About The Role

We’re looking for a racial awareness workshop facilitator to deliver our tried and tested classroom-based training to children in primary and secondary education settings. The training focuses on creating inclusive spaces for meaningful discussions about race, identity, and mental health helping children and young people explore identity, culture, and emotional well-being in a safe and supportive environment.

You'll need experience of working with children in classroom settings and strong behaviour management skills. Your ability to facilitate group discussions, handle sensitive topics with confidence, and maintain positive classroom dynamics will be essential. You'll work collaboratively with teachers, bringing energy and creativity to the workshop delivery while supporting their professional development in this important area.

This is a new role at Carers Trust to create a database system and a data culture that underpins our ambitious growth plans.

We are investing in donor acquisition, but also in growing our corporate, major donor and grants’ portfolios and you, as champion for data, will be pivotal in this. • Be able to create a vision and a strategy for how data will be used to drive growth in our fundraising. You will be the champion for our database.

In this role you will:

The Stewardship Manager will be a key strategic leader within Carers Trust's Income Generation and Engagement Directorate who will create, implement and manage a comprehensive stewardship programme that illustrates to supporters the impact of their giving and involvement.

The Stewardship Manager will be responsible for ensuring an exceptional donor experience, fostering long-term relationships and maximizing the retention and growth of income from individuals, trusts, and corporate donors. Working closely with all of our donor leads, they will develop an overall stewardship vision and oversee the planning and implementation of our supporter relations programmes for each audience.

Alongside our Database Manager, the Stewardship Manager will also ensure compliance with regulations, full documentation of communications and relationship milestones, and create a robust monitoring architecture for evaluating and reporting progress.

• Proven experience in donor stewardship, relationship management or customer experience in the charity or nonprofit sector

Main Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities: 

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations

The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity raises money solely to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. We ensure our nurses, doctors and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world.

Title: Senior Practitioner Psychologist (internally this role is known as Senior Skylight Psychologist)

About the role  

We are committed to ending the homelessness of more people using our direct services, including people with complex needs. To do this, we are seeking either full-time or part-time Practitioner Psychologists to join our fantastic team in locations around the UK.  

In this role, you will be supporting our diverse operation in Brent that includes the Skylight Service, the commissioned Single Homeless Prevention Service and The Single Homeless Refugee Service. You will also get involved in our outward facing place-based work that aim to shape better system responses to homelessness, working with colleagues from the Local Authority and NHS and the local community and voluntary service.

You will form part of the local Leadership team, supporting the implementation of Psychologically Informed Environments (PIEs).  You will support the delivery of our work to members by offering training and leading reflective practice for staff and providing direct services to members at times.

You will also be a part of a national psychology team made up of a Lead Clinical Psychologist, two Regional Lead Clinical Psychologists, and seven Practitioner Psychologists as well as one Assistant Psychologist and Trainee Clinical Psychologists on placements. 

At Crisis, we understand more and more Practitioner Psychologists are taking on multiple part-time opportunities within the NHS, private practice and the third sector as this has been the case with our own team. Crisis and our members have benefited from employing people with a variety of different work experience and we are therefore open to considering a range of part-time working arrangements. The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the role of the Income Processing and Sales Ledger Officer is to support the day to day operation of the Finance and Fundraising functions, which are essential to our ability to deliver on our charitable objectives.

In this role you will be responsible for managing and processing donations, processing of other income and receipts, completion of income side bank reconciliations, management of aged debtors and other sales ledger related tasks, processing of Direct Debits, plus completion of other ad-hoc tasks and provision of general administration support.

The successful candidate will need be able to work to deadlines and have strong basic skills in admin, organisation, and IT. The nature of the role requires someone who is able to manage confidential data, is highly numerate and is a problem solver.

This role would best suit someone with previous related experience and knowledge of working in finance, accounting and administration, ideally bringing existing sales ledger knowledge, however applications are also welcomed from those with the required basic skills

Work Location/Hybrid Working Pattern

This role will be based at our Head Office in central London. Mothers’ Union operates a hybrid working model. This role requires an average 2.5 days a week in the office minimum (115 days minimum per year) given the nature of the job. There will be in blocks in the fundraising area, mainly around appeals (3 or 4 blocks a year), where the successful candidate be expected to come into the office 7 or 8 days in a row.

Apart from that, Tuesdays are our anchor days where every staff member is expected to be at the office. The 115 days includes anchor Tuesdays. In addition, Thursday is a core working day where part time staff are expected to work, either at home or from the office as needed.

We are the only UK-wide charity for all those affected by a genetic bleeding disorder; a community of individuals and families, healthcare professionals and supporters.  For 70 years we have campaigned for better treatment, been a source of information and advice, and supported people living with long-term conditions.

The role  

THS is looking to recruit a dynamic, ambitious and confident Fundraising Manager to work with the Chief Executive to develop and implement our income strategy. 

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Fundraising Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be a core member of the team, developing and delivering the income stream for the charity with fundraising strategies that support THS’ mission.

The role will report to the Chief Executive and will be responsible for driving forward all aspects of fundraising, including building corporate partnerships, individual giving, major donors, trusts and foundations, legacies and community. 

The THS team is a small but agile team, working alongside its volunteers, so we expect the successful candidate to be a self-starter with a “can do” attitude, lots of energy and drive and a want to make a big difference.

Main Responsibilities: 

Fundraising Management and Development 

• Work with the Chief Executive to develop and implement a balanced and realistic fundraising strategy, which builds on THS strengths and maximises income for the charity. 

• Deliver an integrated fundraising programme, which includes corporate partnerships, individual giving, major donors, trusts and foundations, legacies, community and events. 

• Ensure all fundraising activity is compliant with GDPR and relevant fundraising regulation and that all data is accurate and maintained efficiently. 

• Work with colleagues across THS to proactively identify fundraising opportunities in line with our ethical fundraising policy and procedures, prioritising relationships where our values are aligned and we can achieve the biggest positive net gain. 

• To maintain and develop the donor CRM platform including building supporter journeys to enhance donor experiences and maximise income for the charity. 

• Work with the team to ensure that all opportunities to promote THS and develop our fundraising and supporter engagement experiences are explored and maximised. 

• Manage all aspects of finance and reporting relating to fundraising, including annual budgets, monthly reporting and re-forecasting. Provide monthly reports and updates on all fundraising activities and income streams 

• Work with the communications team, internal colleagues and external stakeholders to create impactful storytelling and supporter engagement opportunities to maximise revenue streams. 

Other 

• Keep up to date with best practice in fundraising and comply with relevant legislation and regulation and work within the organisation’s policies and procedures.

• Experience developing and managing a diverse fundraising portfolio with significant expertise in at least one of charitable trusts and grants, corporate partnerships and major donors 

• Experience of managing fundraising budgets and ability to make informed forecasts

• Experience in managing successful cross-functional relationships, internally and externally 

• Demonstrable experience of working successfully as part of a cross-disciplinary team, whilst also being able to work on own initiative and fully remote 

• Understanding of donor management and stewardship techniques and techniques to convert prospects into donors 

Knowledge & Understanding

We are recruiting a Grants and Trusts Fundraiser to identify and maximise opportunities to raise unrestricted and restricted funds from grant making bodies and charitable trusts.

What you will do:

Develop and nurture strong relationships with current and historic funders, cultivating relationships with new or prospective funders with the view to create fruitful long-term relationships.

Generate new leads and drive the prospecting process through regular meetings and communication with existing and prospective funders.

Ensure that all grants are administered correctly, including the recording and draw-down of funds is administered correctly.
