As Finance Manager, you will be at the heart of our charity’s operations, ensuring the smooth delivery of finance, resource, monitoring, HR, and contracting functions. Reporting to the Finance Director, you’ll play a pivotal role in our management team, supporting over 30 staff and managing the Finance and Monitoring Assistant and Office Assistant. Your work will underpin the 11,000+ instances of support we provide each year.

Terms
The role will be based in our office in Eastcote for 3 days per week, with the possibility for home working for the remainder of the time.
Salary: c. £41k FTE. Note the salary listed is a full time equivalent salary based on 35hrs per week, so actual salary will vary depending on hours agreed.
Hours: Part time 21-28hours per week to suit the candidate. Reduced hours available in the school holidays if desired

Job Summary
CAAS provide an ADHD and Autism Support Service for the 8 boroughs of NW London, from our base in Eastcote, with a team of Support Workers. Our work includes offering information, advice, and support to ADHD / autistic people, their families, and professionals in NW London, with the aim of improving quality of life and developing neurodiverse-aware communities. Some of the support is offered through one2one meetings, some of the support is provided through groups and courses which aim to increase understanding and awareness, and provide opportunities for peer support, and some of the support is offered through training and workshops to educate professionals and drive for accommodations to be made to services to allow greater access for our client group.
As Finance Manager you will report to and work closely with the Finance Director and have responsibility for the operational delivery of the finance, resource, monitoring, HR and contracting work streams within the charity. The role sits within the management group at CAAS, alongside the Youth, Adult and Family Service managers and the Client Programmes Director and manages the Finance and Monitoring Assistant and the Office Assistant.
The Finance Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the infrastructure and operational delivery at the charity are effective for the more than 30 staff we employ, and the more than 11,000 instances of support we provide each year. Therefore, we are looking for a capable, calm, self-motivated, organised and hard-working accountant who is looking to move into a senior finance role, from any commercial, statutory or charitable background.
The role requires strong organisation skills, excellent communication skills, experience of management accounting and reporting, and an understanding of HR and payroll operations. You will ideally have some line management or project management experience to draw on in this role. Ultimately you will have the drive to ensure that everyone who works for us, and everyone who seeks support from us, has the best possible experience.
There is no requirement for any experience of, or understanding of ADHD / autistic individuals, as we will provide training on the conditions. A genuine acceptance of diversity and a keenness to make an impact are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning, Management and Reporting
· Prepare accurate, timely and well controlled and documented monthly and quarterly accounts. Share the outcomes of your reviews with the Finance Director, and ensure the accounts are reported in an meaningful way.
· Support in the preparation of Trustee reporting
· Support in the preparation and audit of the annual statutory accounts.
· Support with the annual budget and periodic reforecast processes to ensure the timely and appropriate provision of information to facilitate necessary adjustments to operational activity and appropriate decision making around cash investments.
· Ensure processes and procedures are carried out on a timely and effective basis to ensure financial policies and procedures are adhered to, and any control weaknesses mitigated and improvement plans in place
· Maintain records to ensure accurate restricted and unrestricted fund allocation.
· Be accountable for operating effective controls and oversight regarding contracts with freelancers, volunteers or other suppliers
· Deliver all day-to-day finance and cash management operations, scheduling, tracking and fulfilling invoices and payments, providing accurate bookkeeping, approving payment runs and reconciled balance sheets, detailed records re credit card and other payment platforms, and generally work to use and improve the financial systems in place to ensure the charity’s overall stability and sustainability.
· Review and update funder schedule allocations, ensuring invoices raised on time and costs allocated correctly.
· Review and approve Customer and Supplier invoices, review of month end information from finance team. Creation and posting of month end journals, reviewing the month end accounts to budget and analysing any discrepancies.
· Supporting the Finance Director and CEO on adhoc reports or analysis
· As a member of the management group participate in cross team working meetings and management meetings, and build relationships with the other members of the management group such that you become an integral support resource to them as they deliver for our clients.
Resource & IT Management
· Hold responsibility for arranging and maintaining the charity IT and phone hardware and software
· Act as first line IT support for charity staff
· Hold the relationship with the external IT provider and liaise to ensure appropriate on and off boarding and security arrangements.
· Manage our internal personnel and H&S support programmes, such as our EAP provider, our training providers and our office maintenance systems.
· Maintain the charity asset register, and complete the necessary operational tasks to ensure the charity is appropriately resourced to provide effective infrastructure backdrop for our staff.
Monitoring Management, Reporting and Impact Evaluation
· Carry out the necessary regular reviews and support so that our CRM records are complete and accurate in respect of work performed, and prepare and distribute monthly, quarterly and annual monitoring reports internally.
· Prepare monitoring reports for funders on quarterly basis as and when required
· Ensure best practice in monitoring collection and evaluation, including managing GDPR processes, creating appropriate forms, and communicating deadlines and requirements to all staff.
· Operate as the internal first line of support for our CRM system and consequent monitoring reporting tools, to ensure they are accurate, regularly reviewed and procedures documented and continuously improved.
· Prepare impact and distance travelled statistics for our external communications, to support our fundraising efforts.
HR and Payroll Operations
· Deliver on the necessary onboarding and offboarding processes for staff, including complying with on our safer recruitment requirements, creating contracts and contract variation letters, supporting staff with timesheets and other records of work, carrying out pension operations and supporting with interview arrangements.
· Carry out the delivery of the monthly payroll process, including preparation and review of the payroll files, carrying out calculations around overtime pay etc, providing an accurate and well controlled process, and enabling payments to be made on the pay date each month. Processing the payroll journals on a monthly basis

This role will join the Acquisition and Welcome Team, and will help to optimise acquisition activity, managing key channels including Direct Response TV (DRTV) and inserts, to support ambitious supporter growth as part of the charity’s 5-year strategy. As part of the role, you will manage all aspects of the DRTV programme, from working closely with agencies to proposing annual testing plans, to delivering all tests across media, SMS, telemarketing and website landing pages. This role requires managing agencies effectively, and maintaining robust reporting. You will be the expert in this area, and will raise understanding within Brooke of the importance of DRTV.
To be successful in the role of Senior Acquisition and Welcome Officer, you will need:
- Proven experience working in a fundraising or marketing role, with some experience managing DRTV and print channels, either on client or agency side.

Terms and conditions and staff benefits
The role is a full-time, 5-day-week (35 hours) position.
The salary is £38,000 - £43,000 per annum depending upon experience.

About the role
The Senior Volunteer officer will work to involve the local community in enhancing and taking care of the park and will support all areas of the Trust’s work, including visitor experience, gardening and supporting the delivery of the Trust’s growing public programme of seasonal, community-focused activities and events. You will work as part of the project team that includes a new Senior Community Engagement Officer. The postholder will also create opportunities for paid sandwich placements, internships and work placements.
The role is offered on a two year fixed term contract with Crystal Palace Park Trust. Any extension after 31 December 2026 is subject to funding.

Line Manager: Digital Communications Lead
Your responsibilities will include:
Social media delivery and community management
- Plan and deliver inspiring and effective social media content, including as part of engagement campaigns, fundraising appeals and initiative launches, and in support of our partners and members.
- Produce text- and video-/graphic-based social media posts and campaigns that are both suited to our target audiences and adapted for the most appropriate social channels.
- Carry out community management across the charity's digital channels, triaging queries and drafting responses.
- Assist with the optimisation of Rewilding Britain's current social media channels and the identification of new opportunities/platforms/trends that would help further our mission.
Email communications
- Support the Communications and Engagement team with the planning, building and scheduling of email communications (campaigns, supporters, fundraising, corporate partners etc) within Mailchimp.
- Assist with the AB testing of our email marketing and executing a plan of continuous improvement for our emails.
- Support with managing our enquiry inboxes as and when required.
Reporting and optimising
- Collate statistics on the performance of our social and email channels, in line with our KPIs, and work closely with the Digital Communications Lead to make ongoing recommendations for our output.
- Implement feedback and lessons learned to refine and improve our social media approach.
- Stay current with sector and specialist trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously grow the effectiveness of our channels, particularly social media.
Communications support
- Take responsibility for triaging internal requests for content output across our channels and coordinate this across the Communications and Engagement team.
- Assist the team in keeping our image library up to date, by uploading and tagging new imagery.
- Support the team by uploading content to Rewilding Britain's website, following best practice. You may also provide support for more involved web optimisation projects.
- Support with the preparation and delivery of online and in-person events. As well as providing social media and email support, this could include representing Rewilding Britain alongside other team members at events, exhibitions, workshops, conferences, rallies and more.
- Contribute to content production across the team, where relevant, such as producing blogs or carrying out image research.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This role will combine three core elements: (1) ensuring coordination of SteelWatch communications activities, across all our multiple initiatives and timezones, ensuring great content, targeted reach, timeliness, coherence of message and coordinated plans; (2) ongoing and surge delivery of comms products and messages, such as media outreach, social media, thought pieces, particularly in Europe/Africa and sometimes US timezone. This will align with delivery of comms work in Japan/Asia led by colleagues in the region. (3) sharpening our communications strategy, our targets, and our ability to deliver our messages to the right people, shaped jointly with our Asia/Pacific based comms strategist.
The role requires coordination across the small and growing comms team, which is diverse in terms of experience level, region and expertise. It also requires hands-on delivery in your region/timezone and based on your own specialist skills. Media engagement is currently a gap we need to fill and an ideal candidate will lead and deliver our media work, as well as coordinating our wider comms. If the successful candidate excels in other strengths but not media, then we - and you - will need to build the team differently in terms of future recruits and consultants.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a dynamic Corporate Campaigner who will lead, develop and implement creative campaigns and strategies to drive change in steel companies. This will require using multiple pressure points across the steel value chain; shifting narratives, engaging with national campaigns, exposing inadequacy of climate plans, harnessing investor pressure, driving demands for green steel and much more. The Corporate Campaigner will work closely with our CSO allies, notably from European Fossil Free Steel Network (EFFSN) and Fair Steel Coalition, to contribute to the impacts of the wider ecosystem and to sharply define the role of SteelWatch and its campaigns. This is likely to involve collaborations beyond Europe, in North America, Africa, Asia or Latin America. As a member of the first international climate NGO specialising in steel decarbonisation, you will work with other SteelWatch team members located across Asia-Pacific, Africa, and Europe.
For the steel industry to move toward decarbonisation, technological advancement is not the only solution. We need to fundamentally drive systemic changes to the long-held methods of steel production, the iron and steel value chain and the industrial structure, and going further, the relationship between the steel industry and the future of the decarbonised society. We are looking for someone who is able to use their creativity to engage not only in negotiations to achieve GHG emissions reductions, but also in critical thinking to provoke dialogues about what our climate needs from the industry’s corporate actors and other stakeholders today, to ensure a better future for people and the planet.

What will I be doing?
• You will be a key player in delivering the strategy to maximise income from a portfolio of both current and lapsed charitable trust donors, awarding grants min £30,000+
• Establish, maintain and develop personalised relationships with funders through consistent, creative and innovative stewardship – we are open to your ideas!
• Research, approach and establish relationships with lapsed and prospective funders, to build new relationships and support pipeline development and growth for future funding
• Support senior colleagues at external events and meetings
• Identify, maintain and develop a portfolio of appropriate funding proposals
• Ensure prompt and accurate reporting to donors in your portfolio
• Develop and maintain annual work plans and database systems
• Report on performance against agreed budgets and targets
The key skills we’re looking for in this role are:
• High-value trust fundraising, with a successful track record of achieving ambitious fundraising targets.
• We also need demonstrable experience of trust proposal development.
• Experience of researching funding prospects (with knowledge of source materials) is also key
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must
• Ability to absorb complex information and present it in a clear, logical and appropriate manner
• Ability to work as part of a team – the role requires collaboration with both managers and peers
• Ability to develop relationships internally and externally
• Comfortable building and working with project budgets and contributing to team budgeting

ESOL Coordinator Vacancy
Learn English at Home (LEAH) is looking for a motivated, dynamic, and flexible individual with experience in the community, voluntary, or education sectors to join their team. You should have a background of working with people from diverse communities who have limited English.
The ideal candidate will have experience in assessing learners for ESOL, coordinating and supervising volunteers, and organising workshops and classes. Strong communication skills, both written and oral, are essential, as well as the ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities. IT literacy and the ability to monitor outcomes using databases are crucial.
You should be adept at working independently both face to face across our boroughs and online. While also being a team player who can help the team meet its targets. An ESOL qualification or relevant equivalent would be desirable, along with knowledge of local services and demographics.

This is an exciting time to join TCV and our newly created TFL team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, confident individual - someone who wants to make a difference and is always willing to go the extra mile and leads by example.

You will be responsible for developing and bringing to life this new approach for TCV - with an ambition to secure national and or multi-regional funding, enabling us to connect even more people to green spaces.
Ideally you will have already worked in the charity sector and are able to demonstrate experience in leading a team to secure an annual income in excess of £1m across various funding streams.
You should be confident in your ability to set ambitious goals and high standards - and be capable and experienced in leading and supporting a team to achieve both the goals and the standards. You will have ultimate responsibility for leading on both identifying and creating a pipeline of TFL funding streams to meet our annual income target.
As the lead for the TFL team, you must be confident in your ability to communicate our case for support to your team, and to both our internal and external stakeholders, ensuring our proposals are compelling, well thought out and deliver value and impact for both our funding partners and TCV.
We would expect you to be skilled and experienced in writing compelling funding applications and be able to critique and act as a sounding board for your teams own individual applications.
