Apprentice Support

• Supporting Harris Federation as a main provider, ensuring all apprentice data is accurate and up to date
• Preparing and updating PowerPoint presentations to promote apprenticeships
• Organising and promoting apprenticeship events and information sessions
• Supporting the promotional/marketing strategy to drive apprenticeship applications and delivery
• Organising and managing information days for prospective learners / students and supporting the recruitment to various apprenticeship programmes
• Maintaining responsibility for monitoring and updating records on the DAS (Digital Apprenticeship Service) system and other data system trackers
• Maintaining apprenticeship records, including the apprenticeship tracking system, producing reports to monitor enrolment, completion rates, and levy usage
• Helping to maintain the EOSONE learning platform to ensure accurate data and the declaration of our monthly ILRs (individual learner records)
• Supporting the implementation, procurement, quality assurance and evaluation of the apprenticeship offer to support business objectives
• Data analysis and preparing regular reports on performance of various programmes

Management Information System (MIS)

• Managing and actively updating EOSONE learning platform to ensure all the learner portfolios are up to date including off the job
• Supporting with the on-boarding of learners on the Harris Federation main provider provision and the completion of relevant enrolment documentation, procedures, and guidance

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We would like to hear from you if have:

• The ability to establish a new role in the Harris Federation and work collaboratively with key stakeholders to deliver successful apprenticeship programmes
• Strong project management skills with experience of complex projects with multiple stakeholders
• Experience of working across a large organisation, developing and delivering initiatives and maintaining stakeholder relationships
• Ability to travel to Federation Academies as required
• Experience of working with various MIS within the FE sector and working with the third-party service provider to ensure the platforms are user friendly and up to date
• Supporting with ongoing design, configuration, and maintenance of the ‘EOSONE learning platform’ working together with the third-party service provider to ensure the platform is user friendly

Hither Green Service (Spring Gardens and Hilda House) is a busy, flagship service which provides you with the opportunity to join a specialised and committed team supporting 68, multiple excluded, highly vulnerable adults with complex needs in Lewisham. 

Working as a Night Support Assistant, you will provide a first point of contact to clients at night; being responsible for:

• Dealing with emergencies, undertaking regular wellbeing checks, monitoring the CCTV system for incidents and health and safety concerns.
• Working with the shift lead you will be responsible for undertaking tasks on the night shift task list and supporting the day team with client interventions handed over. 
• Reporting incidents or maintenance issues and communicating concerns or events to the rest of the team.

You will be able to communicate in a sensitive, assertive and nuanced manner that builds trust and effective working relationships with residents who are experiencing issues including substance and alcohol addiction, poor mental health, offending behaviour and histories of abuse.
