A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join Westway Trust as a Property Assistant, providing efficient and responsive administrative support across the full property team. You will be a friendly, motivated, and active administrator who will play a key role in the smooth running of the property department.
You will be pro-active, organised, with good initiative being the main point of contact responding to estate and property related enquiries and reports of issues, from tenants, customers, contractors and the community. You will therefore need to possess or demonstrate a willingness to provide a good level of customer service with property knowledge.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Provide efficient and effective administrative support across the Property team, including daily active filing, archiving, photocopying, scanning and record keeping.
- Initial point of contact for enquiries to the Property team.
- Provide a responsive customer service handling system to record such enquiries.
- Coordinating the general day-to-day activities of the Head of Property & Estates in relation to emails, posts, and voicemails.
- Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of property particulars, void reports, and reviewing property marketing websites for current information.
- Cross-referencing and managing the prospective tenant’s selection list with the historical enquiry list and alerting the team of any repeat/active enquiries.
- Regular visits to Trust premises to record any Health and Safety/Fire Risk Assessment breaches and reporting these to the appropriate Facilities Management team member.
- Assist with attending Unit Base Parking/Filming/Events on the estate, recording any infringements of agreements on site, and notifying the appropriate team member for further follow-on action.
- Preparing notification details for relevant authorities for entry and exit of tenants – rates, utilities, etc.
- Assisting with servicing property meetings (i.e., circulating papers, coordinating actions where required).
- Responsible for the recording of void premises and issuing of building keys.
- Occasionally provide assistance to the Trust’s reception/office manager for general office duties and reception cover if required.
Knowledge and Experience:
- A minimum of one year’s experience in a busy property department.
- A broad understanding of commercial property or demonstrable experience of transferable skills if you are from a different sector.
- Customer focused, with the ability to provide a friendly and efficient service to customers, staff and tenants.
- Good time management, attention to detail, organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure with changing priorities.
- Excellent administrative skills.
- High level IT skills and experience of using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Personal skills:
- A personable and collaborative approach, with experience of developing and maintaining positive relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- Good communication skills, orally and in writing.

Are you our new Digital Communications Officer?
We are looking for a creative social media native who is comfortable not only with presenting UWC to different audiences but also collaborating and supporting our different stakeholders in doing so. You will join the Communications and Engagement Team at the UWC International Office (UWCIO) which consists of six people and report to the Digital Communications Manager.
As a Digital Communications Officer, you will create, develop and deliver content across all UWC International’s social media channels in line with our social media strategy and lead on sourcing or creating the relevant, required reporting to demonstrate engagement and impact. You will also support UWC’s truly global network of volunteers through digital resources, templates and training. In doing so, you will use your digital communications skills for the better, contributing to the success of the movement and supporting young people to access transformational educational opportunities they would otherwise not have dreamt of.
Part of the larger Advancement Team at UWC International, the Communications and Engagement Team provides the UWC movement with strategic leadership, support and advice in the area of internal and external communication, PR, promotion, marketing, crisis communications, alumni and wider community engagement, and partnerships with other organisations. The Team has a coordination and support function for teams across the UWC International Office, as well as other UWC stakeholders globally, such as UWC schools, colleges, national committees and governance bodies. Summary of role purpose
Senior fundraising and development role at a pioneering, mid-sized climate-change journalism non-profit with a seven-figure budget. Overall responsibility for developing, securing and managing a trusts and foundations pipeline – during an important organisational inflection point -- to help grow a sustainable, financially substantial and long-term income stream for our programmes, core and new activities. Working strategically with senior leadership and staff to maximise existing income sources and identify and evaluate new sources of income, including those beyond philanthropic donations.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
· Research and recommend funding opportunities for current and planned programmes at a dynamic, climate-change charity with a strong track record, team, and culture. Manage and organise initial enquiries, funding applications, follow-ups, and learnings from feedback.
· Draft clear and compellingly written fundraising materials, including cases for support, funding proposals and concept notes.

About the Role
The ideal candidate will be confident in engaging with new settings and committed to maintaining the high quality of our services during in-person training. While some sessions will be delivered online, the ability and readiness to provide in-person training is essential.
Beyond delivering our current training courses, we are looking for enthusiastic, skilled individuals who will actively collaborate with us to enhance existing course content, develop new standard and bespoke programmes, and deliver additional talks and workshops to meet client needs.
We would expect post holders to have a good understanding of the issues facing those with mental health issues, ideally with both recent experience of working within the mental health sector directly in a support and/or educational role and a proven training ability, both in person and online.
As a Mental Health Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering a variety of mental health training programs to a wide range of audiences. The Evaluation Officer role is a specialist post created to support the management, development and implementation of evaluation programmes across Alzheimer’s Society. The role is pivotal to promoting a culture of continuous improvement across all directorates. The post holder will support the Evaluation and Impact Team in the development and implementation of evaluation and impact measurement programmes for support services, influencing and research activities across England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
You are someone who is passionate about making a difference for people affected by dementia and understand the important role that evaluation plays in making this happen. You also appreciate the complexities that come with working in a large and fast-moving organisation but are able to prioritise tasks and manage your time effectively to get the job done. We are looking for a quick learner who brings an open mind and lots of enthusiasm.
The successful candidate will benefit from working as part of a small and supportive team, whilst also taking responsibility for a number of their own evaluation projects. They will connect with colleagues across the Society to understand areas of work and develop appropriate evaluation approaches, provide evaluation support and recommendations, report on and share findings.
You are:
- Proficient in Qualitative and Quantitative research approaches in social research
- Able to lead on 2/3 projects simultaneously, using project management approaches.
- Able to apply research methodologyinto practice from scoping projects, to producing reports and making recommendations, aligned to an evidence base and with the Help and Hope strategy
- Aware of differing evaluative approaches and tools.
- Able to facilitate training and focus groups
- Curious, with a problem solving approach to data collection to greater inform decision making

The Role
As Head of Programmes, you will shape an exciting new phase of programming for the organisation, capitalising on new opportunities to scale impact.

Job purpose
This role sits within our crisis alternative service, Safe Space, which is an out of hours service providing a safe and welcoming space for people who are feeling distressed and experiencing crisis. The service operates 365 days a year from 12:00 (midday)-11:30pm across all of our boroughs.
We have 2 positions available. Onefull time positions at our Ealing site, and one part time (3 days a week) at our Hounslow site.
The objectives of the service include:
- To improve the mental wellbeing of people experiencing mental health crisis in HFEH.
- To provide support to clients accessing the service- for instance: signposting, de-escalation, planned wellbeing activities etc.
- To contribute to an improvement in individual mental wellbeing.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

- Ensure the operation of the fundraising pages and data-collection elements of PETA's and its affiliates' websites

We are looking for a qualified woman[2] solicitor or barrister or CILEX member with experience of employment harassment and discrimination law to deliver our vital legal services for women as part of our employment law team.
The Legal Officer (Employment Law) is responsible for delivery of Rights of Women’s core services including providing legal advice on our ‘Sexual Harassment at Work’ telephone advice line, delivering training and writing publications. They also contribute to Rights of Women’s policy and influencing work, specifically related to our 'Sexual Harassment at Work’ advice line and employment law and the management of the legal volunteers to the advice line.
