Scotty’s Little Soldiers is a UK-based charity dedicated to supporting military children and young people (0 to 25 years) who have experienced the death of a parent who served in the British Armed Forces. The Head of Finance will be a key member of the senior leadership team, supporting the charity in developing and delivering our growth plans. 

Role Mission:

Key Duties:

· Ownership of the finance function.

· Preparation of budgets, forecasts, and cash flows.

We've been harvesting rainwater in remote communities for almost 40 years. Our work improves health, reduces poverty, builds climate change resilience and increases the attendance of girls at school. We are looking for someone special to join our small team in an exciting new fundraising role - could that be you?

Our new CEO joined in March 2024 and has led the development of a new three-year strategy focusing on the expansion of our existing programmes in Africa - income growth is vital to support this aim.

This new role will be responsible for generating an increase in our income from fundraising channels largely not explored by the existing team. Data at Unifrog

The Data team’s goal is to inform every Unifrog decision with data. That includes decisions taken by our teammates, university and employer partners, and those taken by teachers and students who log into the Unifrog platform every day.

Our team goal is ambitious in scale and broad in scope, and achieving it requires a diverse team with different skill sets. Our work includes managing external data integrations, analysing how students use the platform, and managing and developing our Salesforce platform.

What you’ll do 

As the Salesforce Administrator, you will maintain and enhance our Salesforce platform. Salesforce is central to our partner management processes and reporting. 

We take great care in maintaining our Salesforce organisation to provide an excellent user experience while delivering smart solutions. Your role will ensure Salesforce is robust and valuable, supporting our sales and marketing initiatives across school, university, and employer partnerships.

Your key responsibilities:

Maintaining our Salesforce platform

• Provide day-to-day support for Salesforce users through Jira and Slack. Improve our use of Jira to support the Unifrog team.

• Manage user roles, profiles, permission sets, and security settings to ensure data integrity and compliance with company policies.

• Build out clear and comprehensive documentation on how our Salesforce platform works, which can be used for sales training and future Salesforce development.

• Work alongside our finance team to ensure accurate and robust sales and commission calculations.

• Monitor the platform's health and identify data quality issues using reports, dashboards and alerts.

• Manage our Calendly integration, ensuring activities are recorded and reported accurately and that supporting documentation is up to date.

Developing our Salesforce platform

• Collaborate with stakeholders to align goals and priorities, gather requirements, define processes, and implement solutions within Salesforce.

• Design and implement automation workflows, validation rules, and custom objects to streamline operations and improve data accuracy.

• Proactively identify process improvement and automation opportunities.

  • For example, implement a screen flow to simplify a sales process.

• Conduct thorough testing to ensure any Salesforce development works as expected.

• Stay informed about Salesforce updates, best practices, and industry trends to recommend enhancements and drive continuous improvement.

Working together

Your projects will see you work closely with individuals across the company in our sales, finance and data teams. You’ll work closely with our Junior Salesforce Business Analyst who supports the team with Jira requests and reporting.

You will work closely with your line manager, the Head of Data and Insights, to define strategy and priorities.

You may be required to work alongside external Salesforce consultants.

What we’re looking for

• 2+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator or in a similar role.

• Proficient in Salesforce configuration, flows, process automation, and reporting.

• Experience with data management tools (e.g., Data Loader, Excel).

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• An ability to distil complex requests into practical solutions.

Location

The Role

The team are determined to increase the prominence of legacies both internally and externally in order to grow and protect this important income stream, which accounts for over half of donated income.

Job Overview

• Responsible for developing and delivering all fundraising events with the support of the Fundraising Events Manager
• Ensure that all event participants - virtual or physical have an exceptional experience to maximise income and are placed at the heart of everything that we do.

We provide direct psychological assessment, formulations and treatment to survivors of torture, trafficking, slavery and war, and organisational support (organisational reviews, training, reflective practice and consultation) to human rights organisations that share our aims (of reducing collective violence and/ or support people affected by collective violence) to mitigate the impact of trauma exposure on the workforce, and assist in sustaining the important work they undertake. 

TTI was founded in 2017 and has grown significantly in the last few years. With an increase in people affected by torture, trafficking and slavery, persecution, war and other forms of collective violence, efficient, evidence-based and effective trauma-informed responses are critical in mitigating the cycle of violence and contributing to more peaceful societies. TTI is borderless, working remotely to ensure that we can meet need, wherever it is in the world.

We are calling for Specialist Associates to join our highly experienced team to increase our multidisciplinary expertise, and to meet the holistic needs of our clients, to ensure that they receive the very best clinical service.

Specialist Associates could be asked:

● for their professional advice by our internal clinical leadership team and/ or to join formulation meetings in particularly complex cases

● to join psychological sessions to offer a broader MDT perspective in complex cases

How much time will I need to give?

We like to develop sustainable relationships with consistent, skilled and reliable associates who we know well. As a small charity, our need for input from our associates will change dynamically based on funding and projects we are undertaking. This means that whilst at times we might have a low need for input from you, at other times we might request more.

We understand that our Specialist Associates will likely have other work and life-demands that mean that what they can offer may also change over time. We make sure that we have regular contact so that our Clinical Lead understands what your time commitment is and can maximise your skills, interests and availability (whether this is a few hours a year, a month or a week) to match our needs as an organisation.

TTI provides the opportunity for connection time, peer supervision and in-house training, which Specialist Associates are welcome to attend in their own time and at no cost to TTI. These sessions are not mandatory but provide a good opportunity to build skills, share learning and engage in the wider organisation as a team as we grow and develop.

We are seeking to recruit a passionate and hardworking new Marketing and Communications Executive, to oversee our communications strategy and help develop the organisation during an exciting period of growth.

Working Hours: Part-time, 16 hours per week (working days are flexible)

Salary: £25,000 pro rata (based on a full-time equivalent 37.5 hour week)

This is a 16 hour a week role which would be perfect for someone looking for a flexible job that makes a big social justice impact. This would suit someone with family responsibilities or who is studying a part time masters course for example, who needs a job role that fits in around their other commitments. You could work it full time over two days or part time over 3, 4 or 5 days a week.

You will be joining a wonderful team in the UK and Uganda. We currently have two paid staff (based in London and Bournemouth) and a variety of volunteers in the UK, plus a team of 26 staff in Uganda. Job Purpose

- To design and deliver our communications plan, to a high standard.

- To support volunteers of a wide variety of skill sets to help S.A.L.V.E. to better achieve our aims and objectives in a variety of roles.

Key Activities

The following activities are intended as a guide to the main responsibilities of the post and are not an exhaustive list of duties and tasks. - Design and deliver the communication plan of the organisation. This will include administration of:

• Website
• Social Media channels

• Campaigns

- Administration of our Supporter Care Programme. This will include:

• Being a dedicated point of contact for Community Fundraisers
• Regular comms with new donors and regular givers
• Developing campaigns to attract new supporters

- Supporting the UK team, as required. This will include:

• Supporting the CEO on a variety of projects at different times in the year (eg. working on our annual report, preparing papers for board meetings, preparing assets for a supporter event etc.)
• Supporting the Development Manager with fundraising bids, including design work and proof reading.

- Managing communications volunteers in the UK to help to build the capacity of the organisation.

- Supporting with general organisational admin, as required.

- Working with the S.A.L.V.E. team to deliver on our strategic plan. Contribute to its review and improvements over time to maximise the organisation’s impact with our service users through regular evaluation and learning reviews where required.

Support Coordinator

This is an exciting home based opportunity working with stroke survivors and their families to support them following a stroke.

Position: S11228 Stroke Support Coordinator (two positions)

Location: Home-based South Warwickshire, including Rugby. Extensive travel will be required as part of this role (will include team meetings and other work-related meetings)

Salary: Circa £26,700 per annum

The Role

Reporting to the Stroke Service Delivery Coach, the coordinators will work with the local Health and Social Care services to receive referrals and support stroke survivors and their carers. As a coordinator you will provide personalised information, advice and support with regular reviews throughout.

Key responsibilities will include:
