How we work with Employers and Higher Education Institutions

At Unifrog, we partner with universities and employers to help them connect with our global network of highly engaged students, teachers and careers leaders.

Our partnerships allow universities and employers to co-create content which can be accessed on the Unifrog platform (including online subject taster courses and day-in-the-life videos), share upcoming events and opportunities with relevant Unifrog students and teachers, and take part in a series of events throughout the year aimed at providing students at Unifrog schools with all the information they need to make the best decisions for their futures, and create the strongest applications.

The Employer and HE teams exist to support each of Unifrog's university and employer partners to make the most of their partnership with Unifrog, and to secure new partnerships with universities and employers who could benefit from a relationship with Unifrog.

The role and responsibilities

As New Business Lead for Employer and HE Partnerships, you will play a pivotal role in driving Unifrog’s growth in our employer and higher education markets. You’ll need to be target driven to help create a wider network of universities and employers to support Unifrog students from around the world to find their best next step.

You will be given support by both the HE and Employer teams but will also have the autonomy to lead your own campaigns and projects. 

You will be able to develop your skills, strengths and interests. We always look to make space for our team to grow within the company, and we have a general policy of promoting within.

Your key responsibilities:

• Design tailored campaigns involving emails, phone calls, webinars and social media, to target employers and higher education institutions in a smart and engaging way.

• Communicate with interested employers and higher education institutions to explain the work we do at Unifrog and the partnerships we offer in a compelling manner to secure online demonstrations for our Employer and Higher Education Partnership Managers.

• Attend conferences (sometimes overseas) to promote the work we do at Unifrog and network with relevant stakeholders in the employer and higher education sectors.

• Be the first port of call for partnership/collaboration enquiries from employers and higher education institutions.

• Work with our team of Employer and Higher Education Partnership Managers to understand the challenges they face and how you can support them in growing their partner bases.

• Analyse data from the Unifrog platform to inform your research around suitable higher education institutions and employers that we don’t work with but who would benefit from a partnership with us. 

• Support with other projects such as organising conferences, analysing our competitors, and reviewing our marketing collateral.

• Communicate information about our line up of online and in-person events to non-partner HE institutions, to secure their attendance at these events.

• Gain an in-depth understanding of our competitors in the market.
   

Working together

You’ll be working with the HE and Employer teams, alongside the Partnerships Director for International Schools and HE (who will be your line manager), the Partnerships Director for UK Schools and Employers, the Head of Employer Partnerships, and the Head of HE Partnerships. Your projects will also see you collaborating closely with the Marketing team.

The role and your key responsibilities
 

As an Account Manager, your role is to make sure that all partners in your area make the most out of the Unifrog platform. You’ll build and maintain excellent working relationships with your partner schools and colleges, and provide expert guidance on how to embed the platform across all year groups.

You will cover your own area of the country with occasional travel to your partner schools and colleges (on average 1-2 days per week).
 

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Work with schools and colleges to provide resources and strategies which maximise staff and student engagement with Unifrog, identifying and promoting best practice across partner schools.

• Deliver targeted training sessions to staff within our partner schools and colleges via workshops and presentations, delivered remotely or in person.

• Work with your partner Area Manager to improve Unifrog engagement and achieve a sky high resubscription rate.

• Monitor and analyse usage across partner schools and colleges; identifying partners that need additional support to use the platform effectively.

• Listen to teachers and students about how we can improve our customer service and the Unifrog platform.

• Attend conferences and run CPD events on behalf of Unifrog.

We focus on sites at risk in areas of least investment - in local communities that most need our help - ensuring a sustainable future for every project we work on. To date, we have restored 850 sites across London.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and proactive project manager with a passion for London’s built heritage. The Head of Projects will oversee the delivery of our restoration projects across the capital, ensuring they meet our high standards and achieve maximum public benefit.

The role involves overseeing the full lifecycle of restoration projects, from initial research and site identification to overseeing conservation work and successful project completion. Importantly, you will work closely with local authorities, conservation experts and community organisations to influence and build local commitment to conservation projects.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Supervising Social Worker to join our growing team, developing new services and support for our carers in Kent. The Supervising Social Worker will use a therapeutic parenting skills, alongside our trauma informed approach to support and advocate for our carers and the young people and children they look after. The Supervising Social Worker will be an essential presence in our recruitment and retention of carers events and must be willing to travel regularly as part of their duties.

• Provision of regular support and supervisory visits to Foster Carers using a trauma informed approach

What will I be doing?

• Identifying, researching and developing positions on policy issues important to Cancer Research UK

• Communicating the charity's position on policy issues to government, policymakers and other stakeholders, for example through written reports, briefings, responses to consultations and policy statements

• Developing and contributing specialist expertise in issues relevant to your policy area

• Ensuring that relevant internal audiences are kept up-to-date with policy developments and feed in to the work of the policy team

Migration Policy Scotland (MPS) is an independent policy organisation working to improve the prospects for a more just migration system in Scotland and across the UK. MPS is pioneering an approach that integrates migrant lived experience into research-driven policy influencing. We have recently been awarded funding by The National Lottery Community Action Fund enabling us to continue and grow this area of activity. This will involve supporting the continued work of our Migrant Lived Experience Panel, the establishment of a Capacity Building and Leadership Development Programme for migrants and migrant community organisations, and the further development of our migrant community of practice. 

We are seeking a part-time participation officer (0.3 FTE) to support our senior staff to deliver this important and ambitious work. 

Potential candidates for this role are likely to have a background in community engagement and/or volunteer support and familiarity with social research methods. Preferably some of this experience will be in the migration sector. The participation officer will

• Provide ongoing engagement with and support to our Migrant Lived Experience Panel members.

• Organise and support the smooth running of an on-going programme of training and project development events.

As an Evaluation and Learning Manager you will lead on ensuring that rigorous evidence is  systematically used to drive impact for people living in Lambeth and Southwark and  to advance the emerging field of urban health. • Change Management: Advise the Executive Team on change management initiatives and incentives plans to ensure our workplace continues to celebrate individuality and encourages fresh ideas.

You will be a confident multi-tasker, with good communication and relationship building skills, who is able to priorities and time manage a busy workload.

You will have a proven record of delivering a strong and high quality HR service with genuine empathy and as such we are looking for an HR specialist who is comfortable dealing with a wide range of HR activity, confident, willing to multitask and undertake duties that will support our team in the immediate and long term.

Our mission is global in focus but we have a small workforce footprint and as such we require a highly skilled and motivated individual who has strong ethical standards and demonstrable commitment to the values of WeProtect Global Alliance.

Our Alliance generates political commitment and practical approaches to make the digital world safe and positive for children, preventing sexual abuse and long-term harm.

Our Alliance’s geographical reach is unprecedented: 103 governments are members along with 82 private sector companies, 126 civil society organisations and 10 intergovernmental organisations. This diverse membership is key to our ability to deliver real change. WeProtect Global Alliance is supported by a high-performing secretariat of eleven staff based in the UK and Belgium and is overseen by an influential Global Policy Board.
