Radley College is seeking to appoint a dedicated and forward-thinking Radleian Society Manager to lead and develop the College’s alumni relations programme. This is a key strategic role, focused on fostering strong, lasting relationships with Old Radleians (“OR”s), current and former parents, and former staff.

Reporting to the Development Director, the post holder will be responsible for delivering an ambitious and wide-ranging engagement programme that reflects the values and vision of Radley College. This includes oversight of events, communications, digital engagement, and the facilitation of mentoring and networking initiatives through the College’s Futures Programme.

The successful applicant will

Lead a dynamic calendar of alumni and parent engagement events, including reunions, networking forums, and social gatherings

Oversee communications, both digital and print, to ensure high-quality, consistent outreach and storytelling

Act as liaison to the Radleian Society Committee and other affiliated groups, managing volunteer engagement and project delivery

Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Development Office and Futures Team to connect alumni with current pupils and recent leavers

Utilise data insights to inform strategy, track engagement, and report on key outcomes

As well as being a home for inspirational performance, The Playhouse is an active charity with artistic, social and educational aims. St Lukes Hospice is looking for an Integrated Care Facilitator, who has experience working within health and social care, who has a passion to use this knowledge to enhance the lives of our Palliative care patients and their significant others. 

About the role 

As their Integrated Care Facilitator, you will use your specialist knowledge of the health and social care system to support your clinical colleagues within the Hospice, primary care and wider healthcare providers. You will be working directly with patients and their significant others in the communities where they live, helping to develop a deep understanding of the many local initiatives which can support them in a more creative way. 

You will be pivotal in helping us develop and evaluate this exciting role, and your views and experience will be critical in helping us be the very best at what we do. We recognise the critical impact and challenges current health and social care provision has on our patients and their significant others, and we are looking for someone who can maximise the support and choice for our patients, from referral through to end of life. 

We are looking for someone who uses their own imitative and is able to work as part of a team, who can provide support across our 3 community hubs. 

About you 

It is your values that are most important to us. Experience of working within the clinical setting and/or specialist palliative care would be an advantage but not essential and training will be given to the right individuals. Knowledge of care provision across Plymouth and South Hams and West Devon would be a particular advantage.

We're looking for a new Facilities Manager for our Leighton Moss reserve. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the team at Leighton Moss in North Lancashire. As part of the team, you will work for one of the world’s leading conservation charities, dedicated to saving nature.

As the Facilities Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the infrastructure and support services are well maintained, operate within budget, in line with good practice and within legal frameworks. You will provide comprehensive business/operational support facilitating delivery of work programmes and an effective working environment. You will ensure RSPB is accredited by Green Dragon and compliance is maintained. You will manage the administration of the site as well as managing staff and volunteers and ensuring a high level of customer service.

Essential skills, knowledge and experience:

• You will have the self-motivation and organisational skills to effectively prioritise and deliver a large and varied workload - maintaining our buildings, supporting the visitor business and land management operations and providing admin support to managers.
• Knowledge, understanding and evidence of the key elements of ensuring well-maintained facilities and associated services.
• Ability to ensure H&S compliance is met, knowledge and experience of writing and implementing Risk Assessments and Emergency Procedures.
• Good verbal and written communications skills and ability to engage with a wide range of audiences.
• Ability to plan/project manage, prioritise and problem solve.
• Ability to manage your own team of staff and volunteers to ensure daily cost-effective, efficient running of the facility.
• You will be an effective forward-planner with the ability to anticipate and respond quickly to change.
• You will be proficient at using a variety of IT programmes/software including Microsoft 365 especially SharePoint and show an ability to learn unknown/bespoke software packages that are utilised within the RSPB. You will be able to impart this knowledge on others.
• You will have experience of overseeing the administration of the site.
• You will be calm in a crisis, be able to juggle multiple demands on your time and cope well in reactive circumstances.
• You will be confident and assertive in a team environment.
• Ability to provide high levels of customer service.

Desirable skills, knowledge and experience:

• To be confident in building management and deal with trades people.
• Financial management skills to be able to manage a facilities budget (overseen by the site manager) and ensure value-based budgeting. You will work to a high degree of accuracy, flexibility, confidentiality and discretion.
• Knowledge of Environmental Management Systems, including legal compliance, quality management and sustainability of a site.
• Ability to effectively use RSPB systems including eBIS and Assemble. Also, knowledge of IT and network systems is useful.
• Ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
• A facilities management qualification or equivalent.
• Natural history knowledge and knowledge of conservation issues and priorities
