We are looking for a Finance Manager with experience in contract negotiation to join our  Senior Management Team (SMT) for two days a week.  We have a track record in successful grant applications and are looking to generate income from the delivery of services.

We want to find someone who can use their financial and analytical skills to support our SMT in growing our Charity to support residents in Lambeth. The postholder will be supported by our Finance Officer in delivering our finance operations.

PMRGCAuk is a small national charity dedicated to supporting people affected by polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR) and giant cell arteritis (GCA). Mind in Camden has the exciting permanent opportunity to recruit people to work on our leading Hearing Voices Projects.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to take responsibility for the day-to-day work of our innovative Hearing Voices Projects. To be successful in this role, you need to have an in-depth understanding of the Hearing Voices Movement and the role of peer support groups within this. You will ideally have experience of supervising or mentoring volunteers and some project management experience.

With the confidence and organisational skills necessary to take the lead on busy and diverse projects, you will be required to engage with a wide range of stakeholders (from the adult mental health, prison, forensic and youth sectors). As such, this role is best suited to someone who is flexible enough to modify their approach to suit the situation.

We are looking for someone with strong facilitation skills who is able to deliver and design training that communicates the values of the Hearing Voices Network clearly and accessibly.

Among other tasks, you will be required to:

• Oversee the current Hearing Voices Projects to ensure they are consistent and embody the Mind in Camden and Hearing Voices Movement ethos.
• Be part of some of the frontline work, including facilitating groups.
• Build networks and deliver training sessions for the Hearing Voices Projects.

About the team

As part of Mind's strategy, we have set out an ambition to address the stark and persistent inequalities in mental health access, experience, and outcomes, with a focus on those most at the margins (our equity priorities - racialised communities, young people, and people experiencing poverty). Our equity priorities are the golden thread through all of our equity work. This strategy requires us to focus our external work on four areas - improving support, changing systems, addressing stigma, and building equitable partnerships.

As Strategic Lead for Young People, you will lead our work to better support young people's mental health, with a focus on trauma. You will manage the Young People's mental health team to drive development and delivery of our initiatives and programmes focused on young people, including our Youth Voice Network. You will work across the organisation and with local Minds and external partners to understand challenges and barriers to young people's mental health and identify opportunities for Mind to address these, e.g. through partnerships and innovation, collaborating with key stakeholders, internally and externally, to develop and mobilise solutions.

You will do this through lived experience leadership, coproduction and engagement with relevant audiences. You will provide oversight and challenge to delivery teams across the Federation to ensure that we maximise our impact for young people.

This role is located within the Mental Health Equity team within the wider Social Impact Directorate to provide strategic insight and oversight, and ensure an intersectional approach to addressing mental health inequities.

Key duties and responsibilities

The post holder will:

-Continuous development of Mind's strategic plans for supporting Young People with a focus on trauma. Ensure the plans maximise Mind's impact and innovation across the Mind federation and enable us to reach our strategic ambitions.

-Work with colleagues across the Mental Health Equity team to deliver the support offer to the network and assess for good practice, focussed around using the Advancing Mental Health Equalities strategy as a starting point

-Management of the young people's mental health team

-Lead on the co-ordination & co-design of flagship CYP delivery at both a local and national level, working in partnership with Federation Innovation colleagues, fundraising teams and others across the Federation to develop new programmes and services and leverage funding

-Ensure that young people's lived experience informs & guides Mind's work at both a local and national level so that young people with lived experience are actively involved in the planning, development and delivery of Mind's strategic plans

-Work with colleagues across the organisation to build capacity around effective partnerships in relation to CYP, with a focus on complex partnerships.

-Ensure the widespread sharing and scaling of learning and effective models of support across the Mind Federation, contributing to continuous improvement.

-Being an external spokesperson for CYP work at Mind

-Regularly review performance against targets and budgets (including re-forecasting), providing regular activity and financial reports for the management and governance teams and funders, detailing delivery against outcomes and targets

-Ensure all CYP programmes reach across diverse communities, with a focus on poverty and racialised communities, and that the views of people with experience of mental health problems inform and guide work.

We’re looking for a part-time Grants and Trusts Officer (2.5 days a week). Office or home based, they will be a vital member of our fundraising team, working closely with programme staff and the CEO to continue to grow grant funding for our work – shaping funding bids, managing grants and reporting, and building relationships with funders and funding networks. 

Purpose of role:

Increasing and diversifying the sources of grant funding for A Rocha UK’s work is key to our fundraising strategy. The Grants and Trusts Offi cer will play a key role identifying, securing, and managing grants from a range of sources, including small trusts, large foundations, and Church denominations. In doing so, they will work closely with programme staff , CEO and Finance Director to develop funding bids, and coordinate closely with other members of the fundraising team, such as the Major Donor Offi cer. About the role

The Marketing Lead (Membership and Events) is responsible for leading on the marketing activities for the Association’s income generating products and services, including member recruitment, member retention and educational events.

Working with teams across the whole organisation, the post-holder will play a vital role in devising and delivering impactful and joined-up campaigns, while ensuring that our members are at the heart of everything that we do.

Key responsibilities include:

• Devising and delivering marketing plans for membership recruitment in line with the Association’s new member value proposition and growth targets
• Delivering the communications plans for subscription renewals
• Reviewing and improving the onboarding journey for new members
• Supporting the development of the Association’s website
• Devising and delivering a marketing strategy for educational events and conferences

About you

We’re looking for an organised and proactive marketing professional with experience of developing and delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns with demonstrable results, preferably in the membership sector. If you also have experience of managing internal and external stakeholders, are able to juggle multiple priorities to tight deadlines and have experience of a range of digital platforms, then we would like to hear from you.
