The Opportunity
We are seeking a Programme Officer to join our Work Experience Team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, enthusiastic and confident individual to join us in a role which has responsibility for ensuring suitable and safe work experience placements are sourced, managed and available for students. Our Work Experience programme provides a taster of the ‘World of Work’ helping to raise career aspirations and support academic progression. Our team work with local and central London employers and education providers to source, manage and co-ordinate placements for over 5,000 young people each academic year.
Key Responsibilities of the role include:
- To secure, update and manage work experience placements.

Prospectus is pleased to be working with a homelessness charity based in Newham, whose mission is to provide support to people who find themselves sleeping rough in East London. They do this by providing a safe and welcoming place to stay, and offering support through the provision of personalised support, educational and life skills opportunities. They are now seeking a Service Manager, to oversee their Intensive Support Service (ISS) , on a temporary basis.
As Service Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day development, management, and service delivery of the Intensive Support team, that supports around 50 service users with complex needs, leading, supporting and motivating a team of 7. You will develop practice based on a trauma informed approach, review referrals, and ensure that new Core residents are properly assessed. Supporting the Deputy Manager, you will set team standards, ensuring that monitoring and evaluation regularly takes place, and maintain up to date knowledge in all areas of support, including but not limited to housing law, welfare rights, EEA national eligibility and entitlement, immigration law, substance misuse, mental health, local authority guidance and in homelessness provision.
To be considered for this role you will have significant experience of working with vulnerable adults with complex needs, as well as experience of leading a specialist service delivery team in either a supported housing, advice, homelessness or other relevant environment. You will also have case management experience and be able to deliver best practice with regards to needs assessments, high quality personalised support or advice services to vulnerable adults, including people with complex needs. You will have knowledge and understanding of the housing and support needs of single homeless people and be able to work in a fast paced, high-pressured environment.

About the Role:
As a Hospital Independent Domestic Violence Advisor you will be supporting victims of domestic abuse. This is a key role at the hospitals working alongside the safeguarding team to ensure that victims of domestic abuse have access to appropriate support. As an IDVA you will be:
- Providing a high quality support & advocacy service to victims of domestic abuse
- Managing a caseload; identifying and assessing risks and needs, providing a tailored crisis intervention service through individual safety planning, advocacy, emotional & practical support
- Advocating on behalf of service users to help them access services to keep them safe
- Working within a multi-agency framework to offer a coordinated response to domestic abuse
- Delivering training to hospital staff & local partner agencies
You will need:
- Knowledge of help-seeking barriers and support needs of victims of domestic abuse
- An understanding of domestic abuse & it's impact
- Knowledge of risk assessment, safety planning & risk management
- Understand safeguarding issues, and the legal responsibilities surrounding these issues.
- Experience of direct service delivery to vulnerable people
- Good communication, negotiation and advocacy skills, both written and verbal when interacting with a range of agencies and individuals
- Strong crisis management skills and the ability to deal with stressful and difficult situations.

What will you be doing?
You will be joining Caxton Youth Organisation during an exciting time in our strategy, as we aim to maximise our reach and support the wellbeing of over sixty learning disabled and autistic 11–25-year-olds in Westminster each year, by creating communities, breaking barriers and empowering young people through youth work. You will be central to this, developing a team of youth workers and ensuring our programmes are delivered successfully. Your new company
I am working exclusively with a health-based regulator, and we are looking for a Senior Project Manager (NOT IT) to join the Transformation and Change team on a Permanent, Full-Time basis. You will be expected to work on two major projects. The first of which is to develop a set of standards for registrants who go on and advance their practice/skills by attending further training and on the job experience. The standards will ensure that they continue to provide safe and kind care. The second project looks at ensuring that educational providers for student registrants have courses which stand up to scrutiny and are in line with our code of conduct.
Your new role
The successful candidate will:
- Manage project objects and ensure they are aligned to the local and corporate strategy.
- Develop business cases, project plans and budgets.
- Lead projects throughout the full lifecycle to ensure they are delivered on time and to budget.
- Ensure budget plans and risks are tracked and reported.
- Matrix manage the resources across the organisation.
- Report on project progress to key sponsors and stakeholders.
- Communicate to relevant internal and external stakeholders throughout key stages throughout the project.
What you'll need to succeed
This position is ideal for someone who is:
- Prince2 qualified
- Experienced at managing high value, complex, strategic projects throughout the full lifecycle.
- Experienced of preparing and presenting plans to a wide range of stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Experienced in budget and resource management.
- Good communication skills.
- Experience in NON-TECHNICAL Project Management roles in the Public Sector, ideally health based.

About the role

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the initiative to expand Sense’s ‘talks and training’ offerings by establishing and maintaining relationships with EDI (Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion) professionals and leaders of corporate staff networks.
- Assist Partnership Managers in the day-to-day management and nurturing of existing corporate partnerships, ensuring consistent support and service delivery aligns with Sense’s strategic goals.
- Conduct weekly research to identify corporate foundations and charity of the year opportunities, lead the application process, and support partnership managers by strengthening their pipelines.
