We are looking to recruit an experienced individual with a strong background in operations and office management, financial management, human resources, and some experience of communications to play a central role within our small but dynamic team. The role focuses on developing and overseeing the smooth running of our internal systems and processes, ensuring financial, legal and regulatory compliance, developing and managing a database to monitor the implementation of our strategic plan, and managing risk.
ILP is a network of talented and passionate pro bono lawyers drawn from diverse countries and cultures across the globe. We mobilise teams of legal experts to support the policy and legal needs of marginalised communities, their governments, and their social movement organisations. Our partners are civil society organisations, governments, community groups and investigative journalists.
The Operations Manager role combines governance, human resources, financial management and operational delivery, with some involvement in communications. Working closely with the Executive Director and external bookkeepers, you will be critical in ensuring that all legal, regulatory and statutory requirements of the charity are met, in addition to delivering accurate financial management, and carrying out key HR functions. You will lead on general office management, including IT systems, events and logistics, and be responsible for some communications functions, including managing ILP’s website and social media.
This is a broad and varied role of critical importance to the smooth and effective running of the charity.

The Role

You’ll work directly with our partners and our team to ensure that everyone has what they need to get the job done. You’ll be planning and writing project documentation, running kickoffs and facilitating sprints, meetings, and key project milestones.

The role involves…
- Being flexible and responding to changes in projects as they arise
- Playing an active role in scheduling and leading all meetings including kickoffs
- Planning projects so that they are completed within defined time and budget
- Monitoring progress of projects to make sure they meet targets and partner expectations
- Producing clear read outs of activities, milestones, costs, and risks for internal and external stakeholders
- Checking in with teammates to ensure they are not over-scheduled on project tasks and have everything they need to work effectively and efficiently

- Comfortable with all things tech and digital (you don’t have to able to write the code but you know the difference between your HTML and your APIs)

We're looking for an inspirational people person to join us as a Assistant Shop Manager in our Muswell Hill Boutique by Shelter shop. This is an exciting opportunity, and we'd like you to join us to help raise vital funds for homeless and badly housed people.
You will work closely with the Shop Manager to ensure the shop looks welcoming, visually appealing and the team of volunteers are motivated and keen to engage with customers and maximise sales.
About the role
You will assist the Shop Manager in the recruitment, support and development of a strong community focused shop team and empower them to maximise Shelter's income. Representing Shelter in your local community, ensuring that you and your team share your knowledge of Shelter's cause with customers, volunteers, donors and potential Shelter clients will also be important aspects of the role.
You will always ensure a safe, clean, bright and happy environment for your team to work in and for your customers to shop in, in turn attracting potential donors and volunteers.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a selections expert to join the Supporter Selections Team at Alzheimer’s Society in what is a really exciting time for both the charity and the team. You will be joining the team as we further develop our selections by using insight, both in and post-campaign, plus develop highly relevant and individualised supporter experiences to drive our communications and improve supporter journeys. The successful candidate will play an integral role in helping us achieve this alongside exploring new and improved ways of delivering our selections and supporter journeys, plus enhancing our processes through improvements to our systems.
As a Customer Selections Analyst, you will be responsible for working with teams from across Income & Engagement to ensure the successful delivery of accurate and targeted selections to support warm marketing activity and stewardship, plus the design and production of multi-stage supporter journeys through the use of PeopleStage, our campaign planning and management tool. Your proficiency in managing and prioritising tasks will be invaluable in delivering selections on our agreed Communications Plan, and you will be pivotal in enabling our organisation to communicate with the right supporters, through the right channel, at the right time, in the right way through the systems and tools available to you.

The Network Rail Outreach team, will be providing vital outreach support to individuals who are currently rough sleeping in a number of key stations across Westminster. The team will work alongside the Street outreach team with the objective of supporting those rough sleeping to find a suitable and sustainable route away from the street.
Our belief is that rough sleeping is an intrinsically harmful and dangerous activity both for the individual and for the wider community. Therefore, we take a proactive and assertive approach to supporting people away from this activity. Our aim is to support people to recover from the effects of rough sleeping and move away from a street lifestyle permanently.

Working as an Outreach Worker you will work with people to assess their needs and deliver a person centred support, as well as working in partnership with multi-disciplinary teams and agencies across the city to meet client’s individual needs.

It’s not always an easy job, but the opportunity to work with different people every day, helping individuals experiencing homelessness and the local community end the harms of rough sleeping can be highly rewarding.
You will work on a weekly shift rota to ensure we are available to support people experiencing homelessness when they need us the most.
About you
