Your new role
The Purchasing & Business Support Assistant will be responsible for managing purchase orders, maintaining accurate records, coordinating with suppliers, and assisting with the smooth functioning of purchasing operations. The role requires close collaboration with other departments to ensure timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with suppliers to confirm product availability, pricing, and delivery schedules
• Act as the glue between local operations, purchasing, and internal procurement with any related purchasing issues, through positive engagement.
• Optimise the ordering process between suppliers and the hospital, managing and improving purchase to pay flows.
• Seek solutions to resolve critical problems with any suppliers, to ensure customer service levels are met.
• Back order management for the hospital excluding Theatres, Angio and Main Stores.
• Support the evaluation of supplier performance by maintaining records on customer service and liaising with the Head of Supply Chain and Process Improvement team for any supplier relationship management requirements.
• Assist with vendor onboarding processes, ensuring all required documentation is completed and submitted.

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience of Purchasing or Procurement
• Experience managing relationships with suppliers
• Experience tracking and managing inventory levels
• Good knowledge of the end to end supply chain process

What you need to do now
We are seeking candidates who can start immediately or within a 1-2 week notice period for a temporary role. Initially, due to the demanding nature of the position, you will be required to work on-site in South Kensington five days a week. Once training is completed, a hybrid working arrangement will be implemented, requiring you to be in the office three days a week and work remotely for the remaining two days.

Are you technically minded with an eye for detail and a drive to ensure systems work effectively?

We are looking for a new Digital Officer to support our channels and meet the needs of staff and members. You will work closely with the current Digital Officer to ensure the CSP website and associated sites, interactive CSP community groups, professional network microsites and email systems operate optimally, and will work with our external agency and third-party suppliers on technical requirements, support, and proactive and responsive maintenance. You will also work closely with members of the wider Corporate Communications team, staff across the CSP including the library, practice and development teams, IT, and staff and member website contributors.

To undertake this role, technical knowledge of content management systems (preferably Drupal), payment systems, integrations, email marketing tools, Google products and image editing software is required. Job description

• The Resident Liaison and Occupancy (RLO) Lead will be responsible for managing the full enquiry process for individuals requiring our services, providing excellent levels of customer care. They will ensure a warm and receptive experience for veterans and their partners with our Homes, assist them with their individual financial needs assessments, help coordinate the moving in process, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

• The RLO Lead will work closely with beneficiaries and their families across all our Homes, as well as local authorities and social workers to ensure that veterans and their partners can access the services and environments that best meet their needs.

Assessment and access to services

• Coordinate and manage the enquiry and moving in process to our Homes from first points of contact or referral to admission, ensuring a smooth transition for veterans and their partners.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals’ needs in collaboration with our Homes, social workers and healthcare professionals.

• Identify suitable services and support according to our criteria that align with assessed needs, preferences, and best interests of the individuals.

Liaison and coordination

• Act as a primary point of contact for our Homes, social workers, families, and other stakeholders.

• Provide guidance and support to veterans and their families throughout the moving in journey, or where they require support from other services.

• Provide a positive customer experience, helping to facilitate communication and collaboration among all parties involved with the moving in process.

• Work in collaboration with the Marcomms teams to input effective data to relevant analysis.

Contract management

• Negotiate and manage resident agreements with Home Managers, local authorities, residents and families, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality service delivery.

• Monitor relationships and communication with local authorities, community teams and hospital discharge teams addressing any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Monitor the ratio of self-funders to local authority residents and liaise with the Financial Controller to report their occupancy status.

Quality assurance and compliance

• Ensure that all admissions comply with regulatory standards, our policies, and best practices.

• Conduct regular reviews and audits of the assessment and admissions of new residents into our Homes to maintain high standards of satisfaction.

• Address any concerns or complaints regarding admissions and take appropriate action to resolve issues.

Data management and reporting

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all enquiries, admissions, assessments, and contracts using Found (our occupancy database).

• Prepare regular reports on occupancy activity, outcomes, and performance metrics liaising effectively with the Marcomms team

• Utilise data to identify trends, inform decision-making, and improve service delivery.
• Undertake any other duties as required and consistent with the nature of the role as determined by your manager.

ISEAL is offering an exciting opportunity for a part-time internship in its Policy & Engagement team to get insights in a sustainability focused policy setting and support the work on China. The internship provides valuable learning across a range of administrative, logistics, and research support.

ISEAL supports sustainability standards and similar market-based sustainability systems to improve their impacts on people and planet.

The ISEAL Policy and Engagement team focuses on understanding the latest policies from around the world to support governments and businesses to achieve greater sustainable development outcomes. The Policy and Engagement team's key goal is to support achievement of ISEAL’s strategic objectives around credibility and the role of voluntary sustainability standards and related systems by working with policy-makers and businesses and those that influence them. We also track and analyse emerging policy issues of relevance to ISEAL and its Community, build partnerships and engage in outreach to support ISEAL’s engagement goals of broadening the applicability of ISEAL’s credibility tools and supporting effective use of credible sustainability systems.

In China in recent years, policy makers and business leaders have been increasingly focusing on green and high-quality growth and China's role in developing and using sustainability standards and guidelines to support this development approach. Through technical expertise aligned to economic trends and policy priorities, ISEAL is keen to support Chinese standard setters, policy makers and other stakeholders as they grasp opportunities to use and manage credible sustainability standards to achieve important goals like greening trade and finance, and strengthening sustainable production and consumption.

The ideal intern candidate will bring existing skills in research, show good organisation ability and, ideally, have relevant language skills and a keen interest in policy and trade issues, especially pertaining to the Chinese context. We are looking for someone who is versatile, with good people and communication skills and comfortable working in a dynamic environment with multiple tasks and activities to support.

Key learning areas we will offer:

As intern you will report into the Policy & Outreach Manager and play an active part in ISEAL´s activities involving China and Chinese stakeholders:

• Support quarterly China-focused ISEAL community member meetings, including preparation work for the meeting, logistics, setting up slides, taking notes and help address any follow up actions
• Participate in meetings with organisations as part of ongoing collaboration, including any logistics, note taking and support follow up actions
• Help identify relevant stakeholders and ways of supporting their sustainability goals
• Support on general administration of policy and engagement work
• Depending on Chinese language skills, help review translations of materials in simplified Chinese
• Join policy and engagement team meeting for exposure to wider policy work at ISEAL

Competencies required

• Good organisational and administrative skills, including ability to schedule meetings, set up virtual calls, take notes and keep information up to date
• Good time management and ability to organise multiple simultaneous tasks efficiently with good attention to detail
• Excellent written & spoken English, with proven ability to write clearly and concisely
• Comfortable communicating with international stakeholders in online and in person setting (e.g. webinars, workshops etc)
• Confidence in using the Microsoft Office suite, familiarity with virtual meeting tools (e.g. MS Teams, Zoom, etc)
• Academic or other background in policy, politics or sustainability
• Interest in social, environmental, and economic sustainability
• Ideally, mandarin speaker with native fluency and with ability to read simplified Chinese at advanced level
• If language proficiency in Mandarin / Chinese is at lower level, in-depth knowledge of Chinese political landscape may be sufficient

Additionally desirable

• Some understanding of, sustainability standards and certification, which may have been gained in academic, internship, employment or voluntary settings

We know how much difference a Health Play Specialist can make to children who are 
seriously ill and for a lot of hospitals and community healthcare settings these roles can fall by 
the wayside when budgets are critically tight. Our pilot Starlight Health Play Specialist project 
has now demonstrated the positive impact of play staff for babies, children and families. 
We’ve already learned so much and are designing an impact assessment tool with the 
practitioners. Although the setup of the project is done, there is lots of learning still to do and 
the manager of this work will facilitate and maximise this learning. 
Starlight Health Play Specialists not only create the time, space and opportunity for children to 
play, whether that’s for preparation for procedures, management of anxiety, entertainment 
during long periods of boredom or aiding recovery. They carry out on-the-ground research, 
measure impact of activities, sharing their learning with us and help us to really understand 
what makes a brilliant Health Play Specialist and develop standards and training.They are 
beacons of good practice, championing and protecting play in healthcare – and that is where 
you, our new Play Specialist Programme Manager, come in.

Delivering counselling sessions to clients identified through the Emotional Wellbeing Mental Health Contract. As a counsellor, you’ll hold a weekly caseload of up to 15 children and young people, will work as part of a team, undertaking mental health assessment and delivering a range of evidence-based treatment for children and young people. (This may include individual, parent & child, sibling, family and group interventions.)

The service is underpinned by CYP IAPT principles, and the post holder would support and assist the core aims of this in the service.

Responsibilities

· Provide time-limited and clinically appropriate counselling sessions for CYP

· To work within the BACP, UKCP or equivalent ethical framework

· Keep accurate records of individual engagement, evidence of change and celebrate progress with CYP

· Build positive relationships with young people and where necessary parents and carers

· Provide, record and report the appropriate data to ensure support programmes can be accurately monitored and evaluated

· Work as part of a team and attend team meetings, training events and participate fully in one to one, peer and group supervision

· Always apply safeguarding and child protection procedures

· Provide written case studies as evidence of the effectiveness of individual interventions
