The postholder will provide advice, guidance and coaching to parents and carers of children aged 11+ years to help them to develop new awareness and skills to enhance their support to their children through a combination of group-work and one-to-one sessions. We are looking to recruit an empathic, warm, friendly, hard-working and flexible person who is passionate about supporting parents and carers whose children are experiencing emotional wellbeing and mental health difficulties. They must be a team player with excellent communication and organisational skills, able to prioritise and manage their own workload. They must be able to work independently within the community.

-To work collaboratively and effectively with statutory and voluntary agencies 
to identify parents/carers in need of support and to agree effective referral 
processes.

– To design, develop and deliver workshops and presentations for small 
parent/carer groups covering a range of emotional wellbeing and mental 
health topics.

– To facilitate peer-to-peer support and discussion groups.

– To offer one or more one-to-one consultation and advice sessions for 
parents/carers who need a more personalised approach.

– To identify a range of specialist services and agencies who can offer further 
support for parents and families.

– To work in partnership with YMCA East Surrey’s Face2Face service.

– To work in partnership with Home-Start Epsom, Ewell and Banstead who will 
provide support to parents/carers with children aged under 11 years.

– To promote the service within YMCA East Surrey and with statutory and 
voluntary sector partners across the region – this might include presentations 
at networking events and production of promotional material.

– To collect appropriate data and information about families being supported, to 
record attendance at group and one-to-one sessions and to report activity 
monthly

-To collect feedback on support delivered and to use feedback to inform 
continued development of the service.

– You will deliver services from YMCA East Surrey sites and other community 
venues across the following areas – Banstead, Tadworth, Epsom, Ewell, 
Ashtead, Leatherhead, Dorking and Esher.

– Any other duties which you are required to be performed within the grade and 
renumeration of the role.

young people/vulnerable adults. This role will require an enhanced DBS 
disclosure (with barred children/vulnerable adults). We require you to

As intern you will report into the Policy & Outreach Manager and play an active part in ISEAL´s activities involving China and Chinese stakeholders:

• Support quarterly China-focused ISEAL community member meetings, including preparation work for the meeting, logistics, setting up slides, taking notes and help address any follow up actions
• Participate in meetings with organisations as part of ongoing collaboration, including any logistics, note taking and support follow up actions
• Help identify relevant stakeholders and ways of supporting their sustainability goals

Competencies required

• Excellent written & spoken English, with proven ability to write clearly and concisely
• Comfortable communicating with international stakeholders in online and in person setting (e.g. webinars, workshops etc)
• Confidence in using the Microsoft Office suite, familiarity with virtual meeting tools (e.g. MS Teams, Zoom, etc)
• Academic or other background in policy, politics or sustainability
• Interest in social, environmental, and economic sustainability
• Ideally, mandarin speaker with native fluency and with ability to read simplified Chinese at advanced level
• If language proficiency in Mandarin / Chinese is at lower level, in-depth knowledge of Chinese political landscape may be sufficient

• Some understanding of, sustainability standards and certification, which may have been gained in academic, internship, employment or voluntary settings

We know how much difference a Health Play Specialist can make to children who are 
seriously ill and for a lot of hospitals and community healthcare settings these roles can fall by 
the wayside when budgets are critically tight. Our pilot Starlight Health Play Specialist project 
has now demonstrated the positive impact of play staff for babies, children and families. 
We’ve already learned so much and are designing an impact assessment tool with the 
practitioners. Although the setup of the project is done, there is lots of learning still to do and 
the manager of this work will facilitate and maximise this learning. 
Starlight Health Play Specialists not only create the time, space and opportunity for children to 
play, whether that’s for preparation for procedures, management of anxiety, entertainment 
during long periods of boredom or aiding recovery. They carry out on-the-ground research, 
measure impact of activities, sharing their learning with us and help us to really understand 
what makes a brilliant Health Play Specialist and develop standards and training.They are 
beacons of good practice, championing and protecting play in healthcare – and that is where 
you, our new Play Specialist Programme Manager, come in.

Delivering counselling sessions to clients identified through the Emotional Wellbeing Mental Health Contract. As a counsellor, you’ll hold a weekly caseload of up to 15 children and young people, will work as part of a team, undertaking mental health assessment and delivering a range of evidence-based treatment for children and young people. In this role you'll advise a range of internal clients across CRH on a broad range of life sciences-related activities. What will you be doing?

• Work independently to provide timely, proactive, pragmatic, high quality and commercial legal advice and solutions to the organisation

Group Facilitator

Location: National role which will involve extensive travel across England and Wales
Salary: £28,350 per annum FTE, £14,175 per annum actual earnings.
Hours: 18.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday (weekend & evening work may be required occasionally)

Role Purpose:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Groupwork Development Officer to deliver and develop groupwork programmes within the Women’s Estates, working closely with prison agencies and staff to facilitate life-changing relationship and parenting courses. You will play a vital role in empowering women to achieve positive outcomes and rebuild family ties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote Pact’s groupwork and parenting courses, supporting the recruitment of suitable participants through assessments and outreach.
• Facilitate the delivery of Pact’s relationship and parenting courses, including 1:1 booklets, to achieve positive outcomes for participants.
• Develop and maintain proactive working relationships with prison agencies to promote Pact and ensure effective referral procedures.
• Collaborate closely with Pact and prison staff to ensure smooth running of the groupwork programme, ensuring it complements other services provided within the prison.
• Work alongside prison staff, case managers, and key personnel to support women attending the courses.
• Promote Pact’s reputation to attract support from statutory and third-sector partners.
• Recording and Reporting:
• Monitor and support systems for thorough evaluation, data collection, and management.
• Attend key meetings, providing performance feedback and ensuring the programme's alignment with goals.
• Contribute to monthly service reports and provide updates on service progress to Pact and external partners as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in group facilitation, particularly in relationship or parenting programmes.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with prison staff, participants, and external partners.
• Proven ability to manage relationships and promote collaboration between various stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in data collection, reporting, and programme evaluation.
• A commitment to empowering individuals, especially women, to make positive life changes.

• To undertake procurement projects in one or more key categories in line with the Local Authorities' strategic and tactical management arrangements for procurement.
• To undertake data and market analysis for category spend in order to recommend procurement strategy opportunities in line with Corporation Standing Orders, procurement regulations, and public procurement law
• To support the delivery of the recommended category strategy for aligned categories in line with all relevant regulations, legislation, government directives and codes of compliance, to reduce risk of legal challenge to the Corporation, whilst maintaining the balance between high quality of goods and services procured and price, and to develop new strategies in line with market trends, changes in procurement law or guidelines, or corporate priorities.
• To act in a business partner role for a small range of departments, providing guidance and Procurement expertise to officers involved in strategic and tactical procurement exercises.

Candidates need to have the following experience/ qualifications:

• Previous experience within the Public Sector is essential.
• Candidates must hold or be actively working towards a CIPS qualification

• A generalist background in Procurement is necessary.
