In this multifaceted role, you'll be responsible for both content creation and supporting unpaid Carers to become digitally connected. You will manage and create engaging content for our social media platforms and website as well as maintain the charity’s website, ensuring it stays updated, accessible, and reflective of our mission.
You will conduct digital assessments for Carers to determine their needs—whether they require devices, internet access, or digital skills training and provide 1:1 support to help Carers navigate the digital world with confidence.
Additionally, you will lead group training sessions on topics such as basic digital skills, using online services, and staying safe online.

Our office is based in Downton and that’s where our monthly Executive Team meetings are held. The charity’s board meetings are typically held in London, so applicants are likely to be living in the south of England. The role

About you

Senior Legacy & In Memory Direct Marketing Officer

We are looking for someone to join our team as a Senior Legacy & In Memory Direct Marketing Officer on a fixed term basis, to deliver Battersea’s Legacy and In Memory marketing and fundraising programme by independently managing multi-channel direct and wider marketing campaigns to recruit and attract new Legacy and In Memory donors.
The ideal candidate would have experience planning, implementing and evaluating direct marketing campaigns across a range of media channels, the ability to analyse results of campaigns and a passion for helping dogs and cats.

We are partnering with Tearfund on this new role, which will co-lead the Church and Supporter Engagement team. This role, the Head of Church and Supporter Engagement (Churches), will focus on developing relationships with churches to maximise income and engagement.

Your responsibilities include achieving challenging annual fundraising targets, both cash income and regular giving, aligned with the UK fundraising strategy. - Board Support: Assist with the organisation of Board and Committee meetings, including preparation of agendas, distribution of board packs, and taking accurate minutes.

- Proven experience as a PA or Executive Assistant, preferably within a charity or non-profit organization.

- High degree of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ovacome Support Services Officer, reporting to the Head of Support Services.
Pay scale: £25,500 – £33,000 per year (full time), pro-rata if part time
Hours: 21 hours (part time) to 35 hours (full time) per week, with flexibility around core operational hours.
Location: Home-based with an appropriate working space where confidentiality can be assured. Able to attend monthly meetings in London and travel for work.

Role Description

You will assist in the moderation of the My Ovacome support forum and provide information where required to members.
You will assist in keeping the Support Services information on the Ovacome website up-to-date.
You will keep full, accurate, contemporaneous records of all enquiries following Ovacome policies and procedures, including confidentiality and data protection. You will maintain and update records on the Ovacome database.
You will assist in the organisation and facilitation of Ovacome groups as required.
You will maintain knowledge of clinical and research developments in ovarian cancer through relevant journals, attending conferences and liaison with healthcare professionals.
You will assist with the production of reports as required.
You will participate in regional support events as required, liaising with local services prior to the event.
You will contribute to the Ovacome magazine and our information resources as needed.
