Partners for a New Economy is an international philanthropic fund focused on transforming our economy for nature and all people to flourish. We were founded in 2015 by, a group of environmental funders who  wanted to challenge and fix the root causes of environmental degradation that lie within our economic system.  Since then, we have worked globally with innovative thinkers, organisations, and movements to reimagine and redesign economic systems to create a paradigm shift.  Our grant-making has a strong nature lens, nurturing new economic ideas and building power for transformative, systemic change.

As the Partnership Development Lead, you will be instrumental in driving efforts to expand our network of funders and partners, and help to double our income and enable our grantees to achieve much, much more.  A commitment to our cause will drive you, as you   proactively research and identify potential Funder Partners, and work with the team to design and deliver engagement and cultivation strategies to secure their support.  It will therefore be important that you are a self-starter with a collaborative and entrepreneurial spirit, and you bring a track record in securing philanthropic income, ideally at the 6-figure level or more.  Your strong relationship building skills and can-do attitude will underpin your success in our small and resourceful team.  It will also be important for you to be able to work in the detail without losing sight of the bigger ambition, and be comfortable with navigating new or ambiguous areas with a solutions-orientated mindset.   

Although location is flexible, availability during European working hours is essential, as other staff are based in London, Copenhagen and Geneva.

Dementia has a devastating impact on individuals, their families and society, at a cost of £42bn a year. Through our policy work, we are going to change that. As the UK’s largest dementia charity, the Alzheimer’s Society has thrown its weight behind achieving the better diagnosis, social care and treatment that people living with dementia urgently need.
In this role, you’ll work on evidence-based, collaborative, engaging and innovative policymaking across our Evidence, Policy & Influencing team. You’ll play a key part in determining what Alzheimer’s Society thinks about the big issues affecting people living with dementia today and help to drive major, impactful system and policy change across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
As Policy Officer, you’ll support Policy Managers to implement policy development strategies and be an expert policy advisor to colleagues across the Society.  You’ll also help to build compelling arguments to convince decision-makers of the need for action on dementia, empowered by robust evidence and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders.

This is a homeworking role, but you may be required to travel to attend meetings, events and team-days, so you must reside in the UK, have the correct right to work documents to work in the UK and be comfortable/willing to travel to our offices (London or Birmingham) if/when required. To support the growth in Wild Impact’s conservation and sustainable development impact, it is recruiting a UK based Senior Partnerships Manager, who will be responsible for developing and implementating a UK and W. Europe focused fundraising drive. Expectation is that the successful individual will be able to increase our existing annual fundraising level of ~$750,000 by an additional ~$ 750,000 by 2026, and thereafter increase their personal fundraising contribution by at least 20% per annum.

The successful applicant will report jointly to the Wild Impact South Africa CEO and the Trustees of Africa Foundation (UK) and work closely with the worldwide Wild Impact Fundraising and Partnerships team.

KEY OUTPUTS:

Development and management of a UK and W. Europe based fundraising and partnerships strategy that will enable the implementation of the shared Wild Impact and &Beyond Impact strategy, including:

o The drafting and submission of all project profiles and grant applications.

o Development and dissemination of all donor and partner communications.

o The delivery and progressive improvement of all donor and partner reports.

o Actively engaging with all donors and partners, which will include significant regional and international travelling.

o Representing Wild Impact at Fundraising events and relevant conferences and workshops focused on Conservation and Rural Community Development.

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Minimum of a Graduate degree.
• Good understanding of biodiversity conservation, climate resilience and sustainable rural development.
• Proven experience in developing, leading and nurturing fundraising strategies, including individual, corporate, government, bilateral agency and foundation partnerships.
• Proven ability to establish and nurture Impact partnerships.
• Excellent communication, Information Technology, and financial management skills.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

• Diligence, tenacity, self-motivated, ability to influence, disciplined.
• Strong knowledge of project implementation, data management, analysis and reporting.

Your Role
We are seeking a Senior Communications & PR Leader to drive impactful internal and external communications and strengthen our global network. You will be responsible for developing and executing a dynamic communications strategy while building strong relationships with media partners to raise awareness of our global alliance and its achievements. This is a hands-on role ideal for a candidate who excels at strategic thinking but is also comfortable with content creation using own copywriting and visual skills, as well as guiding other content creators from volunteering partners.

We are looking for someone who shares the DfG mission, has a passion for storytelling, and excels at strategising and delivering innovative communication and PR initiatives. Additionally, the ideal candidate will also possess exceptional communication skills to engage effectively within our global network, connecting diverse audiences and their communication departments. CleanupUK is recruiting eight Community Cleanup Champions to work closely with our partner organisations in one of the following areas, encouraging local litter picking via our Cleanup Hub network:

Cleanup hubs are spaces to store equipment for individuals and groups in the community to use. By hosting this equipment and loaning it out, Cleanup Hubs are championing volunteering in the community and promoting litter picking. 

CleanupUK provides equipment and promotional support to help Cleanup Hubs get started with litter picking and engaging local people.   

Cleanup Champions work closely with Cleanup Hubs and other partner organisations to encourage more people to get involved in litter picking locally. 

We are keen to find cheerful people, with a sense of fun, who care about the environment and enjoy chatting to people of all backgrounds.   

Main Purpose of the Role:   

• To increase the number of people borrowing litter picking equipment from the Cleanup Hubs in your local area. 

• To represent CleanupUK at a local level by attending litter picking events and supporting the development of the Cleanup Hub network.   

• To develop strong relationships with partner organisations in the community: 

• Supporting existing Cleanup Hubs to increase levels of engagement in their area by contacting new groups. 

• Research and develop potential new partner organisations. 

Key Tasks include:   

• Liaising with Cleanup Hubs and local communities.  

• Hosting and attending events and reporting back to CleanpUK’s Operational Team.   

• Helping to keep active records of the litter picking that is taking place. This includes: ensuring litter picking statistics are being logged online by hubs, taking photos for our social media channels, and making notes on our shared database. 

• Promoting the project locally, both on the ground and online.   

• Online research to help us to identify new community partners, and attending online or face to face meetings with new prospective partners. 

• Attending monthly team meetings online.   

• Developing an awareness of local funding opportunities and communicating these to our fundraising team.

• Occasional support to CleanupUK’s corporate partnership team may also be required such as leading a litter picking for a company.

Role description

The Communities Lead is a critical role in developing and delivering the Centre for Excellence in Community Investment, facilitating its national and local thematic networks, engaging with colleagues across and beyond the social housing sector and identifying potential opportunities for collaboration. We’re all about fostering communities of practice and supporting the sector to have a transformative impact in local communities it works alongside across the UK.

Working closely with the Head of Communities and Projects, the Communities and Network Lead will ensure that the activities of the Centre’s networks align with and inform the overarching strategy of the Centre for Excellence in Community Investment. Our networks are spaces for learning, collaboration, problem solving and building positive social impact.

As well as providing a light touch secretariat function to the networks, the post-holder will coordinate activities, identify potential speakers and liaise with network chairs to deliver programmes of work that engage and generate impact.

The Communities and Network Lead will be comfortable representing HACT and the Centre externally, identifying emerging trends and working with the Head of Communities and Projects, and other HACT colleagues, to support the delivery of a programme of work that delivers lasting impact across the social housing sector at a national level.

Key responsibilities

 • Leading the development and delivery of the Centre for Excellence in Community Investment’s numerous networks, involving people across the housing sector in agreeing each network’s purpose, governance, membership and activity.

• Work closely with the Head of Communities to ensure that network activities align with and inform the overarching strategy and aims of the Centre for Excellence in Community Investment.

• Identify new opportunities for collaboration, working with network members to understand the outcomes they hope to achieve and with the Head of Communities and Projects and the Head of Business Development to develop potential project proposals.

• Developing and delivering project plans for each network, collating relevant metrics in order to report on progress internally and to project funders, as required.

• Support network groups, organising meetings, liaising with participants, involving them in key decisions, reporting on progress, shaping workplans.

• Identify new individuals, groups and organisations that will be of interest to the networks.

• Identify needs and opportunities across the community investment sector for capacity building support, consultancy and subscriptions.

• Collaborate closely with HACT’s marketing colleagues to share regular news and opportunities with our partners and to help share the stories of community investment.

Role description

 The Head of Social Value (HoSV) is HACT’s specialist subject matter expert on social value and impact measurement. The post holder will be able to clearly explain what social value means and have knowledge of a range of impact measurement methodologies and how they can be applied in different contexts.

The HoSV will ensure that HACT maintains its position at the forefront of social value and impact measurement thinking, constantly identifying areas for innovation and development. The post holder will also build and strengthen relationships with customers by providing quality social value consultancy, training and research.

The HoSV will have regular contact with HACTs strategic partner, SImetrica-Jacobs, ensuring there is 2-way dialogue based on market intelligence, understanding competitors and any other feedback which will positively support HACTs position in the social value space.

Working at the cutting edge of how social impact measurement is used within the built environment, the post holder will have an enthusiasm to lead new thinking and the ability to be flexible, adaptable and to thrive on the challenge of working in a developing area and work closely with the Head of Services and Head of Customer to develop the product map.

The HoSV will be the ‘go to’ person within HACT for social value and will represent HACT as an expert in this field in the sector.

Responsibilities

 • Be the subject matter expert for social value and impact measurement at HACT, providing guidance and expertise internally to HACT colleagues and externally to customers. Role description

 The Research Programme Manager (RPM) is a key member of the HACT Services Team, with responsibility for successfully managing the delivery of research and consultancy projects across HACT’s Services portfolio. HACT’s Services portfolio has four key workstream, including: social value, health, data and housing and communities.

The RPM role involves the design and development of research and consultancy projects; set up and ongoing management of these projects; and effective engagement with HACT colleagues and Associates, partners and other stakeholders to ensure that work is delivered to a high standard of quality. The ideal candidate will bring strong programme management skills, interest in HACT’s areas of work, and a proven track record of managing research and consultancy projects throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

 Key responsibilities include:

• Leading on the design, set up, management and delivery of multiple research and consultancy projects across the HACT Services portfolio.

• Implementing robust project management processes and protocols, in line with best practice. This will involve routinely reviewing risks, issues and progress and taking actions as necessary to ensure minimum impact on project deadlines.

• Developing and implementing appropriate research methodologies, evaluation

strategies and research tools and analysis into research and consultancy projects.

Right now, we’re looking for a database expert with experience of managing and developing CRM systems such as Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce. About the team 

This role sits within the Business Enablement team within Shelter’s Technology & Data (T&D) Department, which is made up of 30+ people based across the country with bases in London, Sheffield, and Edinburgh. The T&D Department is accountable for developing and leading Shelter’s technology and data strategic priorities, providing a secure infrastructure, management of data and insight to underpin strategic outcomes, delivery of technology change projects, data governance and the provision of support for a range of software, systems, and platform tools.
