About us

Who we are

Physics Partners is a small charity dedicated to improving physics education in UK schools. We support teachers, particularly non-specialists, to deliver engaging and effective physics lessons.

  • We provide workshops and CPD sessions to enhance teachers' skills and subject knowledge.
  • We create teaching reources to support teachers of physics.
  • We connect physics teachers and technicians through local hubs and events, to share best practices and build peer support networks.
  • We engage with students through study day and STEM Festivals, to spark their interest in physics.

At Physics Partners we are passionate about physics education. We aim to make an impact on physics education, empowering future innovators and problem solvers. 

We aim to inspire teachers and students to develop a lasting interest in physics, recognising its importance in understanding the world and its crucial role in supporting the UK economy and achieving net zero through STEM careers. We value partnership, building a strong network of teachers and stakeholders to enhance physics education collectively.

As a small, remote-working team, we prioritise teamwork and innovation, enabling us to stay agile and seize opportunities to make the greatest impact possible.
