We’re looking for someone who can inspire and collaborate, building strong, positive relationship. As one of our regionally dispersed Community Fundraiser’s, you’ll be joining a busy team, where you will manage relationships with our key supporters with the primary purpose of generating income across a geographical area, through community fundraising activities. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering income targets across the region by building strong relationships with individuals, local companies, community groups and volunteers, in line with our community fundraising strategy. You will also be responsible for the management and support of local third-party events in your region and in providing excellent stewardship to those supporters.

£40,500 - £44,100 per annum

What the job involves

This is a unique chance to play a pivotal role in driving impactful external communication strategies that support Individual Giving and Events and Community Fundraising. As a key player in the Strategic Communications, Campaigns and Brand team, you’ll enable the integration of mass fundraising activities into wider organisational communications, inspiring action to fund life-saving initiatives that help men navigate prostate cancer.

Supporting the Head of Strategic Communications, Campaigns and Brand in embedding and developing our Business Partnering model. A major part of the role will be enabling the integration of Mass Fundraising activity into the wider communications plan to enhance results from our communications.

You’ll guide the planning process for projects and campaigns to grow fundraising revenue, support our community and improve outcomes for all men affected by and at risk of prostate cancer.

Please note this role is known internally as Communications Business Partner (Mass).

You’ll have proven expertise in communications business partnering, with experience in mass or public fundraising. Working within our Strategic Communication team, you’ll have a strong understanding of campaign planning tools like OASIS and a solid grasp of PR, social media, and integrated marketing strategies. You’ll be an exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for diverse audiences in particular mass fundraising engagement.

As natural collaborator, you’ll have skills in influencing, coaching and motivating teams to achieve ambitious results within project management.

Event Assistant, Tommy’s & LLHM

Job Summary

We are seeking an Event Assistant to support both the London Landmarks Half Marathon (LLHM) event side and Tommy’s side (affectionately nicknamed Team Tommy’s). This is an incredibly exciting time to join the team and gain fantastic experience in both the charity and events industry at one of the UK's leading mass participation events, which is owned and operated by Tommy's.

For the LLHM Team, the main purpose of this role is to provide first-class customer service and support to the 20,000+ runners taking part in the Half Marathon, as the event continues to grow in size year on year. This will involve managing the helpdesk email and phone line, ensuring runners are accurately registered and answering any queries they may have.

For Team Tommy’s, the main purpose of this role is to support the Tommy’s team of 3,000+ runners in the London Landmarks Half Marathon. The role is responsible for being the main point of contact for the runners and ensuring they have the best experience possible running the LLHM and fundraising for Tommy’s through our support inbox and phone line. The aim is to deliver the ambitious team fundraising target of over £1,800,000 for LLHM 2026 and more in the following years. This role will also support the development of the Team Tommy’s LLHM Corporate Challenge, a product that recruits a team of corporate runners to take part in the LLHM and fundraise for Tommy’s.

We are not necessarily looking for past experience in a similar role, but for transferable skills and personal attributes to deliver excellent customer service and be a good all-rounder with fantastic administration and communication skills. Overall, you should have a passion for the LLHM event and Tommy’s cause.

About the role

Our Network Liasion Officer is a key role in the delivery of YUF’s work supporting uniformed youth organisations that have funding from DCMS from their Uniformed Youth Fund. You will be working with a portfolio of 3-4 organisations from our network with whom you will need to develop strong and positive working relationships. You will support them to stay on track with progress in their projects ensuring that:

• That their project is on track and understanding what support they need; 

• Learning from the project is captured in such a way that it can be used for future funding bids; 

• Support with designing and delivering bi-monthly Learning Sessions for the Groups; 

• Updating Network Leads on the progress of the project at Network Meetings; 

• Be part of the wider YUF team and play an active role in the small but tight knit team, supporting each other and understanding roles.

This administrative role sits within the corporate partnerships team and involves general team support with admin, emails, database management and desk research.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Respond to a range of email inbox enquiries from brands and businesses in a timely manner, liaising with supporters via email and over the phone as the first point of contact for the charity.
• Action requests to the appropriate members of the Partnerships Team, Fundraising Team or wider organisation. Supporting to arrange internal and external meetings.
• Send out ad hoc postal requests for fundraising materials from the charity's office.
• Work with the Corporate Partnerships Managers to thank corporate partners and supporters with communications, certificates and letters.
• To support in the stewardship of small businesses based on their small partnership criteria including monitoring activity and stewarding through dedicated fundraising platforms.
• Support the Corporate Partnerships Manager with administrative tasks related to current partners and prospects, including completing due diligence research, responding to email enquiries from individuals, proof-reading proposals, and fulfilling fundraising material requests.
• Create and maintain up-to-date records on the newly implemented CRM system, Beacon, ensuring communications and activities with supporters and partners are accurately recorded.
• Pull accurate reports from the donor database as requested by the Partnerships Team to assist with reviewing new business pipelines, financial reporting and tracking partner events.
• Work with the Finance Executive to support accurate finance reconciling of donations and income streams, including supporting with coding the back end of JustGiving pages and GivenGain pages to ensure accurate income reconciliation and reporting.
• Support on coordinating travel for the Partnerships team where necessary for events and meetings.
• To attend events to represent the charity and the Partnerships team.

This role is responsible for growing the year-round Institutional fundraising revenue in in the UK.

This will achieved by:

• Supporting Director of Partnerships in implementing a comprehensive year-round Trusts and Philanthropy strategy for UK and Europe
• Developing and managing a portfolio of high value prospects
• Developing a comprehensive funding calendar to ensure an always on approach to philanthropic funding opportunities
• Working closely with Impact teams to develop compelling case for support documents
• Working collaboratively with other Movember teams in the UK, Europe and in our other key markets, as well as with other Movember functions locally and globally

Summary

The Church of England Foundation for Educational Leadership was set up in 2017 with the mission to 'develop inspirational leaders who are called, connected, committed to deliver the Church of England vision for education'. Since then, it has operated a wide range of leadership development programmes, networks, research, conference and events, and published a range of key leadership resources to equip school leaders at every level to put their vision into practice.

Part of this provision has been as a very successful national provider of NPQ programmes. Beginning in 2017 with the delivery of NPQs for Headteachers, our suite of programmes has now expanded to include programmes for Specialist Teachers, Senior Leaders and also Executive Leaders. More recently, a partnership between the Church of England and the Catholic Education Service is also enabling programmes to be delivered more widely as together our school provision represents around 34% of the sector.

You will be supporting the Learning Specialist's work across a range of digital systems, although primarily the Blackboard LMS. The role will focus on ensuring our NPQ participants and participants on other programmes have the best possible experience when using the LMS by providing technical support and administration. This will also include responsibility for responding to queries from delivery partners and participants about Blackboard. Where necessary, this will also require working across other systems, including the Salesforce CRM, and supporting with live teaching sessions on Zoom, Teams or other platforms.

• This is a fixed-term contract until 31st December 2025
• Whilst this is a remote role, the post-holder will need to travel for the following reasons:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• Knowledge of Learning Management Systems and their administration

In this role, you will manage an existing caseload and new referrals, meeting with families and Young Carers to complete statutory assessments and create action plans. You‘ll provide support for Young Carers to reduce the impact of their caring role and improve their resilience, educational chances and wellbeing, through signposting to local services, in-school support, one-to-one sessions, and workshops.

There will be opportunities to work closely with schools, Children’s Services and other agencies to raise awareness, identify hidden Young Carers, and ensure Young Carer needs are understood and acted on.

The fundraising team are working towards the growth and success of St Mungo’s Fundraising Strategy, which ultimately supports our aim to end rough sleeping for good. We are looking for someone to join the team as a Database Officer where you can provide database administration support to the fundraising team, enabling our strategy on supporter lifetime value, in line with our income growth path.

Working as the Database Officer you will maintain, develop and utilise the Raiser’s Edge database as an effective fundraising, segmentation and analysis tool, and train the fundraising team on Raiser’s Edge. Some of your other key duties will include:

• Manage daily administration of the Raiser’s Edge database, adding of data to lists, campaigns, appeals, adding new users.
• Importing large volumes of data using ImportOmatic and Raiser’s Edge imports for teams across Fundraising.
• Improve data quality on the database by running queries and reports to identify where data is not accurate or in the right format such as missing address information, phone or email and gift aid, as well as other information as identified.
• Support the Database Manager in implementing best practices when using and developing the database, including coding for segments, attributes and other database customisations.
• Assist in training Raiser’s Edge users to ensure they are fully trained in the relevant aspects of database functionality and to provide technical support when required.
• Create data sets to go to mailing houses and email communications which include segmentation of data and complex criteria.
• Work with fundraising and other teams to solve data challenges and estimate time to develop solutions and communicate timeframes.

About you

We are looking for a good problem solver with a solution focused attitude. If you can demonstrate the below, we encourage you to apply:

• Experience in using databases as an administrator, ideally using Raiser’s Edge NXT within the charity sector.
• Some experience in developing reporting, incorporating multiple criteria based on ever changing requirements, analysing data; and using data management tools and techniques including Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulae, data manipulation and presentation).
• You will have good knowledge of GDPR with an investigative mind, and the ability to solve complex problems while remaining focused on wider team objectives and goals.
• Good organisation and prioritisation skills and be an effective decision maker with a solution focused attitude.

In this role you will be required to work flexibly for at least 2 days per week from our Central Office in Tower Hill, London. This allows for training, in person collaboration, team building, line management and other relationship building opportunities. We support a flexible approach to work with opportunities for agile working for the rest of your week; from home, or other St Mungo’s London or regional locations.
