About the role

We have a talented Social Entrepreneur Support team who find, fund and support our award winners across the UK. They help our award winners with everything from managing their cash flow, developing business plans, evidencing social impact, raising investment, to helping them find expert mentors in specialist fields.

Guided by our dual goals to fund for impact and deliver market leading support, we will support our Social Entrepreneurs across the UK to create impact and change. This role will work in collaboration across the organisation to ensure we deliver, improve and develop our find, fund and support offer. This role will encourage and lead the SE Support team across England to seek a diverse pipeline and deliver equitable awards and support, by working alongside social entrepreneurs and by making data informed decisions. You will play a major role in deepening our capability and expertise within our awards delivery. This will include the development of internal knowledge and awareness, increasing visibility and reputation across the sector, and support the development of partnerships to enable us to deliver on our strategic goals.

JOB PURPOSE

To inspire people with mental health conditions to progress, and to gain and sustain paid employment.  Some Employment Specialists will support clients with common (mild to moderate) mental health conditions (e.g. anxiety, depression), whilst others will support clients with more severe and enduring mental illness (e.g. schizophrenia, bipolar, personality disorders).

Depending on what clients are right for you to work with, you will either work across the local NHS primary or secondary care network alongside NHS clinicians to secure client referrals.

To work with clients with more serious mental illness, you will need to be comfortable supporting people who have experienced / are experiencing serious mental health challenges, as well as possibly other serious difficulties in their lives.  Although you will receive full training and support, it’s important you are aware of the potential impact this may have on your own mental wellbeing.

All Employment Specialists will follow the 8 principles of IPS, adhere to the IPS Fidelity Scale and achieve monthly targets and KPIs with the required administration and compliance.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Engage a caseload of clients with mental health problems and establish trusting, collaborative relationships to support them into employment in line with contract targets and IPS fidelity.

2. Assess clients’ employment support needs; implementing and adjusting employment plans as necessary to support each client’s desired outcomes along IPS requirements.

3. Develop and deliver a range of practical services to meet clients’ needs including career guidance, job searching, CV preparation, interview skills, individual coping techniques or work coaching.

4. Build a constant flow of referrals to ensure a dynamic caseload.

5. Conduct weekly employer engagement activity in line with IPS Fidelity.

6. Understand the complex issues a client may face, recognise holistic support needs and work in conjunction with clinical staff.

7. Facilitate access to expert financial advice on welfare benefits and ‘access to work’ resources.

8. Provide support and reasonable adjustments if required, to employed clients to support them to stay and progress in work.

9. As requested, attend clinical team meetings to provide advice and information on employment and IPS.

10. Collaborate with community partners to raise awareness of employment and mental health issues and promote access to the service.

11. Maintain accurate and up to date records of activity and outcomes in line with service requirements, ensuring the IT database is up to date and paperwork compliant.

12. Update and maintain NHS database (IAPTus).

13. Receive regular supervision and training to meet individual, team and organization’s needs.

14. Contribute to the development of a service that is locally responsive and supports minority/disadvantaged communities.

15. Comply with and actively promote all Twining policies and procedures including Equality and Diversity, safeguarding and data protection.

About the role

We are seeking an IT Tech Support Team Lead to support ARTICLE 19 during its migration to the MS365 platform and applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing A19’s technical support operations, including deploying, optimising and supporting applications and users across the organisation. About the role

The Exchange is looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working Sales Assistant with a flair for customer service, and a passion for plants, craft and people. This is an exciting new opportunity to help support our Retail Manager in establishing The Garden Room as a vibrant, successful and welcoming space for retail, selling homeware and gifts; craft and garden supplies and tools; plants and plant care products; and some fashion, fragrance and cosmetics. The Garden Room acts as the main entrance into The Exchange, and so the Sales Assistant will be expected to be able to talk confidently about the wider organisation and its work. The space is also used for workshops, focusing on the interconnection between craft and gardens.

Principle Duties:

• Sales: Maximise sales within our retail space, The Garden Room, by assisting with the day-to-day running of the shop, ensuring it is always well presented, welcoming and secure.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Fundraiaser will work in close consultation with the Chair, Trustees and with members of the Steering Committee in carrying out the following tasks and responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with the organization's goals. Develop strategies to expand, enhance and cultivate the current donor base. Set targets for fundraising and report against targets.
• Identify new donors and cultivate existing donors. seek new sources of funding such as charitable foundations and trusts. Submit grant applications and reports, as needed.
• Develop and maintain database of donors and donations.
• Constantly follow PCFF activities, projects, achievements, and evolving content matter. Work closely with the PCFF Israeli-Palestinian fundraising team to address needs and identify opportunities.
• Organisation of speaking visits to the UK by PCFF representatives. Plan programme of events and manage relevant arrangements, bookings, etc. Designing and executing a programme of awareness-raising and fundraising events, marketing, and alumni engagement.
• Maintain and increase FBFF’s media presence – in Jewish, Christian, Muslim and national press.
• Field general queries from external groups and individuals.

About the role 

We are now seeking an experienced and qualified finance professional to take responsibility for the finance function of the charity and its trading subsidiary. The chosen candidate will be joining our team as we embark on an exciting new chapter in improving our site and growing our capacity. The Finance Manager will work with the CEO to ensure the organisation has guidance and support on all matters relating to finance so that the charity and its trading subsidiary are always compliant and secure. The ideal candidate will therefore be detail-oriented and well-organised, with the ability to develop effective working processes and procedures, and the analytical skills to inform managerial decision-making. Core Responsibilities 

Financial Management:

· Day to day management of the organisation’s financial and administrational activities, ensuring that appropriate systems are in place to receive and make payments, and to monitor financial performance of both the charity and the trading subsidiary

· Invoicing and, where required, debt management processes

· Regular reconciliation of bank and other relevant accounts

· Design and implementation of appropriate financial procedures, ensuring they are followed at all times

· Preparation of monthly payroll data and submission to external provider

· Managing all relevant tax aspects for the charity, ensuring that tax is appropriately calculated, collected, reported and paid

Procurement:

This is a highly rewarding role for a Team Leader to manage and coordinate the Outreach Service and other projects in Central & East London area, including recruitment, training and line management of staff and volunteers for the projects.
