Recovery Coordinator - Rough Sleepers Team - Southwark
A Recovery Coordinator is required to join the rough sleeper's team of a Drug and Alcohol service in Southwark, on an initial temporary basis.
This contract will run for 6 months, with the possibility of extension.
The service is willing to train up new recruits, so if you are passionate about working in this sector, this is an amazing opportunity to get your foot in the door.
Responsibilities:
- Encouragement of people with drug, alcohol, or mental health needs to use the program - This is through outreach shifts that take place 1-2 times per week.
- Advise on harm minimisation.
- Assisting colleagues who are a part of the rapid prescribing service.
- Establishing connections with hostels, adult social care, mental health, and assistance for rough sleepers.
- Encouraging people on their recovery journey and assisting them in being prepared to attend Tier 4 services if necessary.
- Possibilities to learn naloxone training, working with drug and alcohol clients, chemsex substances and how to help clients currently using them, harm reduction training, recovery work, and DBST training.

What will I be doing?

What are you looking for?
Consumer-focused Research/ Insight professional with a background in quantitative market research techniques.

As a Programme Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the seamless execution of all student-related events. Accountabilities
There are three main activities within the France team:

The Programme Coordinator will serve as the administrative officer for the team. Job Overview

Role Description
We are looking for a senior leader, with extensive experience in education project and/or programme management, who can lead a fast-growing team within a mission-driven organisation. You will be a core member of the Executive Leadership Team, in particular working closely with the interim CEO, the Chief Operations Officer, the Director of Impact and the charity’s Senior Programmes Leaders. You will have direct exposure to the Board of Trustees and the unique opportunity to fundamentally shape the organisation and its direction.
The Chief Programmes Officer will be responsible for all aspects of programme delivery, including providing strategic direction and day-to-day oversight of the programmes delivery team, business development and stakeholder management with new partners in further education, and reviewing and improving delivery across all our programmes. Main Duties and Responsibilities
Executive Leadership

Job Purpose
To manage the site of Ada’s London Victoria campus, 1 Sutherland Street, so that it is operating safely and efficiently. This involves liaising with contractors and suppliers to plan, coordinate and implement the inspection, maintenance and repair of the internal and external fabric of the building and any machinery or plant within the building. To be responsible for the Health and Safety compliance of the site and oversee the security of the premises to provide a safe and secure environment for all learners, staff and visitors.
Main duties and responsibilities
Facilities management
- Manage the opening and closing of the College for normal hours of operation
- For out of hours College events or venue hire, arrange for the opening and closing of the building and necessary services (heating, cleaning, equipment etc). Liaise with the wider premises team for cover arrangements for these out of hours events.
- Be the principal registered Key Holder, attend call outs and take appropriate action, put in place arrangements for dealing with emergencies which occur outside normal working hours.
- Work with the Head of Premises, and wider premises team, to put in place cost effective facilities management and cleaning contracts for the building and manage those contracts on an ongoing basis.
- Coordinate and implement routine inspections, repairs, redecoration/refurbishments of the College building, equipment and external environment, including annual, monthly, weekly and daily inspections.
- Investigate and report site issues promptly, providing possible solutions, obtaining quotes and initiating repair / maintenance
- Manage and supervise any building contractors undertaking work on the College’s premises. Ensure that any issues with contractors are promptly followed up.
- Work with the appropriate contractors to operate and maintain the building’s systems (e.g. heating and ventilation systems) to an effective standard
- Carry out minor repairs and practical jobs where this is within your expertise
- Plan and manage all room preparation requests for College events such as assemblies, meetings, industry projects/speakers and events and ensure that they are actioned in a timely manner.

The Activity Service is an important part of our organisation, delivering high quality activities to the older people of Merton. Our Activity team create and deliver a wide range of activities including a daily lunch club, crafting, poetry, singing and exercises at our centre in Mitcham and other locations across the borough of Merton.

- Raise specific funding to develop a small team of Regional Champions in the regions of the UK, working part-time to grow our network of Single Friendly Churches;
- Secure grant support to refresh our research in order to identify the issues facing single people in the Church and how ‘single friendly’ churches are across the UK.
The Fundraising Consultant will regularly engage with our UK based team and provide quarterly reports to our Trustees. Ideally the Consultant will have the necessary skills to process Gift Aid claims.
The target for funds raised within 12 months is £100K. This will require creativity and a range of initiatives, targeting different potential funding sources.
Person Spec:
- Experience of developing and implementing fundraising strategies for charities;
- Able to provide evidence of significant success in fundraising;
- Record of working collaboratively with teams;
- An understanding of Christian culture and the different Christian traditions;
- Experience of fundraising for Christian-based charities;
- A strong commitment to our beliefs and mission to encourage churches to welcome and value single people at every stage of life.
Contract Terms
Initially this is a 12 month contract
At least 20 hours per month on a freelance basis
Negotiable fees according to experience, in the range £40-£70 per hr

Our client provides a rapid response service, intervening to ensure no one needs to sleep rough, their work is ongoing and they are currently looking for people to join their services across London.
As an Assessment and Reconnection Worker, you will:

Be part of a busy team environment working closely with people new to, or at risk of rough sleeping. lly involves the client. th

Build and maintain effective relationships to support clients throughout their recovery.

Develop a knowledge of relevant legislation such as, welfare benefit and housing legislation.

Work on a weekly rota including early, mid and late shifts (some evening and weekend work may be required).
