Main responsibilities

• Helping to execute our natural capital plans, which directly and critically enables woodland and habitat creation on the ambitious scale ANT has planned

• Staying up to date with market developments and trends and communicating key updates to the ANT team, including participating in regional market-making workshops

Job Purpose

· To manage the delivery of Young Marketeers in Plymouth in four primary schools

Background to School Food Matters

School Food Matters (SFM) exists to teach children about food and to improve children’s access to healthy, sustainable food during their time at school. We provide fully funded food education programmes to schools. Our experience delivering these programmes informs and strengthens our campaigns, bringing the voices of children, parents and teachers to government policy.

Young Marketeers

This much-loved programme was started in London in 2012. It is now running in 12 cities across England and is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund for three years.  The programme provides hands-on opportunities for children from primary schools to grow fruit and veg from seed to sell at their local market. Young Marketeers is also a platform for School Food Matters to promote food education to schools and communities as a way to support children to live happy and healthy lives.  Children learn the art of growing veg from seed, and market traders will share their secrets on how to create a winning market stall.  Primary schools will be visited by our gardener in March/April and then again in May/June and receive further tips on how to ensure a bumper crop. And in July, they head to the market to sell their produce, and to meet the mayor!

Key Tasks include:

· Assist with recruitment of four schools to take part in Young Marketeers

· Build and maintain relationships with teachers, teaching assistants and senior leaders to ensure the smooth running of the project

· Build and support relationships with contacts in partner organisations

· Schedule, organise and deliver

o One assembly in each school

o Two food growing sessions in each school

o One market trader training session in each school

o Market Day in the city centre in July for four schools

· Maintain accurate records relating to the programme

• Complete monitoring and evaluation forms in accordance with instructions from our Evaluation team

• Keep Development Manager fully updated on progress

The Role

The Senior Individual Giving Officer will act as a source of fundraising expertise in the Direct Marketing and wider development team, as well as the global Development and Marketing teams. Lead on devising a digital strategy that will maximise supporter engagement and acquisition, and thus grow individual giving income, with the input of the Direct Marketing Manager

Mercy Corps Europe's fundraising team is in a growth phase and there are many opportunities to innovate. Essential Job Responsibilities

Supporter development

●Lead on integrating online and offline fundraising, offering supporters a cross-platform experience

●Lead on innovating our digital offering - taking ideas from conception through to testing and beyond

●Work with the Individual Giving Officer to innovate our fundraising offerings and find new ways of acquiring supporters

●Ensure that Mercy Corps grows the number of engaged supporters and income across channels to meet targets

●Responsible for day-to-day implementation of digital campaigns and activity (including email, PPC, social, programmatic and display), to deliver against set targets

●With support from the rest of the team, develop and edit digital fundraising content suitable for target audiences, such as prospective online donors or re-engaging lapsed donors, ensuring consistency with Mercy Corps branding and style guidelines

Living Condition

• You will provide a mix of data control and broader operational tasks, supporting the Senior Operations Manager in their day-to-day operational management of the Charity, enhancing the charity’s ability to grow and adapt.
• You will supports ongoing GDPR compliance and data security by maintaining and updating data policies, participating in reviews, supporting teams, and assisting with the effective management of data subject access requests and data breaches.
• You will provide administrative support to the training team, using Salesforce to follow up and report on enquiries.
• You will assist with the documentation and tracking of partnership agreements and deliverables, and onboarding requirements of clients and funders.
• You will provide ad hoc support to the wider team with administrative tasks to ensure smooth operational delivery

About you

• You will have proven experience in a busy operations support role; excellent organisational and time management skills, with attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively and meet deadlines.
• You will have experience with data protection and privacy requirements, including implementing GDPR-compliant processes, managing sensitive data securely, and providing practical guidance and training to others. 
• You will have experience of using Salesforce or another similar CRM to manage and report on data.
• You will have exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, including the ability to present data insights visually and clearly.
• You will have experience in supporting operational processes, such as managing expenses, coordinating logistics, and contributing to process improvements.

Our partner, a young, growing grant making organisation, who are looking to develop their grants finance function. As part of this, they are looking to recruit a Grants Officer to oversee a substantial grants portfolio, overseeing the financial management of the grants. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate interested in a career in international development.

Responsibilities

• Support in undertaking due diligence on new and existing grantees, including financial eligibility checks.
• Lead in the financial management of the grants, including reviewing the budgets submitted by grantees, undertaking expenditure verification and other financial management checks, and reviewing their audited financial statements.
• Provide technical assistance and guidance as requested and required, online and on occasion during in-person monitoring visits.

Requirements

• Astute, detail-oriented individual with a deep interest in international development.
• Strong communication and relationship building skills – able to work effectively with different members of the team and organisation, and also externally with grantees.
• Experience of and interest in working on finance, with experience of undertaking due diligence, risk assessment and grants management desirable.
• Able to work flexibly, prioritise a varied and changing workload, take initiative and meet tight deadlines.
• Competent IT user, including intermediate/advanced MsExcel user.

Antibiotic Research UK  (ANTRUK) is the UK patient organisation for people impacted by antibiotic and antimicrobial resistance (AMR). Our legitimacy to advocate for change, with policy makers and NHS organisations, comes from our small-scale research projects, our engagement with patients and their families, and from our direct support of patients through our information service and peer-support activities.

As part of a planned expansion, we are now looking to appoint a Patient Empowerment Coordinator. This is an exciting new role with an opportunity to build upon our existing patient engagement activities and to develop new workstreams for 2025 and beyond.

As a Content Officer, you’ll play a critical role in driving our digital engagement. By creating compelling content for our social media, website and email programmes, you’ll help us attract, inspire, and mobilise more people to stand against hate. 

Your role will include:

• Content Creation: Write, design, and produce engaging content, including social media posts, emails, website copy and more. Use tools like Canva, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and CapCut to create graphics and videos from new and existing footage. 

• Digital Campaigns: Work with the Digital Lead to plan and execute creative campaigns that inspire action and raise funds. 

• Audience Engagement: Build and manage our presence on Instagram, Facebook, Linkedin, X, and BlueSky, and engage with supporters through other platforms. Act as the first point of contact for supporters, responding to messages and comments and managing replies. 

• Performance Monitoring: Run tests on content across platforms, analyse results, and use insights to refine and improve our engagement strategies. 

What we think you’ll need to be able to do the job:

Essential

• 1+ year of experience in digital work for a campaign, charity, or political organisation. 

• Creativity and strong ideas for engaging content. 

• Experience in copywriting, graphic design, and video production and tools like Canva, Premiere Pro, Photoshop and CapCut. 

• Strong organisational skills, and ability to prioritise effectively. 

Desirable: 

• Knowledge and experience in the areas we work on would be an advantage – tackling the far right; building community resilience against hate, division and oppression; and campaigning against policies that fuel hate. 

• Experience using tools like Engaging Networks or WordPress.
