(£53,606 per annum full time equivalent)

Location: Usually this role can be based at any one of the Arts Council of Wales offices in Cardiff, Colwyn Bay or Carmarthen. We are currently working in a hybrid way.

Our benefits include 30 days annual leave, 2.5 privilege days, flexible working hours/pattern, cycle to work scheme and a final salary pension (6%).

About Portfolio Managers

Portfolio Managers are senior arts professionals who combine their significant arts expertise with their strong business knowledge to help practically deliver a range of initiatives linked to the Arts Council of Wales’ priorities. Portfolio Managers are also line managers to the Development Officers.

Responsibilities linked to this role include:

  • Welsh language arts development
  • Public partnerships, including Local Authorities

About you

If you are someone who has previous experience of working in the arts or communities and can inspire confidence in the sector, this role could be for you. You will need to be a problem solver and creative thinker, and also know how to be productive, organised and how to get things done. We can teach you the skills you’ll need if you are curious and driven enough to be part of our team.

Welsh language

We work in both English and Welsh. Excellent spoken and written communication skills and the ability to confidently converse both written and orally in Welsh and English – to maintain effective relationships at senior levels both internally and externally – are essential for this post..
